Escape to your very own oasis at Casa Penyal and indulge in the serenity of this spacious villa. Situated in Calpe, high up in the hills with stunning views of the ocean, this holiday home is the perfect spot for a getaway with friends or family.

Days can begin on one of the four terraces, one of which is covered, sipping on freshly made coffee. Evenings can then be spent alfresco dining at the cosy outdoor dining nook, with a feast prepared on the barbeque. In other words, days from start to finish can live out your idea of tranquillity.  

The interior of the villa offers bright, open-plan living with large windows and double doors that open to the outdoor area. The home is an eclectic mix, with modern and traditional touches throughout. The dining and living area offers plenty of space for the whole group to sit and relax, whether around the dining table or on the large L shaped couch. The dining table in the open kitchen offers space for the whole group to sit, perfect for winding down and reminiscing over the day's activities.

There are two open kitchens in the villa, both of which offer all the home comforts needed to create a simple breakfast or an all-out feast. The appliances are up-to-date and a gas hob, gas oven, microwave, refrigerator-freezer, coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster.

The bedrooms in this home are welcoming and homely, with natural light streaming in. There are five bedrooms, two with double beds and three with two single beds. As for the bathrooms, there are three throughout the villa each with a shower, washbasin and toilet and one with a bath/shower and bidet.

The villa has air-conditioning in the bedrooms, which is necessary for those scorching Spanish days and nights.

Outdoors is the real charmer of the house, and the real haven. Spend the day relaxing by the private pool on one of the sun loungers or seek refuge from the crowd, and the sun, on one of the covered balconies that overlook the stunning ocean vistas.

The villa lies in a coastal and residential area, close to restaurants, bars and supermarkets. It is just 500 metres from Cala Fustera beach and five kilometres from Calpe.

  • There is a height gap between the entrance of this house and the driveway, and also the house and the outdoor area. The levels of accommodation are also connected by stairs. Therefore, this house is not wheelchair-friendly
  • This villa is in a residential area, however, the big trees and the setup of the lot mean you feel as though you are in your own slice of paradise
  • This is a non-smoking villa

With stunning clear waters and white sandy beaches, the Costa Blanca coast is a popular holiday destination for tourists from all over the world. With over 200 kilometres of Mediterranean coastline, there are many towns and villages along the coast that boast spectacular beached and medieval history.

One of the reasons for why it is such a popular destination lies in the weather. The area is rarely without sun all year round, as the area averages 3,000 hours of sunshine each year.

The oldest town along the coast, Benissa, is where this villa is located. Visitors marvel in the medieval history as they wander the narrow lanes and are enchanted by the white-walled buildings, the homes with window grids and the balconies that have flowers hanging from them. Everything in this town is beautifully quaint and full of history.

As for the local cuisine, seafood is plentiful and a must-try. There are also plenty of international establishments in the area, so every appetite is happy.

Benissa is conveniently located near to other towns along the Costa Blanca and easily accessible due to the proximity of the A-7 motorway. Day trips can be had to the historical town of Calpe or the upmarket beach town of Moraira. The town is also near the two local airports, Valencia and Alicante and the villa sits just over 100 kilometres from both.

This villa is a perfect holiday home for guests of all ages.

Children can spend the day swimming and tire themselves out, spending the evening slouched on the large, comfortable couch watching movies or playing games. There are plenty of bedrooms as well, so everyone can have their own space and the children can sleep as everyone else continues the party – and when they wake early in the morning, they can (hopefully) play without waking parents.

There are also small touches in the villa that make travelling with children easier such as a washing machine, a bathtub and satellite television.

The villa is just 500 metres from Cala Fustera beach, a small sandy beach that offers family-friendly restaurant and cafes nearby. There are also amenities such as bathrooms close. It’s a safe, clean, EEC flag beach that is perfect for children to swim and snorkel as parents hire sun loungers and relax.

There are plenty of activities in the area to keep children entertained, such as cycling, kayaking and snorkelling all within 1000 metres of the villa.

Benissa itself is a family-friendly location with churches, museums and parks to keep the children entertained and also plenty of fun stories that can be shared about the location.
