Villa Puigventos is cheerful, spacious and comfortable. It is located in the quiet area of Aiguaviva Park, 9km from the centre of Lloret de Mar and its fabulous beaches. Aiguaviva Park is a residential area with excellent facilities. You will find shops, bars and restaurants close to the villa yet you are also within easy access of the bustling, tourist town of Lloret. Villa Puigventos enjoys four bedrooms sleeping 6 to 8 guests. It offers a large garden with terraces for alfresco dining and a delightful swimming pool.
Lloret de Mar is one of Spain’s busiest holiday resorts. As well as a vibrant nightlife, theme parks and much entertainment, it offers wonderful landscapes and plenty of delightful walks along the coast or through the forest. The narrow winding streets of the Old Town are very enjoyable, brimming with shops, bars and restaurants, as are the famous landscaped Santa Clotilde Gardens, filled with fountains, ponds and beautiful sculptures.
Villa Puigventos enjoys very airy, colourful living spaces with contemporary furnishings. The open plan living and dining room offers considerable space, a modern black and white sofa and lovely views from the large picture windows and doors. The kitchen is very well equipped and boasts plenty of wooden cupboards, a handy breakfast bar where guests can keep the chef company and excellent appliances. Two of the bedrooms are also located on the main floor, both with warm, wooden furnishings including double beds. They share a large well-maintained bathroom with a large corner bath.
On the first floor, you will find another double bedroom with a double bed and a trundle bed, a shower room and an open area with a trundle bed and a sofa. This open room can sleep up to 2 guests. There is also a delightful closed terrace with furniture and lovely mountain views.
The villa boasts a covered terrace where you can enjoy alfresco dining using the villa’s barbecue. There is even an outdoor fridge so you don’t have to keep popping inside to top up your wine or beer glasses! The pool is lovely and a good size at 7m x 4m. It is very easy to relax at Villa Puigventos!
What you should know…
- Three of the bedrooms offer double beds, one with an additional trundle bed plus there is an open bedroom with a further trundle bed and sofa
- If you are on holiday with family, there are many beachside water parks with mini club services during the summer
- As well as visiting Santa Clotilde Gardens, you should visit the Marimutra and Pinya de Rosa botanical gardens in nearby Blanes

About the surrounding area of Villa PuigventosVilla Puigventos is located in a peaceful residential area on the outskirts of Lloret de Mar. There are plenty of good facilities close by.
Lloret de Mar enjoys every aspect of tourism that you may wish for. Boasting an attractive historic centre and beautiful, fascinating buildings, visitors can explore and learn about the history of the town. The Church of Sant Roma is fabulous. The front of the church is in Gothic style built between 1509 and 1522 but inside you will see the art of the Catalan modernism movement. Located on the top of the cliff between Cala Boadella and Fenals Beach, Santa Clotilde Gardens are one of Lloret de Mar’s best kept treasures. Construction on the gardens began in 1917 when the Marquis Roviralta met Clotilde Rocamora but sadly she died before they were complete. He later married his second wife and work resumed though the gardens carry Clotilde’s name. There are some wonderful festivals and events in the gardens including the Clon Festival concert series and the Lloret Outdoor Summer Festival. Throughout Lloret de Mar, visitors enjoy many other festivals and fairs including the Fair of the Americans, Fenals de Musica at Fenals Beach, the Medieval Fair and the annual Carnival. The town comes alive in a thousand colours with parades, costumes, parties and music during the Lloret Carnival. Those that love the outdoors can take to many of the footpaths that trace their way along the coastline or wind their way into the forests. Two sections of the CR92 Mediterranean Trail pass through the town.
Not far away, visitors enjoy a trip to Girona, passing through many agricultural and craft-focused villages on the way. Girona is Northern Catalonia’s largest city. It is a fabulous jewellery box of galleries, museums, Gothic churches and a wonderful dining scene, all sprinkled along a web of cobbled lanes and medieval walls. The Riu Onyar separates the walkable historic centre from the gleaming commercial centre on the west.
For a total change from the buzz and excitement of Lloret de Mar, you can head into Catalonia’s Pyranees, an all-season playground offering raw natural beauty, fantastic skiing and snowboarding, incredible hiking paths to the jewel-like lakes and valleys of the Parc Nacional d’Aiguestortes i Estancy de Sant Maurici, the low-lying countryside of Cerdanya and the dramatic climbing terrain of the Serra del Cadi. With majestic scenery, plunging valleys, snow-dusted peaks, thousand-year-old monasteries, outstanding Romanesque architecture and fabulous gastronomy, hikes within the Catalan Pyrenees uncover so many delights.
Banyoles Lake is where the 1992 Olympic rowing races took place. It is an excellent location for picnics. The neighbouring town of La Bisbal is the centre of Catalonia’s ceramics industry so a good place to pick up a few souvenirs. It is also home to the Palace Castle of the Bishops of Girona.
If you would like to discover more of the Costa Brava coastline, you can head to the idyllic town of Tamariu, embraced by pine clad headlands or the popular, upmarket Llafranc. It is easy to see why it attracts film stars, artists and the rich. Llafranc boasts a fantastic cocktail of chic restaurants and bars, authentic fishing boats, inviting turquoise waters and luxury yachts, all surrounded by glorious fragrant pine trees.

