Villa Serra is a simple modern home in the hills above the beautiful beach town of Canyelles. The property is in a quiet residential area, ensuring you can enjoy a relaxing and undisturbed break. The villa can accommodate ten guests across its five bedrooms and also boasts a private pool and amazing mountain views.
The villa is simply decorated with white walls and wood furnishings, replicating the traditional style of the region. The open plan communal spaces are spacious and fantastic for groups to spend quality time together. The ground floor is home to the large open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This spacious room is ideal for relaxing in through the day. The living space offers a large corner sofa and television to laze away on, with a couple of additional armchairs making for an ideal reading spot. The dining table can comfortably seat six guests and provides the perfect place to enjoy some delicious meals together. With a window over the table and at the end of the room, there is every opportunity to enjoy the fantastic mountain views whilst tucking into breakfast, reminding you of the beautiful surrounding landscapes. The kitchen occupies the rest of the room, fully equipped and modern in its design it can cater well for the group, with all the modern appliances you may expect. There is also a breakfast bar for enjoying a snack from, or perhaps as a place to chat whilst cooking.
The villa has five bedrooms to accommodate up to ten guests in comfort. The first of the bedrooms are on the ground floor with a twin single bedroom and a double bedroom. The remaining three bedrooms on the first floor are a further two twin single bedrooms and the master double bedroom. The master bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom to add a little extra luxury during the stay.
Outside the villa has some fantastic spaces for making the most of the reliable weather. A roof terrace provides expansive mountain views and really does make the perfect setting for a cool glass of wine as the sun starts to drop. You can then head down to the garden dining area to enjoy a wonderful barbecue under the stars. During the days, be sure to make use of the private pool and its cool water!

With fantastic mountain views around the property and a short drive to the beach, it is ideally located to make the most of what the region has to offer. The villa is a few kilometres from the nearest shop and restaurant, but can easily access the huge range of options at Lloret de Mar.
Lloret de Mar is a very popular destination for those seeking to stay on the Costa Brava. Renowned for its fantastic nightlife, it is great for those looking for somewhere to dance. There is a wide range of clubs and bars open until the early hours where you can enjoy letting loose and partying with other tourists. But don’t worry if clubbing and parties are not your things, the town can also offer plenty of more romantic and intimate settings for flowing conversation and relaxing evenings. With a wide range of restaurants and cuisines on offer, there is no shortage of places to grab a bite to eat.
A trip to the Costa Brava would not be complete without a visit to the beach! Canyelles is home to gorgeous sandy beaches and calm waters, making for the perfect place to spend a day by the sea. The beach has great facilities with nearby parking, toilets and showers. There are also a few beach bars where you can enjoy cool refreshing drinks and delicious traditional Spanish meals like Paella.
The Costa Brava is becoming more popular for some of the fantastic walks and hikes along the coastline. The dramatic landscapes and great weather draw walkers to explore the local area on the many coastal paths that are available, it is a fantastic way to spend the day! As you walk along the paths, you can expect to stumble across hidden coves and secluded beaches whilst enjoying the shade of the pine forests. Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Serra is a wonderful home for families to call theirs whilst visiting the Costa Brava. The villa has great facilities that the whole family are sure to love. The private pool is the real centrepiece, enjoy watching the kids play in the cool water and relax around the pool during the day. You could even pick up some water guns to add a little excitement to the day! The barbecue area is also great for families, enjoy cooking huge banquets before sitting outside together and enjoying quality time with each other. There are also great practical elements to make travelling as a family easier, a dishwasher and washing machine are handy, with a cot and highchair also available at an additional cost.
The local area is fantastic for families to explore, the nearby town of Canyelles being a great example of Spanish hospitality to families. Most restaurants will cater to younger children with high chairs and children’s menus. The beach at Canyelles is also great for young ones to enjoy, the ample facilities make the day easier, whilst ‘Blue Flag’ certified waters and on-duty lifeguards ensure that the kids can play safely in the water. The beach is also home to a range of water sport options, older children can check out some of the more adventurous sports like wakeboarding or parasailing, whilst little ones can enjoy a kayak with a parent or even a boat ride along the coast.
For a great day out, the whole family can enjoy, head to the local water park Water World. This water park has developed a fantastic reputation throughout Europe for its amazing facilities and range of rides. With everything from gentle lazy rivers to steep slides, the park has something to offer all ages, ensuring everyone can have a great day out. The park has a range of eateries for different tastes but also offer a shaded picnic area for those that would prefer to bring their own lunch.
