Puesta de Sol - this modern and homely apartment is located in the exclusive and sought after resort of Hacienda. It is a spacious apartment within an established community of the resort which boasts fantastic facilities spread across an impressive area of twenty two acres. With access to the Kids Club, which is just minutes away, two infinity swimming pools, gym, classes, as well as your own private jacuzzi at the apartment - it’s shaping up like a glorious holiday ! Whether it’s basking in the Mexican sun and relaxing by your own jacuzzi or day trips around Cabo and what it has to offer - it is your perfect base.
You and your group will have a reign of three bedrooms in total, with three bathrooms to ensure maximum comfort for all of the guests. Start your days by grabbing coffee and breakfast in an inviting, open plan kitchen, fully equipped to the highest standard, with granite countertops. You can enjoy your food at the breakfast bar seating three, a large dining table for six with a gorgeous multi drop chandelier above, spacious lounge or the generous outside space on the terrace, with a stunning view of the ocean - the world (or your apartment) is your oyster ! The furnishings in each room are modern and relaxed, with contemporary fittings and fixtures creating the perfect background for relaxing or entertainment. There is a flat screen TV in the lounge, satellite TV and a fabulous sound system which feeds into the outside - as you will probably be spending a chunk of your time here, it is a seamless extension to your living quarters, offering many comfy spots to relax with a glass to hand.
This apartment easily sleeps eight since you have a king sized bed master, as well as another king size and and also a bedroom with two queen beds. They all have spacious bathrooms, large TVs and offer plenty of storage. There is an additional bunk bed room which includes a half bathroom off of the entry. About the surrounding area of Apartment Puesta de SolPuesta de Sol is situated in an exclusive and safe (gated and secured) resort of Hacienda, which is set on an exclusive stretch of the fantastic Medano Beach, offering you some exceptionally stunning views.
Hacienda is an oasis of peace but just in case you are after some buzz and excitement - the famous Cabo San Lucas is only a short walk away, offering a vast number of perfect spots for eating out, drinking, shopping and having fun! Despite being almost in the centre of Cabo, Hacienda occupies a huge 22 acre land and offers truly great services and facilities for its guests.
Relax at the beach club, by one of the two infinity swimming pools, taking in the view and lapping up the sunshine or head to the spacious gym to keep up your workout regime while on holiday. You can also pick from a range of classes (yoga?) or visit the spa. You don’t need to go far to get some delicious food, traditional Mexican food at the resort's finest Cocina y Cantina is awaiting the guests with an offer of some oceanfront view. You can sample fabulously fresh regional dishes and head for drinks at the Palapa Bar later. You will always have a 24h concierge to answer all your questions and address any issues. They can book a large range of activities and Hacienda is in fact a fully-equipped beach activities centre for kayaking or paddleboarding.
The resort offers the best views of the Land’s End and its arch in particular - due to its positioning as the most southern point in Baja California. Worth seeing it close up and you might come across some relaxing sea lions but if you’re thinking of swimming - stick to the Cortes sea side, as the Pacific side is known for some tricky currents.
Most fishing and sailing charter companies are headquartered on the Marina, but Medano Beach is the best place to find water-based activities such as wave runners to stand up paddle surfboards and parasailing tours, allowing adventurous types to experience incredible views of Land's End from hundreds of feet in the air. You can also go for motorised hang-gliding flyovers of all the local landmarks. If you are into arts then make sure you come over in Jan/Feb to attend Todos Santos Art Festival, which offers it all, dance shows, poetry reading, painting exhibitions and many more.

Tons of swimming and splashing options here, two of the resort’s infinity pools and a very family friendly beach - the young ones will be over the moon and spoilt for choice! Hacienda’s fantastic Kids Club is known for its passionate and dedicated staff and no two days are the same here, from learning Spanish to arts and crafts, dancing, games, Wii Fit as well as foosball and ping pong.
At the beach, you can get into kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkelling (equipment available) - depending on skill level and age. Venturing outside of Hacienda resort, there are plenty of diverse eateries for family meals and little shops, perfect for souvenirs - such as Mexican instruments for example.
If you are after a change of scenery but still want to stick to the beach then Cannery Beach is picturesque and quiet. Some vendors just off the sand, are selling some great Mexican street foods, as well as beach toys and drinks for the parents. If you fancy surfing, either just for the children or for the whole family, you can book a half day or a whole day of catching waves with instructors! Hop aboard a pirate ship in Cabo for a 2-hour sunset sail through the stunning Sea of Cortez, while enjoying a delicious dinner. You will be entertained by a crew of rowdy pirates, who dance, chant, and climb amongst the ropes of the massive ship. Sea shanties and other antics aside, you’ll learn about Cabo’s maritime history from pirates’ perspective — and perhaps even learn some lingo! Small animal lovers will appreciate Wild Canyon´s Kingdom, where they can have a full day interacting with exotic species from around the world! Tour around with a biologist and see the stations of the beloved Iguanas, love-birds, prairie dogs, macaws and several other species that have found home at this sanctuary. Don’t leave without a photo of a crocodile!
