The open plan living and dining room are spectacular with an ultra-high ceiling and much light illuminating this gorgeous, elegant space through the many patio doors. Superb, sumptuous, traditional furnishings blend perfectly with this bright, modern space to create a calm and soothing ambience. The high-end kitchen is sleek and contemporary with a mix of trendy warm wooden units and glossy grey ones. Thoughtful touches have been added including a Nespresso coffee machine and 2 extra drinks fridges. No corners have been cut in designing this masterpiece and adding top-notch, attractive furnishings.
There is a modern chill-out lounge with a kitchenette in the basement, perfect for relaxing and watching television. It also serves as a playroom for young ones and private space for teenagers. There is also a useful fully-equipped laundry.
Villa Wendy boasts 5 spacious, polished, light-filled bedrooms, all with immaculate, tiled ensuite bathrooms. There is a mix of double and twin beds, some of which are next to each other creating huge, comfy beds. Each bedroom has its own sophisticated style, some with ornate furniture and others classical or modern. The bathrooms are beautifully styled and offer a mix of baths and showers.
The garden and terrace are super impressive with deluxe outdoor furnishings including sun loungers that surround the wonderful swimming pool and alfresco dining and lounge areas. Guests cannot fail to relax at this comfortable, modern, first-class holiday home.

About the surrounding area of Villa WendyVilla Wendy is situated in a luxury private condominium close to Vilamoura, Almancil and Quarteira. The area is glamorous, exciting and stunning with a range of gorgeous beaches and a fantastic selection of prestigious golf courses.
Nearby, Almancil is charming and typically Portuguese. The local pottery is very famous. Its neighbouring village of Sao Lourenco boasts the most attractive church, decorated with characteristic blue tiles telling the life of its patron saint, stunning azulejo work dating back to 1730. Almancil’s centro cultural hosts a range of art exhibitions and musical performances.
The area’s beaches are incredible from Vilamoura right down to the stunning Ria Formasa Nature Reserve, the other side of Faro. The 5km Vale do Lobo stretch of golden sand is backed by dramatic terracotta cliffs. Surfers adore the brilliant aqua waves. The coastline is ideal for families with the huge expanses of sand and watersports galore. Also close by is the fabulous Quinta do Lago lagoon where the water is calmer and warmer. Again there is a range of watersports and excellent waterside dining.
Vilamoura is a sporting haven with six renowned golf courses, horse riding, football pitches and a top tennis academy. The Portugal Masters takes place every year at the Victoria Golf Course and defines the Algarve’s position as one of the finest golf destinations of the world. Other prestigious courses in Vilamoura are Millenium, the famous Old Course, Pinhal and Vila Sol. The Old Course is the second oldest golf course in the Algarve. There are other excellent golf courses nearby.
Vilamoura also boasts two fabulous beaches, a stunning marina, a leading casino, numerous chic, high-class restaurants and groovy lounge bars and beach clubs. The glitzy Vilamoura Marina was awarded International Marina of the Year 2019/2020 by The Yacht Harbour Association and has hosted World Championships with hundreds of sailors from many countries. Vilamoura provides mooring and facilities for day-cruisers, glamorous super-yachts and offers a range of boat trips. The Vilamoura Museum is home to ruins with remnants of historical civilisations. It is just a few steps from the marina.

THE REGION
Vilamoura has been a glamorous town ever since Roman time. Its rich history is still palpable as you walk its streets, coming upon Roman Baths and ancient murals all around town. These days, Vilamoura is still a high-class destination although it has certainly kept up with the times. Yachts dock at the large marina and travellers galavant the seaside strip hopping between bars, restaurants and the dazzling casino.
The local championship courses naturally attract a crowd of golf enthusiasts as well, and there is a large selection of other sports to enjoy in the area (including those best played out in the water). There is certainly no need to ever be bored in Vilamoura, but if it’s ultimate relaxation you’re after you won’t be disappointed. The town is alluringly close to Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia, where the golden sand and hot Mediterranean sun is just about never-ending.

Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Wendy is perfect for a family holiday. The garden and pool are superb, and inside the villa, children will appreciate having their own space in the basement.
Aqualand Algarve is a thrilling waterpark close to Villa Wendy. It boasts hair-raising Kamikaze and Banzai slides, a water playground, swimming pools, mini slides and a lazy river.
Zoomarine is another wonderful attraction with shows, rides, slides and pools. It focuses on environmental education and boasts a fabulous rehabilitation centre for marine life. Visitors enjoy dolphin, and sea lion presentations, birds of prey in action and can interact with the dolphins in the pool at Dolphin Emotions.
Almancil Karting offers a range of go-karts for children of all ages. There is a small track for 3-5-year-olds, 120cc karts for 6 and over and more powerful karts for older teenagers and young adults. There are also 2 seater karts if parents want to take part with their children. Almancil Karting also offers buggy safaris, trampolines and remote-controlled boats.
The beaches in the area are perfect for children. Praia de Falesia, Praia de Quarteira and the idyllic beaches on the islands of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve are some excellent places to head for.
Children will also love horse riding through the wonderful countryside, orange groves and on the beach. The Vilamoura Equestrian Centre has great facilities and a lovely atmosphere. There are also a couple of other local riding schools.
Desert Pines Algarve FootGolf is near Vale do Lobo and provides great fun playing the golf-like course using your feet as clubs, kicking the ball from the tee to the green and into the cups. There are plenty of mini-golf courses in the area.
