Only 2 km from Villa Salica there is a small country rail station where guests can catch the train.

Things to see and to do in Tuscany:

PISTOIA
This is a fascinating medieval city a with a beautiful Piazza del Duomo. Small ancient streets, medieval towers and palaces offer guests a rare glimpse of old times.

FLORENCE
Michelangelo's masterpiece, the magnificent Duomo and Giotto Belltower, noble and elegant Renaissance palaces, Medici’s heritage and Benozzo Gozzoli Chapel, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo, Palazzo Pitti and Uffizi Museum are all in this city. There are so many more treasures that this city and its surroundings have to offer.

PISA
Guests will want to have a camera ready for the iconic leaning Tower, Baptistry and striking Duomo in the Miracles Square.

LUCCA
Lucca has magnificent 16th-century ramparts enclosing a maze of cobbled streets, elegant Piazzas, renaissance palaces, the home of Puccini and a certain taste of France. Elisa Baciocchi Bonaparte, Napoleon’s sister, lived here, and her influence gives Lucca a sense of little Paris.

SIENA
A UNESCO world heritage medieval city with its shell-shaped cobbled il Campo, turreted Torre del Mangia and the colourful pageantry of "Il Palio" during July and August is a must see.

AREZZO
This is a beautiful medieval city, and guests will not want to miss the antiques market in the historical centre of the city.

MASSA-CARRARA/GROSSETO/LIVORNO
This is the Tuscan seaside. Tuscany has interesting destinations near the sea: Versilia Coast, Etruscan Coast and Maremma are some of the places where guests can sight see and relax.
