- A welcome hamper on arrival

This charming white villa sits in front of the stately pine trees that make up the Portuguese countryside. Once an old farmhouse, Villa Leonor is located in the coastal resort town of Cascais and makes for a sweet retreat in your piece of paradise.
Beautiful hills and trees surround the villa as well as views of the ocean and a lovely nearby beach that is situated within walking distance.
The private pool comes with a small diving board for the more adventurous guests and sun lounges set up to take advantage of the sun. Inside, natural light beams in from the surrounding glass doors onto a bright living room with cosy furniture and an elegant coffee table.
The spacious apartment is perfect for looking out at the glorious nature that surrounds Villa Leonor from the comfort of your front room.
The villa’s first-floor balcony overlooks the magnificent coastline, beaches and horizon, and is equipped with enough seats to entertain and dine with a large party.
Guests looking to make use of the kitchen will not be disappointed as they will find more than enough space to cook up a delight with all the modern appliances needed to do it. Up to twenty guests can be accommodated in this villa, as two of the bunk beds sleep three guests each and four additional temporary beds.
The kitchen is bright and spacious with windows looking out onto the garden. All seven bedrooms (2 of which are accessed through other bedrooms, making them perfect 'family' rooms!) are homely with dim atmospheric lighting and plenty of storage space for clothes, gifts and souvenirs.
An excellent dining room is designed in an open plan style with the living room and has enough space for all twenty guests. Here, large white tables are brightened up with vivid orange, pink and yellow seats.

THE REGION
A coastal town just 20 miles west of Lisbon, Cascais was once a small fishing village, but its idyllic scenery attracted the attention of artists, writers and expelled European nobility in the 20th century. Today, it still attracts high society, but all society comes into force to enjoy the gorgeous beaches and adventure options like sailing and surfing.
Cascais also sits just west of Lisbon and right on the edge of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, meaning there are ample opportunities for exciting day trips. When you’re not off an excursion up the coast, you’ll find Cascais has plenty of its own allures. Take your pick of gorgeous sandy coves, wander around culture-packed art centres, book a surfing lesson or sit down to dine on some of the best food in the region.
ABOUT THE LISBON COAST
The Lisbon Coast is a sensational stretch of golden beaches, wave-lashed cliffs and vibrant seaside towns – but there's more to the Atlantic coastline than that. Delve beneath the surface to discover hidden coves, family-owned seafood restaurants and pristine natural parks.
The coast around Lisbon provides an easy, breezy escape from the capital, whose proximity has made it the stomping ground of kings for the last 1,000 years. In summer, Lisboistas stream into elegant Comporta and Cascais to escape the heat of the city; year-round, surfers hang loose on the coast, waiting for the rollers to crash down on the sand.
But while you're enjoying one of our fantastic villas in Lisbon Coast, you may well want to take some time out from all that sun worship to explore everything else the region has to offer – so we've put together this handy travel guide to give you a little help and inspiration!

A Wonderful Experience- highly recommended!
This is a beautiful, well appointed and spacious villa in a glorious location. The views alone are worth 5 stars , especially at night. Paulo the Manager was absolutely brilliant- competent, very friendly and lovely to deal with. We were there as a family of 3 generations , spanning 4 -60 years old and everyone loved it- the wee ones wanted to live there ! Highly recommended.

Enjoyable Villa for Families
A fantastic villa for our family group (older children). Great views, amazing tennis court and swimming pool. Lots of fun for everyone. The terrace and BBQ were especially good. The complete opening of the sliding glass doors onto the balcony was awesome. Lots to do and plenty of space. Pedro, the villa manager was outstanding. The supermarket in the little village close to the villa had everything we needed. The villa is in a lovely woodland setting and only a short drive to Cascais.