Best Suited For: All AgesLloret de Mar is a wonderful location for a family holiday. The beaches are splendid with many offering a mini club service where children can enjoy supervised activities. There are watersports, water parks, crazy golf, boat trips, theatre and musical shows and plenty of events such at the Lent Carnival Parade and Chocolate Feast. There are open-top bus tours, always a good way to see a city and fun for children. The restaurants and cafes are extremely family friendly plus there are many ice cream parlours. The botanical Santa Cotilde Gardens are always a good bet for a stroll, some games or a picnic. The gardens are located on the top of a hill between the beaches of Cala Boadella and Santa Cristina and boast many exotic flowers and plants, marble statues of mermaids and splashing fountains. The sea views are stunning. There are also exciting trips that can be taken such as day trips to Barcelona or Girona.
Lloret de Mar boasts 8 golden sandy beaches where children can swim, snorkel or dive in the crystal clear blue water. Some of these are huge tourist beaches plus there are some picturesque hidden bays. The sea is very warm, a big plus with small children. The most popular beach is the 1.6k long and 40m wide Playa de Lloret, an award-winning Blue Flag beach. Another wonderful option is the popular Fenals Beach.
Families can enjoy a day with nature in Lloret de Mar. You can enjoy the mountains, the beach, the forests and the sea. You can do this on foot, by bicycle, by car or by boat. Nordic walking, mountain biking and horse riding are all possible. The Costa Brava’s famous walking route Caminos de Ronda passes through the town and connects many villages, beaches and hidden coves.
Waterworld in Lloret is a spectacular water park with 20 exciting attractions. There are many swimming pools and water playgrounds as well as thrilling whitewater slides and much more. In high season there is a shuttle bus from the town though when staying at Villa Puigventos you would probably drive directly.
Gnomo Park is a magical leprechaun world with fun attractions aimed at children up to 12 years old. Children can climb and scramble through the climbing areas, play miniature golf, use the indoor ball pit, play on the air cushions and, in the high season, there are many water activities with a spray splash area with jets of water. Sould Park is located in the centre of Lloret. It is smaller than Gnomo Park but enjoys bouncy castles, a ball pit, pirate ship, carousel, gun shooting, a rodeo and arcade games. Magic Park would suit older children. It is a huge indoor games room with pool tables, table football, bumper cars, remote controlled car tracks, a bowling alley and arcade games. Further away, PortAventura is the biggest theme park in Spain with exciting attractions over 6 worlds. Children love the extreme world of scary rollercoasters, colourful shows and endless rides.

| End of stay cleaning included? | Extra €150, payable to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. |
| Linen & towels included? | Bed sheets and towels can be hired on site for an extra cost of €16 per person per week (paid locally). |
