Plenty of sun, days on end of relaxation and a whole lot of Spanish charm. This villa, located in Benissa along the Costa Blanca is an idyllic escape for those seeking a relaxing getaway with friends or family. The three-level villa oozes Spanish charm, even at first glance. The grand staircase that leads from the pool to the house, the white stucco-clad exterior and the cobblestoned patio that surrounds the private pool.

As you head inside, you are greeted by airy rooms with loads of natural light. The wooden furnishings and finishings stand out against the bright, white walls and the classic furniture gives a homely feel, with more than a hint of Spanish charm. Days can be spent relaxing by the private pool, lounging on the terrace overlooking the sweeping view or reading a good book on one of the indoor, or outdoor, couches. Everything in this home is meant for relaxing.

The villa’s two kitchens have everything you need to make life easier on vacation, one kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator-freezer, coffee machine, mixer, toaster and juicer and the other, open-plan kitchen, has an electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, mixer, toaster and juicer. No slaving away over dishes on vacation. Once feasts are prepared, they can be enjoyed in one of the two dining rooms, both of which have incredible views.

As the days draw to a close and the sunsets, you can lounge about in one of the two air-conditioned living areas, both of which have televisions. The air-conditioning runs throughout the home and into the four bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms have two single beds and the other bedroom has a double bed. There are four bathrooms in the house, some of which are en-suites, these have a basin and a toilet and either a shower or bath.

Of course, no holiday home would be complete without a stunning outdoor area. Especially one in Costa Blanca, an area that gets 3,000 hours of sun a year. The enclosed plot has a private pool with sun loungers so guests can make the most of the sun. There is also a barbeque for feasts and an outdoor shower for freshening up, really, there is no need to go inside.

This villa is located in a residential beach area and it is just one kilometre from Fustera beach.

While this villa is located in Benissa, the closest town is actually Calpe, giving you the best of two close towns to explore.

Benissa is the oldest town along the Costa Blanca coast and a lot of its history has been largely preserved. There is plenty to see and do in this town, as you wander the narrow lanes and stumble across medieval architecture and the church, castle and ruins nearby. The scenery in the area is expansive and includes cliff tops, rocky coves, beaches and beautiful bays. Dining options in the area are plentiful and there are plenty of international establishments to satisfy all appetites, and the fresh locally caught seafood a must-try.

Calpe, which is within two kilometres of the villa, is another town with a rich history. With its location on the coast, it has attracted many voyagers and settlers through the years, and remains of Iberian tribes have been found around the town. During the 14th to 17th centuries, those who lived in the area were subjected to attacks by pirates, and in the 18th-century peace enabled the town to regenerate and become the tourist spot it is today. This history offers plenty to see and do, such as the ancient town centre and the Moorish quarter. There is also the Iglesia Vieja church, which is Valencia’s only remaining example of Mudejar-Gothic architecture. This rich history also impacts the cuisine that is on offer, with the various civilisations that have resided in Calpe leaving their own touch on the food offerings.

The villa's location along the Costa Blanca means it is easily accessible to other towns along the Costa Blanca, and also to the areas two airports, both Alicante and Valencia airport are within 100 kilometres of the villa.

Everyone will have the best time on this vacation, as there is plenty to keep kids entertained both at the villa and nearby.

Of course, the private pool is sure to keep children entertained until their fingers and toes are pruned as can be. Parents can supervise from the sun loungers or from the balcony and keep a safe splash distance. Once they are knackered out, kids can cosy up in one of the two air-conditioned lounges and enjoy satellite television. The space in this three-level home means everyone can do their own thing, without hearing each other.

Nearby is the Paseo Ecológico Benissa promenade, which is within 1000 metres of the villa. This is an Eco-Trail, and it is a great way to explore the coast. Walk as far as you, or the little legs, want to. The Northern track is the best for families as the first stop is Playa de la Fustera, a small family-friendly beach with sand for building perfect sandcastles and, crystal clear water. It also boasts a Blue Flag for cleanliness, safeness and accessibility.  Also, just 1000 metres from the villa is cycling, kayaking, fishing and snorkelling - activities that suit a range of ages. Five kilometres away, and kids (and big kids at heart) can fulfil their dreams of horse riding.

Further afield, yet still within 25-kilometres, is the Terra Mitica theme park, the Terra Natura wildlife park and the Aqualandia water park, perfect options for day trips.
