Located in a quiet residential area just 4km from the beaches of Aiguablava and Sa Riera, this stylish property oozes rural serenity whilst still being close to the attractions of Begur and other surrounding towns and villages. With three good-sized bedrooms, Casa Daphne sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably, making it the ideal choice for a family, friends or multiple couples travelling together. For those looking to relax in a convenient yet tranquil location, not too far from the hustle and bustle of Begur, Casa Daphne provides an idyllic setting for a memorable holiday.
Set on a hill, Casa Daphne offers spectacular views of the rolling hills and surrounding landscape. This villa is divided over two floors; on the ground floor, you will find an open-plan kitchen and large living/dining room that has a comfortable sofa and a dining table that seats eight. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors fill the living space with natural light, and allow direct access from the living area to a stunning balcony area. The balcony overlooks the pool below, as well as the stunning surrounding countryside, and is equipped with a high-top bar table and sun loungers, providing a seamless blend of the interior and exterior.
On the upper level, there are three spacious double bedrooms and two well-equipped bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have double beds, while the third has twin beds; this would be perfect for families travelling with children. The bedrooms are all spaciously proportioned and finished to a high standard. Large windows allow guests to take in the stunning views at every turn, and fill the property with natural light.
Traditional stone steps lead down from the property to the sparkling blue private pool; surrounded by lush greenery and scenic views, guests will truly feel as though they are the only people on earth. There are plenty of sun loungers for guests to relax on and delve into a good book; the solarium area provides a fantastic spot for guests to get together and spend some quality time. With the beaches just a few minutes away, as well as being very close to the bustling town of Begur, guests will want for nothing at Casa Daphne.

About the surrounding area of Casa DaphneCasa Daphne is located just 4km from the stunning beaches of Aiguablava and Sa Riera. With crystal clear water and white sand, these beaches are widely regarded as some of the most beautiful beaches of Begur. The fine white sand and white rocks provide the water with an exquisite clear blue colour making it a perfect location for snorkelling. The shallow, calm waters and the proximity to fabulous local restaurants make these beaches a fantastic place for the whole family. There are also boats and kayaks available to rent, for those that want to explore the nearby bays on an exciting sea excursion.
Just a few moments away from the villa is the heart of Begur, a hidden gem of the ever-popular Costa Brava. Begur is part of the comarca of the Baíx Empordá in Catalonia. It has become very popular with the Spanish, many of whom travel from the city of Barcelona, which, if you feel like stretching your legs is located just 1-hour North of Begur! Located around a fifty-minute drive from the stunning city of Girona (50 km) or ninety-minutes (131 km) from the ever-buzzing Barcelona, Begur offers a fantastic location for all.
Begur is overflowing with Spanish charm and has a plethora of things to do from fantastic local eateries and restaurants to boutique shopping and much more. There are of course the ruins of the Castell de Begur which makes for an interesting hike.
Begur is conveniently located within a slew of local Spanish towns and villages giving families and explorers plenty of things to do. There are also the stylish beaches of Sa Tuna and Sa Riera which are just a short drive away. If history is your passion, then perhaps the nearby villages of Regencos and Púbol will interest you. They are both oozing with medieval architecture, especially Púbol which is home to many landmarks associated with Salvador Dalí, including the ruins of the castle that he gifted to his Russian wife, Gala. Begur is also local to many golf courses, two of which are located within 10km of the village.

Best Suited For: All AgesIf you’re planning a family holiday, Casa Daphne is ideal. The single bedroom is perfect for families travelling with kids, and the large private pool will entertain children for hours.
There is also a wonderful range of things to do in and around this destination. Various boating excursions are on offer at Aiguablava beach, where guests can visit the nearby coves and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters. For the water babies, it’s a great spot for diving, and there are a few dive centres to be found in the area.
For art lovers, Salvador Gala Dalí Castle House is around 30km away in Púbol, and in Figueres (58km) you can visit the Dalí Museum. A little further away in Céret, is the Museum of Modern Art (Musée d’Art Moderne) where you can see the works of Matisse and Picasso.
Begur Castle is also well worth a visit for children; In 1607 the castle’s owners sold the rights to the town. During the 20th century restoration work was undertaken, and this means that what you see today has had delicate work done to it. This work has also enabled people with limited mobility and wheelchairs to visit the castle.
Another gorgeous Costa Brava town, Palafrugell, is only 7km away, where apart from seeing the town and its lovely beaches, you can also go to the colourful Sunday morning market, or the daily market. Palafrugell also has quite a few good deli shops, plus Lidl and Carrefour, so it can be a good place to get stocked up, for those of you who are planning to rent an apartment or villa.
