Welcome to Casa Bussola, a beautiful modern six-bedroom villa located on the outskirts of Carvoeiro. The villa itself is set in a quiet residential neighbourhood, just a few minutes' drive away from the town centre.
With bright white-washed walls and modern architecture, Casa Bussola is the perfect destination for a glamorous villa break. The striking modern design casts a striking presence against the more traditional residences that surround it. Inside, clean modern decor invites you to make yourself at home alongside clean contemporary decor.
A large open-plan living space is yours to make your own during your stay. Your comfortable living room has plenty of seating that surrounds a large screen TV. Behind the living space sits a spacious combined kitchen and diner. The kitchen features all the amenities you need to create dishes the whole group can enjoy using around the dinner table.
Six comfortable bedrooms are yours to choose from, each dressed in iconic Mediterranean blues and whites. Five bedrooms are located across the villa’s two levels, comprising of a mixture of single and double beds, and all have their own en-suite bathroom. The sixth bedroom, located on the upper level, is slightly smaller with just a single bed within and also doesn’t have its own bathroom facilities.
On the upper level, a spacious wrap-around terrace provides space to relax and take in views of the surrounding neighbourhood and landscape. A second terrace is located on ground level which contains further recreational spaces.
An additional dining table and a barbecue area are located on the lower terrace, perfect for casual dining in the fresh air. Here, you’ll also find a large private swimming pool surrounded by comfortable sun loungers.
No matter how long your stay at Casa Bussola is, you can rest assured that every convenience is taken care of so you can truly rest and relax.

The villa was completely renovated in 2021 and is now available for rent. The villa is modern and bright and very comfortable. The location is quiet and not far from supermarkets, beaches, and Carvoeiro.

About the surrounding area of Casa BussolaCasa Bussola is a popular choice for holidaymakers seeking a tranquil location just a stone’s throw away from towns and amenities. With Carvoeiro and Portimão located right on your doorstep, there’s lots to see and do surrounding your villa.
In the immediate area, there’s little to see as it’s largely residential properties. However, just a short drive away is the centre of Carvoeiro which has plenty of bars, shops, restaurants and amenities like grocery stores. While it is possible to walk into Carvoeiro, the area is quite hilly with steep inclines in places, so we recommend renting a car during your stay. While in town you can walk along the Carvoeiro Boardwalk, a scenic walk along the coastal cliffs where you can take in the beautiful sea views.
Along the coast, you’ll also find a selection of beautiful beaches, the easiest of which for you to access being Praia de Carvoeiro. With clean golden sands, calm waters and lots of surrounding facilities, Praia de Carvoeiro is a popular choice amongst families in particular. Other beaches in the area include Praia do Paraiso, which is just a short walk away from Praia de Carvoeiro. Praia do Paraiso, however, is located at the base of the surrounding cliffs and is accessed via a staircase, so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

THE REGION
Carvoeiro has always been known for its beautiful coastline, adorned with cliffs, coves and incredible sandy beaches stretching all the way along to Albufeira. These days, however, there is a lot more going on in this charming town than just waves hitting the sand (although that’s certainly still a highlight).
In the past few years Carvoeiro has developed to accommodate for the growing number of tourists who are curious to see what the fuzz is all about, and the town continues to get livelier and livelier each summer. While it has kept its character and remains exquisitely peaceful, there are also plenty of modern amenities and loads of exciting activities in the area. The only thing Carvoeiro won’t provide is a good party, but there are other parts of the Algarve which are perfect for that.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesCasa Bussola is a firm favourite amongst families planning on visiting Carvoeiro. At the villa itself, kids love having lots of space to play and relax with their friends and family. Families also find it easier to manage children on holiday from a home-like space where children have lots of space to relax and play, causing less disruption to their established routines.
The villa has a strong internet connection throughout, which children can connect their devices to, allowing them to play their favourite games and stream media whenever they want. When not using their devices kids can watch shows using the large TV in the living room. Above all, kids adore the sizable swimming pool located out on the villa’s terrace.
Heading out from the villa, kids can visit several of the nearby beaches like Praia de Carvoeiroand Praia de Vale Covo. To the west of the villa, as you head into Portimao, Praia Grande and Praia da Angrinha overlook the Portimão marina. Once you’ve chosen your beach for the day, kids can play in the sands and swim in the sea with ease beneath the Mediterranean sun.
Besides beach visits, there are lots of things to see and fun-filled attractions to visit nearby. Just ten minutes away from Casa Bussola is Castelo de São João do Arade, a mediaeval fort located along the coast that is sure to spark kids’ imaginations.
Also just 15 minutes away from Casa Bussola is Slide & Splash, a popular water park featuring lots of slides and pools for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Casa Bussola
Lovely villa but missing equipment essential for our stay IE 5 wine glasses for a group of 11 told it was as it was and no more would be provided! No full length mirror in any room at all! Don't like to moan but this is basic.
