Located in an enchanting pine forest, Villa Domitila is a large holiday villa that stands above the cliffs of the Caparica Coast. Submerged in the glorious nature of Portugal and overlooking the sublime coastline, this holiday home has all that is needed for a tranquil getaway.
The property is divided into two houses and has a spacious garden with steps leading down to the pool. A ladder leads into the pool water for easy access, and a diving board is fitted at the end for an exciting swimming experience. The pool area also possesses sun lounges for catching those sizzling sun rays.
The garden is home to a plethora of plants and trees as well as quiet green areas with small benches that are shaded by towering trees for days that you spend blissfully relaxing. The garden is completed by an outside dining table and chairs, right in the middle of the greenery.
Both living rooms are open-plan with the dining rooms and boast sliding doors across the front that provide fantastic natural light and access to the garden. The rooms also have cosy sofas and a warming fireplace, perfect for entertaining nights in.
In one of the dining rooms, gold lights hang from the wooden ceiling. The place is stylishly lit by candlelight and contains a large, wooden cabinet with glass revealing an exciting array of ornaments.
The bedrooms are spacious and decorated with wooden furniture, with some leading out onto the garden. Guests will enjoy getting ready for their day and unwinding in the evenings with the marble tiled bathrooms providing a delightful place to relax.
The villa has a wonderfully vibrant design throughout and a games room on the first floor complete with a pool table and table football.

About the surrounding area of Villa DomitilaVilla Domitila is situated only 2km away from Praia do Castelo, which translates to ‘Castle beach’ due to its long-gone ancient watchtower that used to protect the coast from the attacks of Barbary pirates during the 16th century.
Some remains of the watchtower can be found near the beach’s entrance. The beach is known for its picturesque golden sand that sits beneath the scenic cliffs and is a great spot for snorkelling, swimming and sun-bathing.
Costa da Caparica is a long stretch of beaches and lies only 6km away from the villa. You will have no difficulties in finding a beach that best suits your desires and needs along this coastline, so why not try them all! The town of Caparica is also well worth a visit to take in the fantastic scenery.
It was once a fishing village and today, vibrant fishing boats and people selling their fresh catch of the day can still be seen daily. The town is home to a 16th century Capuchin monastery, established in 1560 which houses a group of small buildings that possess tiny stone rooms with cork-lined doors and ceilings. It is a truly enchanting and unique experience that reveals the lives of monks in times gone by.
Costa da Caparica is also a haven for fabulous bars and restaurants, with some opening way into the early hours of the morning. Arriba Club is located on the beachfront and is known for its delicious toasties and baguettes served throughout lunch and dinner, and the well-priced cocktails served in the evening.
The Waikiki is open until 4.00 a.m. and is a stunning bar and restaurant that effortlessly transforms from daytime to night-time. The 23-year-old venue has outside seating on a wooden deck on the promenade as well as a resident DJ and king size beds available to rent over the sand.

THE REGION
Only 25 km from Lisbon, located in a protected pine woodland and close to the coastal town of Caparica, Aroeira is a unique estate comprising two golf courses. Aroeira offers golfers the perfect combination of a championship course set amidst exuberant natural surroundings.
The closest beach from Aroeira is Fonte de Telha. It is a pretty good spot for Surfers, and you will also find several choices of beach bars and restaurants to go to. The beach also offers free showers located right at the entrance near the main path in front of the parking spaces and the mini market.

Wonderful
The whole group, adults and children, we have enjoyed an unforgettable week. The comfort of the houses, the magnificent garden, the kindness of Joao and Virginia have made us feel at home. The view of the sunset from the pool area is magnificent and the beaches where the children signed up for surfing lessons are simply amazing and only 5 minutes away by car.
We would all love to come again!

We were a group of 11 guy's staying at this villa. It was everything we wanted and even more! The owner João was really nice to us and showed us the villa and after that took couple of us to a car ride, showing us the town and routes what we should use. Also took us to the market and helped us buy what we want. Really helpful dude with everything and always a phone call away! Villa is great and has lot of rooms for everyone, really clean and has all the amenities you want. Pool is great and the view near it is amazing. About 30 minutes from airport and peaceful area this is the place to be. Great villa, great owner, couldn't think of anything better.

Fantastic stay in beautiful portugal
This villa is only 20-30 mins south of lisbon and about 15 min walk from the beach, giving an amazing experience of both the city and the sun. We stayed for a week with a group of 14 people and had an amazing time chilling by the pool and around the villa, sometimes heading to the beach / city. The villa is in fact split into two sections which are joined up. This makes catering easier as you have two kitchens and dining areas! However the whole place is connected by a beautiful shared outdoor area/ pool/games room. The closest shop is about 20 min walk away and so you might be best with a car. However we had no problems walking or taking cheap Uber + the villa has two bikes to use. The villa is very clean and well equipped with great kitchen facilities and living areas.
