This gorgeous farmhouse style villa has been beautifully renovated blending luxurious modern living with fabulous nods from the past. The villa boasts five delightful bedrooms, including one huge family room, sleeping up to 16 guests in total.

The tranquil Sant Andreu de Llavaneres lies on the Mediterranean coast between Mataro and Sant Vicenc de Montalt. It is a very popular summer residence for people that live in Barcelona, especially for those that enjoy sailing. Sant Vicenc de Montalt is a brilliant base to visit Barcelona, explore the Maresme and Costa Brava coastlines, visit authentic ancient villages and discover the mountain scenery. Can Cabot is surrounded by beautiful nature with the hills and mountains as a dramatic, stunning backdrop.

Can Cabot is not just refined and beautiful inside, it offers an enormous 20000 sq metre plot where you will totally relax. It enjoys a football field, a fantastic swimming pool, pretty gardens and a beautiful terrace. With elegance and charm, Can Cabot is both homely and graceful. In neutral palettes, the villa feels so calm and peaceful, a very easy place to relax. The open plan living space is very striking with its beamed vaulted ceiling. To one end is a lovely modern kitchen and dining area and to the other, a very spacious lounge. Gorgeous chandeliers hang from the ancient, atmospheric beams and light floods the room through the many doors and windows. The dazzling white walls combine wonderfully with the dark rich wood of the beams, window frames and dining table. It is a wonderful, sociable entertaining space.

The five bedrooms enjoy the same elegant and romantic styling and it is clear to see that every piece of furniture has been handpicked. The beds are beautifully adorned with fine linens and like the living space, the rooms boast gorgeous beamed ceilings and some enjoy exposed stone walls. They are relaxing havens oozing a wonderful, calm ambience. Three of the bedrooms feature double beds, two of which enjoy an additional day bed, one bedroom has twin beds plus there is a family bedroom with two kingsize beds and two singles. This is a great house for multi-generational families or several families. The villa boasts two very spacious bathrooms with showers to share. The upper bedrooms lead to a large covered balcony where the youngsters in your group can enjoy some competitive fun playing table tennis.

The outside space of the villa is exceptional. Not only are the views of the mountainous countryside stunning, the villa itself is very pretty. Adorned with colourful bougainvillea,  beautiful shutters and a gorgeous canopy, this stone and white rendered gem is an absolute delight. The gardens are fabulous, brimming with lush lawns, majestic cypress trees and wonderful mature plants. The pool is a wonder surrounded by a large terrace, loungers and other furniture. The views are absolutely stunning. This villa is completely private and very secluded. Guests can enjoy sensational alfresco dining in the beautiful gardens.

Guests can enjoy the best of both worlds at Casa Cabot in the peaceful neighbourhood of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres. The lively city of Barcelona is only half an hour away but there is much locally to explore and enjoy.

The Berti Cliffs behind the town are a delight for those that enjoy the great outdoors, stunning views and ancient villages. At the foot of the cliffs and valleys are plenty of gorges, waterfalls and streams. There are some wonderful buildings and towns to discover including La Garriga and its architecture, spas, Roman ruins and its golf course, San Feliu de Codines, Sant Miquel del Fai, Coves del Toll to Moia and the city of Vic.

The Meresme Coast is the narrow strip of coast between Barcelona and the Costa Brava. It covers more than 50km of coastline with a fabulous variety of beaches including secluded, rocky coves, sandy beaches busy with watersports and children’s play areas plus a few nudist beaches. With beautiful green hills as a backdrop, together with crystal clear blue sea and famous chiringuito beach bars, visitors love them. Some of the best are the magical Sant Pol de Mar, Caldetes, Ocata, Calella, Playa de Levante, Santa Susanna and Pineda de Mar. Sant Pol offers a unique charm with its tiny winding streets and white houses which back the little bays brimming with fishing boats.

One of the highlights of your trip is likely to be visiting the fabulous city of Barcelona. With its fabled architectural treasures spanning more than 2000 years, its mastery of gastronomy, famous football team, family entertainment, incredible nightlife and its enchanting seaside, it really is a city that offers it all! With famous whimsical Gaudi masterpieces such as the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo and Parc Guell, towering temple columns, ancient city walls, subterranean stone corridors, tranquil plazas and soaring cathedrals, the city is intriguing, beautiful and best seen on foot. Barcelona has long inspired artists, including Pablo Picasso and Joan Miro, both of whom have major museums devoted to their works in the city. Football fans may head directly to visit Camp Nou or a FC Barcelona match. Youngsters may prefer the zoo, aquarium or the Poble Espanyol.

