From the resort, a wooden walkway extends out over the blue-azure of the ocean, leading to the elegant front door of your own private overwater bungalow. An entranceway leads through to the bedroom and living space. Understated, the interiors pull inspiration from natural surroundings, with soft pastel colours and natural woods, all knitting together to create a truly tranquil atmosphere. Furnished with a large king-size bed, recessed reading ledge and a comfortable sofa, there are plenty of spots to sit and relax. Mornings are best spent in bed, watching the sunrise over the ocean in front of you; there are few experiences that are more relaxing! A dressing area with a desk and ample storage separate the bedroom and bathroom so you can pack away your belongings. Beautifully designed, the bathroom offers complete elegance, with an oversized terrazzo tub for two to soak in together surrounded by serene views.
What overwater dreams are made of, Villa Male offers two levels of sundeck where you can sit back, rest and restore. As sea turtles swim beneath you and graceful mantas glide past, you can lay back on a daybed, full embracing the serenity of this mesmerising setting. Stairs lead down from the deck into the ocean below, so you can swim as often as you choose, easing your muscles in the warm waters.
There is so much to do both on land and water around this Maldivian lagoon. The resort is adult-only, so you can expect complete tranquillity as you relax by the infinity pool and dine under the starlit sky.
