Built in 1696, this unique masterpiece of late Baroque architecture, adjacent to the beautiful Medieval city of Asolo, is an authentic villa typical of the Veneto region which oozes elegance, sophistication and history. In May of 1987 the Queen Mother enjoyed her lunch at "The villa with pastel coloured stuccoes and walls", immersed in lush scents of her favourite flower - the centenary roses!

Set in the rolling, luscious hills of Northern Italy, indeed, in ‘The City of a Hundred Horizons’ famous for its hilltop setting, Villa Rinaldi enjoys a truly spectacular location. At the end of the approach along the winding lane, you arrive at the majestic garden entrance and vast grounds enveloped by an ancient stone wall. An avenue of flowers brings you to the main entrance.

Beyond the threshold, the interior is utterly unique. Enjoying both the character of the traditional, classical décor and the comfort of modern upgrades, each room is a timeless work of art.

In the main building there is a total of three living areas - one small and one larger are on the ground floor plus the grand living room can be found on the first floor. The lounges of Villa Rinaldi are truly spectacular, with remarkable décor, traditional touches and a thoroughly comfortable feel. Despite the classical design, there are multiple modern touches, including WiFi throughout the property. The ornate dining room sits alongside the two ground-floor lounges and offers an exquisite location for a meal with the whole group. The kitchen is also on the ground floor, and exudes a more traditional character, with a large fireplace and wooden furniture. A perfect place for breakfast. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.

Up the first of the staircases, on the first floor, alongside the grand living room, there are two of the seven bedrooms. The pink room has a fabulous set of painted ceiling beams, alongside a delightful wooden dresser and beautiful stucco feature above the bed. The white room has similar stunning features, as well as a charming fitted wardrobe. Both rooms have a seating area and large, traditional windows. The further five bedrooms are found on the second floor. Firstly, there is the master bedroom. Indeed, more like an apartment, this room has several fully stocked bookshelves for your reading pleasure, armchairs, classical wallpaper and a luxurious French-style bed in the centre of it. The en-suite features more interesting tiles and patterns. There are two more single bedrooms, another double and finally one twin room, completing the main building bedrooms. Both single rooms and the double room are simply designed with classical touches. The twin room is more traditional, with wooden furniture and a large desk. It also has an en-suite bathroom with beautiful painted tiles, where the other second-floor rooms share a large family bathroom. The twin bedrooms and double rooms all have air conditioning.

Villa's annexe is set over two floors, with a living area on the ground-floor and a bedroom, bathroom, studio and kitchenette on the second. It is ideal for those seeking a little more privacy, without sacrificing any comfort.

Just as intricate and beautiful as the interior, the exterior facilities of Villa Rinaldi offer all the grandeur of the house itself. The ornate wire gates welcome you into a garden bursting with life. Stone steps and hillside path lead you up to the stunning private pool, adjoined by a changing room with shower and toilet facilities. At 16m x 8m there’s plenty of room for everyone to join the fun, and even for a few morning laps before an al fresco breakfast on the terrace!

Dotted with flowers, avenues and sculptures you can truly lose yourself among the olive trees and the rosebushes, dine under the stars at the traditional stone table, or simply sip a glass of local prosecco on one of the many terraces in the array of fantastic chairs and sofas.

With your very own potting shed, expansive lawn and terraces and of course, the beautiful pool, you’ll feel right at home and thoroughly entertained throughout your stay. There’s even a chapel on site!

Despite enjoying such a privileged position clad in the hillside, Villa Rinaldi is in fact just a stone's throw away from the centre of Asolo and in a beautiful part of Italy for experiencing all kinds of food, music and history.
