Villa Cistanca is a spacious and charming holiday home located within a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Vilamoura. This lovely, ideally positioned three-bedroom villa sleeps up to seven guests, and is the perfect choice for a group of friends, a family or multiple couples wanting to spend some time together in the gorgeous Algarve. This stunning house has a homely and comfortable finish, providing the perfect getaway spot for guests.
The interior is decorated with a traditional Portuguese style, and the kitchen, living and dining areas are all set in a convenient open-plan space, allowing guests to socialise together. The spacious kitchen features a breakfast table, as well as plenty of prep space and state-of-the-art appliances. The spacious lounge also provides plenty of comfortable seating for guests to relax together and watch a movie. On the ground floor, there is also an en-suite double bedroom with air-con and a view of the pool.
Upstairs lies the master en-suite bedroom with a double bed and a serene decor, this bedroom has plenty of natural light and its own private terrace. There is a third en-suite bedroom upstairs with twin beds and its own balcony. The bedrooms and bathrooms have all been finished to a high standard, creating a private haven for guests to relax and get a good nights’ sleep.
Outside, a sparkling blue pool sits centre-stage among the large and perfectly manicured lawn. Guests will find plenty of sun lounges to relax on, and the large garden area is perfect for outdoor play. There is also a lovely shaded outdoor dining area and where guests can prepare and enjoy al fresco delicious meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner, prepared on the barbecue. Guests can then relax on one of the outdoor sofas with a drink as the sun goes down. There is also private parking for two cars if guests wish to hire a car. Praia da Falésia beach is located just 5km away, and the shops, bars and restaurants of Vilamoura are located very close by. With its impressive facilities, stunning views and peaceful surroundings, Villa Cistanca has everything guests need to relax in absolute tranquillity.

About the surrounding area of Villa CistancaThis fantastic villa sits in a peaceful and private residential neighbourhood, on the outskirts of Vilamoura, just a five-minute walk from the Aquashow water park! The nearest bus stop is 300m from the villa and 2.5km from the nearest shops.
A host of prestigious yachts & boats swarm the Marina, which spills onto a strip of stylish bars, locally renowned restaurants and a casino. Whether you are looking for a romantic or luxurious vacation, for water sports fans and golfers or for nature lovers and seasoned travellers, there is something for everyone. Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia - two alluringly sandy beaches, can also be found a short distance away from the villa.
Vilamoura has a fabulous reputation amongst golf enthusiasts and has a number of championship courses to choose from (Oceanico Old Course, Oceanico Laguna Course, Oceanico Millenium Course, Oceanico Pinhal Course, and Pestana Vila Sol Golf Course). Vilamoura also has over fifty tennis courts for you to choose from, as well as numerous water-sports centres scattered within the town; guests can enjoy anything from snorkelling to boat trips.
Guests will be truly spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a restaurant; the Algarve is known for its wonderful food and diverse cuisine, and there are countless restaurants in and around Vilamoura, for all price ranges. Be sure to visit Marufo 1 (famously known as the chicken shack), the number one spot for authentic Portuguese Piri Piri chicken! Vale De Lobo, an equally sought-after location, is also very close to Vilamoura and offers fantastic shopping, dining and activities.
The Roman ruins of Cerro da Vila are worth a visit, with the remains of two residences and baths, the atrium, dams, fishing stations and necropolis. There are several beaches nearby offering a selection of powdery sand beaches attracting travellers, swimmers, boating and fishing aficionados and waters sports enthusiasts. Guests can go on fishing adventures, underwater diving escapades, sunset cruises and quad bikes tours.

THE REGION
Vilamoura has been a glamorous town ever since Roman time. Its rich history is still palpable as you walk its streets, coming upon Roman Baths and ancient murals all around town. These days, Vilamoura is still a high-class destination although it has certainly kept up with the times. Yachts dock at the large marina and travellers galavant the seaside strip hopping between bars, restaurants and the dazzling casino.
The local championship courses naturally attract a crowd of golf enthusiasts as well, and there is a large selection of other sports to enjoy in the area (including those best played out in the water). There is certainly no need to ever be bored in Vilamoura, but if it’s ultimate relaxation you’re after you won’t be disappointed. The town is alluringly close to Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia, where the golden sand and hot Mediterranean sun is just about never-ending.

Best Suited For: All AgesThe lovely garden area provides plenty of space for children to play outdoors, and the pool will provide hours of splashy fun, with sun-loungers available for you to keep a close eye on the little ones.
The family-friendly environment of the Algarve means that children are welcomed wherever they go. There are plenty of children’s play areas and activities in Vilamoura, including golf, tennis, diving, canoeing, cycling and sailing boat rental. This villa is based very close to Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia, making it the perfect location for beach excursions.
There is the fantastic Zoomarine waterpark located close by in Guia; with several restaurants on the complex and plenty of green space to kick back, mums and dads can have a well-earned break while the kids amuse themselves on the big wheel, log flume and pirate ship - the ideal way to spend a day out. Slide and Splash, located in Estômbar, is full of spiralling water chutes and slides as well as river rapids and a giant jacuzzi. Aquashow another waterpark, located in Quarteira, also offers bird of prey and parrot shows, mini golf and a wax museum.
Visit Krazy World Zoo in Algoz, where there are not only animals to look at but lots of activities to get involved in too. Feeding times are always popular, as are the reptile shows. Kids can have a go at pony riding, play mini golf, take a dip in the tropical pools or enjoy some time at the little funfair. It is easy to spend a whole day at this popular attraction. For the speed demons, there is a fun go-karting centre located very close to Vilamoura!

Fabulous stay in Portugal
I stayed in Villa Cistanca in July 2018 with my family (6 adults & 1 baby). We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. The villa is exactly as described and comes with everything you need for your stay. It is extremely spacious inside and out and comes with three double bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The villa is approximately 10 minutes drive to Vilamoura, 5 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket and opposite the water park (walking distance). My sister hired extras for her baby from the company which were of good quality and inexpensive. I would highly recommend this villa

Outstanding!
Stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful villa. Fantastic space both inside and out. Each bedroom has an ensuite and there is air conditioning throughout. The patio and pool area is huge - shower, bbq area, dining table with 6 chairs, 6 sun loungers and a sofa with two additional armchairs all comfortably fitted. There is even a small garden area. The pool is really great also. A very secure place too with locks on all doors and windows and the from gate. Driveway parking with automatic gates was a bonus. I cannot fault the villa location.
