THE REGION
Puerto del Carmen is the main tourist town on the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. It is part of the municipality of Tías. Most of Lanzarote's over 1 million visitors per year choose this town as their destination. As a result, it remains Lanzarote's most popular resort, now sprawling along 7km of the island's south-central coast.
With sunshades, four lanes deep, and just 10-minute drive southwest from the airport, Lanzarote's original purpose-built resort is a primarily British-geared hub packed with bars, restaurants, clubs, jet skis, dive schools, banana boats, sports screens, and plenty of shopping.

Best Suited For: All AgesThere isn't a child in the world that will not fall in love with the imperial and divine, Villa Alonza. Get cosy and snug on lounge sofas as you surf the internet, the freedom of the portable router allowing for you to use the wi-fi anywhere in or out of the house! Accompany moments together dining or drinking, on the table by the kitchen with some music! The kitchen is fully-equipped, allowing for cooks to whip up a feast!
Three bedrooms sleep six guests, so even larger families will be able to sort out the sleeping arrangements quickly. And once you have finished, you will find that arranging the sleeping set-up will probably be the hardest task in your hideaway! Bedrooms have been finished with snuggly beddings and linens for you to sink into as you watch the television and the convenience of en-suite bathrooms in two of the rooms means you don't even have to go very far for relief!
Outdoors, grassy areas allow children to play barefoot whilst adults relax with a chilled beverage on the sun-loungers, the exterior providing partial views of the enticing sea! You don't have to head to the sea just yet, however, as the villa offers a pool to keep everyone entertained and relieved from the heat for hours! Dine alfresco and hire a barbecue grill should you want to make sure the kids have an unforgettable time truly!
The beaches on the shores of Puerto del Carmen offer gentle seas mostly year-round, so you won't even have to worry about bringing the littlest of the bunch along! What's more, the beaches also offer children's playgrounds, and adults can stay nearby without cramping their style, with drinks as they sway in a hammock. It doesn't stop there though, as older and more adventurous children can have a thrilling time, zooming along on jet-skis, banana-boats and so much more! But for an activity that brings the whole family together, take a boat or yacht tour and experience all the wondrous scenes around the islands coastal lines!
