The apartment itself is elegantly decorated throughout, designed to make you as comfortable as possible and to make even the simplest moments of your holiday feel special. The front door opens into the main living space, all open plan with floor-to-ceiling glass windows making this bright room a delightful place to be. The kitchen is full equipped with all the utensils and appliances you need to prepare delicious breakfasts and light lunches, keeping you going through the day and preparing your appetite for a fabulous dinner at one of the resort restaurants. Room service is also available from the main reception if you are too comfortable to leave!
The apartments two bedrooms are both spacious and bright, with plenty of storage for you to un-pack and comfy beds for you to get a good night sleep.
Each of the bedrooms comes with fluffy robes and slippers, pool towels, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries, making packing your suitcase a little bit easier.
With access to the large, shared pool with its casual veranda restaurant, you can enjoy long days in the sun. A culinary delight, Portugal’s beautiful cuisine and outstanding wines is a big reason so many tourists come to this area. Within the resort alone there are four fabulous restaurants and two bars, with something so suit every occasion and to satisfy everyone’s tastes. Executive Chef Rui Silvestre and his fantastic team have created the showpiece restaurant Vistas, which only recently received its first Michelin Star and was described as a kitchen of great finesse! Vistas is the perfect place for a special occasion, or you can visit The Grill for a light dish or the poolside Veranda for some casual dining. There is even a sommelier, Nuno Pires to take you on a tour of your palate, with a wide selection of Portuguese and international wines.

• North Course ⇒ This Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course has been challenging players of all abilities and handicaps from across the world since 2007. Set against the backdrop of the Serra do Caldeirão mountains to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the south, the 7182 yard, par 72 course blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
• South Course ⇒ The second course at Monte Rei, The South, will also be a Jack Nicklaus Signature course. The design has been completed by the Nicklaus team, following Mr Nicklaus’ site visit, and construction will soon begin.
• Golf Academy ⇒ Under the expert guidance of our PGA Professionals and benefiting from our state of art facilities, you’ll soon improve and refine all aspects of your game. Monte Rei Golf and Country Club offers an unrivalled teaching and practice facility for all of its members, guests and visitors.
