Costa da Caparica is located just 20 minutes away from Palmera Relax, offering guests the prime opportunity to explore a wealth of iconic landmarks for themselves. One of the most prestigious attractions within this region is Belem Tower, an archaic medieval defence tower that can be found just over 30 minutes away from the villa. This town symbolises the entrance of Lisbon and has greeted weary travellers for generations. Crafted from robust limestone and standing at 30 metres tall, this tower also depicts a staggering Portuguese Manueline style to further enhance its royal legacy. Guests are encouraged to take a trip to the peak of the tower and bask in the vibrant panoramic views that sit below.
Alongside its wondrous tourist attractions, this region is also commended for its transformative food industry. Since it is surrounded by sapphire blue water, fresh seafood takes pride in many menus throughout the area. Arroz de Marisco, also known as Seafood Rice, is one of the area’s most popular dishes and blends a wealth of shellfish, such as prawns and clams, with a plethora of expertly cooked rice. Many previous guests have compared it to a signature paella but with a much richer brine flavour. This dish can be found in a variety of restaurants along the seafront, allowing guests to indulge in a mouth-watering meal as they watch the quaint fishing boats flat across the calm water.
The Sanctuary of Christ the King is one of the most pivotal landmarks in the entirety of Portugal and works to celebrate those who bravely sacrificed their lives during the tumultuous events of World War II. It pulls upon a range of motifs seen in the prolific Christ the Redeemer statue seen in Rio de Janeiro. From the top of the looming monument, guests will be able to gain an unobstructed view of the immense Ponte 25 de Abril Bridge. Thus, this is a great landmark to visit if you are looking to gain a better understanding of Portugal’s roots from a much more intimate perspective. Only 25 km from Lisbon, located in a protected pine woodland and close to the coastal town of Caparica, Aroeira is a unique estate comprising two golf courses. Aroeira offers golfers the perfect combination of a championship course set amidst exuberant natural surroundings.

The closest beach from Aroeira is Fonte de Telha. It is a pretty good spot for Surfers, and you will also find several choices of beach bars and restaurants to go to. Due to Costa da Caparica’s immense history, it is an ideal place to visit if you are travelling with particularly curious and excitable children. Jeronimos Monastery is an extremely vast landmark that is situated just over half an hour away from the villa. Designed by the acclaimed Diogo de Boitaca in 1495, this impeccable monument was once regarded as the necropolis of the Portuguese royal dynasty. Inside, this attraction is packed full of alluring and unconventional artefacts, allowing guests to observe the tomb of Vasco de Gama as well as a wealth of traditional archaeology equipment. In 1983, it was finally awarded its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exemplifying its prestigious legacy throughout the area.
The Park and National Palace of Pena is a perfect attraction to visit if you wish to blend to wonders of history and nature during your sightseeing adventure. Covered in 19th-century Romantic motifs, this palace accentuates the elegance of the entire area. It is also recognised as one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Many locals have noted that this building is also used by government officials for crucial state events, adding a buzz of excitement to this landmark. Once you have explored this palace for yourself, be sure to examine the accompanying gardens. Here, you will be inundated with bustling flora and unique horticulture. The Park and National Palace of Pena are located just under an hour away from Palmera Relax.
This area is also celebrated for its flawless selection of beaches, such as Praia da Saude, which is just under 20 minutes away from the villa. Equipped with endless stretches of soft golden sand and crystal-clear water, this is a fantastic attraction to visit if you wish to detach from the hustle and bustle of normal life and return to a state of relaxation. This beach is also home to a quirky and bustling bar, allowing the grown-ups to indulge in a few cocktails as the children let their imaginations run wild. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €1,000 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time Between 3 - 8 pm, arrivals out of schedule will have an extra cost of €50 to be paid directly to the owner.
Departure time 10 am
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Pool towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
End of stay cleaning included? Not included on the rental price, extra €600 to be paid with the balance to OT. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included.
Minimum stay 5 nights during low season. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Flexible.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Pool heating charge? For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of €100 per day (to be paid to OT prior to travel). Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.
Tax Tourist Tax of €2 per person per night for over 13's is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid locally in cash on arrival.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking at this property (or full payment if booking within 12 weeks of departure).