You will enjoy a feast in Barcelona with incredible seafood, cured ham and fabulous delicacies, all served in the city’s captivating settings. It might be a 1920’s elegant art nouveau dining room, a classic Basque-styled tapas bar, a Galician seafood tavern or waterside, watching the sunset. Las Rambla enjoys a wonderful market where you can taste delicious food and wines and alfresco dining. Hidden away, there are charming small tapas bars serving local cured Iberico ham, gazpacho soup and la bomba, a potato croquette served with spicy tomato sauce and a healthy portion of aioli. Many bars serve the famous local Estrella as well as delicious sangria and cocktails. Live music is in abundance with jazz spilling out of basements and the rhythms of flamenco enthralling the crowds. The nightclubs are renowned. Barcelona is a city that never sleeps!

The sun-drenched Barceloneta Beach is a popular spot where you can enjoy paddleboarding, sunset cruises, waterside dining and impressive sand sculptors. The promenade is a delight with alfresco wining and dining, street entertainers and families having a wonderful time. The 4.5km stretch of sandy bays along the shoreline make Barcelona the perfect city break with a side of beach. Nova Icaria Beach and Bogatell Beach offer a more peaceful feel.

The Montjuic hilltop is close to the city offering endless exploring, botanic and sculpture gardens, excellent museums, fantastic art galleries, an old castle and breathtaking panoramic views.

  • Amazing stay

    on 03/09/2019

Our stay at the villa was amazing. The inside and outside spaces are both spacious and very pretty. We went as 3 families and found we had lots of space to spread out and enjoy the surroundings. The villa is really well equipped with comfortable beds. Only thing we found is that some of the outside equipment was a bit tired and in need of replacement.

Ana our host was really helpful and couldn't have done more to make our stay more enjoyable.

We would definitely return! 5 stars!

  • As close to paradise as we have ever been!

    on 26/08/2019

Up in the hills of San Andreu de Llavaneres this amazing villa is all it claims to be and more!! Our whole family of 17 thoroughly enjoyed the massive pool and hikes through the surrounding park land. I personally enjoyed “talking” with the four beautiful white horses grazing beside the property. Ana was incredibly good at fixing any small problems and we all enjoyed the “House man” Marcos who would drop by everyday to maintain the house and take away our refuse. All in all we can’t imagine any other place we would have rather been. A magical experience!!

  • Authentic and extremely charming residence north of Barcelona

    on 03/11/2018

We had a great week at Can Cabot which is located in a secluded and private area in the mountains. The house itself is highly unique with close eye for preserving the charming details of the once old stables. The ceiling is breathtaking and the windows and doors have a rustique feel to them that brings you back in time yet with a modern update making this house well worth a visit. As a bonus we had a huge swimming pool all to ourselves and despite the time of the year everyone enjoyed a swim in the cool water. Anna - the owner - was very nice and helpful during our stay. We highly recommend spoiling yourselves with a visit to this amazing place <3

  • Beautiful villa located in a beautiful isolated area with the best host!!!!

    on 31/05/2018

So I booked this villa for my birthday get away for 18 people.
The villa is in a isolated road/hill so would definitely recommend hiring a car.
The villa itself is beautiful, the pictures do not do the property justice. The pool is huge, and the villa has more than enough space to fit 18 people perfectly. Each room was clean and had fresh sheets with comfortable beds. The living room area and kitchen was big enough to fit 18 people at once with plenty of space. The bathrooms were super clean and tidy and had big lovely mirrors.
The property has a nice character to it and is amazing for a quiet getaway, but still close enough into Barcelona to have a good night out.
I would say it’s about 30/35 mins into Barcelona depending on where your going.
Ana who is the host was just absolutely amazing!!!! She really took care of us and added to our experience. We had a few issues getting in and out of the villa as we didn’t rent cars, we hired a coach service who cancelled on us because of where the villa was situated. Ana took the time to arrange taxis for us to take us into Barcelona and back to the airport. Also she Drove us to buy food from the supermarket, and second time we needed to go into the town she arranged for a taxi. Anytime we needed her she was there to assist and very hands on, she lives three houses away. She is not intrusive and only came to the property when needed, so don’t feel like she will be spying.
Honestly I cant fault the villa and with a host like Ana it’s even more of an enjoyable place to stay.

If I was planning another getaway would definitely stay here, but would hire a car to get around as the place is located on a long secluded hill/road.

Taxis were about 80 euros one way into Barcelona.

Beautiful villa with the best host hands down!

  • Amazing Villa! LOVED this place!

    on 09/12/2016

This home was amazing. I was a little worried this pictures would not live up to the real thing but in some cases the pictures did not do this home justice. The pool is huge, the rooms were clean and nice. The area is peaceful and yet was still not a far drive to a store or beach. We were traveling with two families and a total of 7 kids from 5 to 13 years old. The kids LOVED the ping pong table and the big room upstairs. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend this home. The owner was good to work with and our deposit was returned promptly.
