If you are looking for a relaxing and luxurious family villa in a convenient location, then Villa Elmen is everything you could want. This beautiful newly-built villa is based in Areeiro, under ten minutes away from both Loulé and Almancil. With three bedrooms, impressive facilities and a private pool, this villa is the perfect holiday home for families, or even groups of friends and multiple couples! Just moments away from the sought-after area of Quinta Do Lago, this villa is completely idyllic.

This stylish and elegant villa boasts an array of wonderful features, facilities and furnishings including air conditioning throughout, underfloor heating, flat screen TV and DVD player, and a WII game console. The interior is contemporary and welcoming, with wonderful living spaces and a very well-equipped modern kitchen. Sliding glass doors allow natural light to stream into the kitchen and provides direct access to the outside dining area, next to the pool. The spacious lounge is the perfect setting for everyone to get together and watch a late-night movie. There is also a bedroom with twin beds and a private bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms, each with double beds and private bathrooms. Each of the four bedrooms demonstrates this same loving attention to detail, with ornate lighting and décor, beautiful sets of furniture and of course, fabulously bright and welcoming spaces.

Outside, the glistening pool certainly sits centre stage! The terrace offers plenty of room for families, with room to play and splash in the pool, whilst adults can enjoy the serene ambience from a comfy sun lounger. The whole group can come together for meals under the shaded al-fresco dining area, and enjoy cooking fresh food on the barbecue. There is also a separate outdoor seating area with an L-shaped sofa, perfect for those pre-dinner drinks. The plot is completely private and enclosed all around, so guests can truly relax. With its impressive facilities and ideal location, Villa Elmen has everything guests need to relax in absolute luxury.

Located in the peaceful area of Areeiro, a short distance from from both Loulé and Almancil as well as neighbouring resort towns of Quinta Do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura, the location remains calm and quiet, making it ideal for a little outdoor activity, be that a peaceful stroll or even a bike ride. We recommend hiring bikes nearby and taking a scenic trip around the neighbourhood, including to the world-famous golf courses just short ride away! Villa Elmen is located just 2.5km from the nearest supermarket, 8km from the nearest beach in Vale Do Lobo, and 16km from the city of Faro.

Once an expanse of pine forests and empty beaches, Vale de Lobo and Quinta Do Lago have been transformed into the height of luxury over the last 50 years. With two 18-hole championship golf courses, the Royal and the Ocean, Vale de Lobo is the dream destination for any aspiring golfer.

Outside of golf, the Algarve is an excellent destination for other hobbyists. With a vast coastline that meets the powerful Atlantic Ocean, Portugal is a true paradise for the keen surfer, or indeed even those looking to try if for the first time, with plenty of surfing schools all along the calmer sections of the coast. And even for those less enamoured with surfing, the beaches of Portugal are well worth a visit for their beautifully clear waters.

The Algarve, the southernmost region of Portugal, is famous for its picturesque scenes of vast blue skies casting a warming glow on the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean, with untouched bays framed by jagged Limestone rocks at every turn. For those who enjoy the great outdoors, Almancil's location near the Ria Formosa Natural Park provides ample opportunities for hiking, bird-watching and appreciating the area's diverse ecosystem. The park is a haven for wildlife and you will spot various bird species and other animals in their natural habitat while hiking, cycling or boating.

Almancil is conveniently located, making it an excellent base for exploring the Algarve. In the nearby resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, guests will find world-class golf, wellness facilities and even tennis courts for the whole family to enjoy with a little healthy competition! The private pool in the garden offers a prime space for children to have fun and tire themselves out, while you look on from the comfort of a sun lounger, ensuring you have an opportunity to relax whilst keeping an eye on the little ones. A cot is also available upon request.

The family-friendly environment of the Algarve means that children are welcomed wherever they go. There are plenty of children’s play areas and activities in Vale do Lobo, including golf, tennis, diving, canoeing, cycling and sailing boat rental. On your doorstep, you will find endless opportunities for an active day out Iberian sun, while the location on one of the best beach areas of the Algarve ensures you can enjoy a traditional family day trip to the beach, where snorkelling, boating excursions and thrilling watersports are all on offer.

There is the fantastic Zoomarine waterpark located close by in Guia; with several restaurants on the complex and plenty of green space to kick back, mums and dads can have a well-earned break while the kids amuse themselves on the big wheel, log flume and pirate ship: the ideal way to spend a day out. Slide and Splash, located in Estômbar, is full of spiralling water chutes and slides as well as river rapids and a giant jacuzzi. Aquashow another waterpark, located in Quarteira, also offers bird of prey and parrot shows, mini golf and a wax museum.

Visit Krazy World Zoo in Algoz, where there are not only animals to look at but lots of activities to get involved in too. Feeding times are always popular, as are the reptile shows. Kids can have a go at pony riding, play mini golf, take a dip in the tropical pools or enjoy some time at the little funfair. It is easy to spend a whole day at this popular attraction. For the speed demons, there is a fun go-karting centre located very close to the villa!

Security deposit €500 charged to the client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to a full inspection.

Pool towels included? Not included in the rental price, extra €3 per towel to to be paid with the balance.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included.
Minimum stay 4 nights during low season.

    Perfect house for several people. Has everything we need and is spacious. Private areas and super garage. Easy and quick communication. Kitchen is great for cooking, and there is a nice breakfast area by the pool

    Perfect location for 4 persons and more. Everything was clean and the pool was stunning, the only negative think was the low water pressure and the dogs from the neighbor.

    The house is lovely with a good selection of kitchen utilities. The bedrooms are comfortable, spacious and en-suites are a good size. There is a good restaurant within 10 minutes walk. The only down side is that it is 30 minutes away from the nice beaches and difficult to park a car essential.

    Villa Elmen is situated about 20 minuets from Faro airport, between the lovely traditional town of Loule and Almancil, Almancil is literally within nipping distance and is the place to find your closest supermarkets etc. We wanted a three bedroom property where all the bedrooms were nice and the villa really delivers on this, all bedrooms are ensuite, all are spacious, perfect for a group of six adults where everyone wants good facilities. The property is beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped, fully air conditioned and with all the comforts of home. Outside the high standards continue, great pool which is very well maintained, very comfortable soft seating area and excellent barbecue which we used most evenings. There is excellent parking for your hire car, either on the gated drivewayin the garage which is under the property. I would say this is a property best enjoyed with a car, we seemed to be handy for everything we wanted to do, beach, marina, Faro old town and the driving was straightforward, parking was never a problem and we could have explored further afield should we have been there for a longer stay. There are a couple of lovely looking restaurants within walking distance, we didn’t try them as we chose to have lunches out and evenings by the pool. The property is looked after by an excellent management company, it’s them you deal with for the booking and I would rate them first class, they are professional and helpful and work to very high standards, I would be more than happy to book through them again.
