Retreat with family and friends to Casa Del Pan, a beautifully rustic Mallorquin country house, ideally located close to Puerta Pollensa Beach. With traditional stone walls and filled with antique furniture, wooden shutters, artwork and decor, the casa is a genuinely authentic setting for your getaway.
The house is built on two storeys, but the accommodation is found only on the ground floor, making it easily accessible for all guests.
Through the entrance, you’ll find the spacious living area, with big soft sofas, satellite TV, and whitewash beams, which makes space feel airy and fresh. To the right, a modest kitchen and dining area can be found across the covered terrace. To the left of the lounge, the first of three beautifully decorated bedrooms can be located, with an antique Mallorquin double bed is an extra unique feature in the room.
A small hallway leads to two further bedrooms, one twin and one double. Both are welcoming sights with traditional wooden furniture, cool stone flooring and whitewashed walls. The main bathroom with a bathtub and a shower is accessible to all guests from the hallway. The second bathroom with shower/bathtub can be accessed from the outside terrace, along with a laundry room too.
The real gem of Casa Del Pan is found outside in the outhouse, overlooking the pool area. It’s home to a stunning large dining/kitchen area, filled with slanted wooden beams, flooded with natural daylight and where mealtimes will come alive thanks to the built-in barbecue and wood oven. The dining table for 6 is the perfect spot for a night of wining and dining, while the armchairs by the fireplace is a lovely spot for an after-dinner drink or aperitif.
Outside in the garden, it’s beautifully tranquil, with a stone terrace that leads out from the living space, filled with plants and outdoor dining furniture. Through a pretty archway, lies the large private swimming pool, which is surrounded by sunbeds. It’s a fabulous spot for a day of swimming and sunbathing. To the right, a second outdoor dining option, which is shaded by beautiful awnings of flowers, is situated ideally in front of the large kitchen/dining room and offers stunning views across the pool area and the surrounding countryside.
What you should know…
- There is limited WiFi and air conditioning throughout the Casa, however, the stone tiles and walls help keep the house cool in the summer months.
- The swimming pool is unfenced, so take care with younger children.
- Not all bedrooms enjoy ensuite facilities but have use of two bathrooms.

The beautiful villa is situated along the road between Pollensa Old Town and Puerto de Pollensa, so is ideally located should you want to explore the historic town or beach!
One of Mallorca’s most attractive towns, thanks to the winding cobbled lanes with historic architecture and an impressive main square, lined with cafes, restaurants and bars, it’s a beautiful place to explore or head out for a meal.
The town has several cultural sites to take in too, including the Roman bridge, ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa, a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town.
Pollensa town hosts a lively battle re-enactment every August and the Santo Domingo Cloisters in the centre in the city is the venue for open-air concerts every summer, as part of the Pollensa Music Festival. Every Sunday there is a traditional market which is not to be missed!
Port de Pollensa was once a fishing village but now one of the most popular coastal towns in northern Mallorca. A beautiful large marina and a horseshoe bay with a stunning mountain backdrop, the resort is wonderfully picturesque and filled with bars and restaurants. The beach is long and wide and furnished with sun loungers and many cool beach bars.
Cala San Vincenc, an old fishing village arranged around four little cove beaches and stunning blue water is 4.5km away.
