Experience a dream holiday at Casa da Sogno, a villa in Sicily on the charming island of Favignana. This newly built villa with sea views was constructed with local materials, including sandstone. Set in a Mediterranean garden of 15,000 square metres, the villa includes a pool, fitness area and outdoor kitchen. Fire up the barbecue and dine under the stars.
The villa, designed as two separate living quarters for independent or combined use, features a contemporary “isolano” style and uber modern décor. Air-conditioning and underfloor heating guarantee your comfort no matter the season. Each of the two suites has a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a kitchen, and one suite has a second twin en-suite bedroom. The large central covered terrace is perfect for al-fresco meals.
Situated between the most beautiful beaches on Favignana, the villa is just a 15-minute drive or around a 5-minute cycle ride from Cala Rossa and Cala Azzurra. Both of these popular beaches feature golden sand, crystal-clear water ideal for swimming in and stunning scenery.
Also nearby is Bue Marino Beach, which can be reached by car in around 5 minutes or on foot via quiet country roads in around 20 minutes. This is one of the most striking spots on the island, with impressive cliffs sheltering the little cove, soft sand perfect for sunbathing and calm water superb for swimming. A sandwich shop sells delicious tuna sandwiches which the island is well-known for and a summer beach bar serves a selection of drinks.
Other gorgeous beaches nearby include Lido Burrone, Calamoni and Marasolo, which are all less than 15 minutes away.
5km away sits the little seaside village of Favignana. From here you can catch various boat tours around the island as well as the ferry to Trapani, which takes around half an hour.

About the surrounding area of Casa Da SognoCasa Da Sogno enjoys an idyllic position on the island of Favignana, which can be found off the west coast of Sicily in between Trapani and Marsala. Unspoilt and boasting outstanding natural beauty, Favignana is made up of jagged clifftops and glorious beaches, some just a short drive away.
The villa is located 1km from the glistening coastline, with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding countryside. Bue Marino Beach is just over a 5-minute drive away or around a 20-minute walk along dusty country roads. Sheltered by time-worn cliffs and with sand and crystal-clear water, it's a serene spot to spend the day sunbathing and swimming. There's a sandwich shop and summer beach bar here too for picnics on the beach or a cocktail before heading home.
Two of the most beautiful beaches on Favignana can also be found nearby: Cala Azzurra and Cala Rossa. Cala Azzurra is an open stretch of beach featuring sugary sand and azure sea ideal for swimming in. It can be reached by car in around 15 minutes or on foot or hire bikes and cycle there in around 5 minutes.
A ten-minute drive north takes you to Cala Rossa. Here there are summer beach bars/cafes and smoothed rock where you can set up camp and lay down your towel. It's a popular cove with calm water and stunning scenery.
Labirinto Di Cave at Cala Rossa features huge corridors of high cliffs and a labyrinth of caverns crafted by the island's quarrymen. It's an impressive site that's not to be missed during your holiday.
Lido Burrone is 3km along the coast and is one of the largest and busiest beaches on the island. There are sun loungers and deckchairs available to rent in summer and a fantastic selection of places to eat and drink.
The village of Favignana can be reached by car in 15 minutes. Baroque buildings, quality restaurants and an ancient castle await, as well as a pretty harbour and sandy beach. Various boat tours around the island depart from the village, including snorkelling excursions. The ferry to Trapani also leaves from the port, taking around 30 minutes to reach the main Sicilian shore and making for a wonderful day trip.

I fell in love with the property's location as it sits between two of the most attractive sea sites on Favignana island.
Are there any interesting stories in its history?
The property was originally a bare field, used improperly as landfill and a pasture ground for cattle. Now reclaimed, we have worked very hard to build this beautiful house and garden.

Magnificent, sublime, paradise!
My family and I spent one night in mid-September at Casa Da Sogno. We fell under the spell of this dwelling as soon as we saw it online and booked it in a second! Upon arrival it exceeded our expectations! The villa is magnificent with superb bedrooms and sublime bathrooms. The swimming pool is very sweet. The owner, Giacomo, greeted us warmly and we immediately felt at home here. He left us several items for breakfast! I completely recommend Casa Da Sogno! It is magical and paradise.

Dream House
There are no words to describe this fantastic villa! A huge park, two neighboring apartments, separated by a veranda with a beautiful center table, enjoying beautiful breezes, where you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the utmost peace and tranquility with a splendid view. The apartments have huge windows, designer furnishings with all the comforts and attention to detail. Fantastic patio to relax on, possibility of a barbecue in the park area, and a very nice pool. We had a fantastic stay and even though the beaches of Favignana are beautiful we could not wait to spend time in the house each day. A really fantastic lugo. Mr. James was friendly and efficient, always available during the holiday and cooked excellent dinners. An unforgettable holiday, definitely will be returning to this paradise.

We had a great stay at Casa Da Sogno. The property is beautiful, the house is comfortable and the location is wonderful. Giacomo, who runs the house, is a wonderful person who goes out of his way to help guests and without him, our experience would not have been as incredible as it was.

Casa Da Sogno is full of all the facilities and amenities you have at home, and you hope to find on your vacation. The house is very comfortable and furnished with a modern taste, it's amazing! The fact that you have two separate units allows you to have more privacy, while the outdoor dining area is convivial. The olive garden is a feast for the eyes, so charming and relaxing. The sea view fills your soul.. we cannot wait to come back! Casa Da Sogno is very clean and neat, the style of the house is extremely refined and painstakingly detailed, well integrated with the landscape. We would like to thank Giacomo, the housekeeper, a really nice, lovely and super caring person.

Casa Da Sogno, how to begin ... the first word that came into our mind was ... Waouh !!! What a nice place, even nicer than on the picture we had seen and that was already beautiful. The second reaction was to take a deep breath of the fresh salty air of the sea to fill our body with it and with the various spices and flavors the island is offering you. In an instant you feel relaxed and you know already that your holidays look more than promising. Aside from the wonderful environment, the houses are really nice and well equiped with everything you may need. Design, furniture and decoration are completing the picture. Finally we have kept the best for the end: Giacomo! He will be your guide and help you where possible from the booking to the tours and secrets of Favignana through a clear, accurate and passionate knowledge of the island in addition to nice restaurants and shops! This is a perfect place for a relaxed family get-together
8 of our family, aged between 7 and forty something, spent a most enjoyable week together in Casa Da Sogno. In the villas we had all the comforts and equipment we could possibly need. The grounds themselves with the gardens, barbecue and pool would have been enough for anyone. But with the generous help of Giacomo and hired bikes, we were able to explore much more of the beautiful island, and the seas around it, and the food and cooking of the area. We cannot recommend it more highly.

Luxury vacation!
We've just left the property and already miss it! Our stay was peaceful and comfortable in such a large, luxurious and perfectly equipped house. Giacomo, the homekeeper, took care of us every day as well as the owner. It is a little corner of paradise: mediterranean garden, swimming pool, barbeque area, etc. We highly recommend Casa Da Sogno and are planning to come back next year!!

Casa Da Sogno is a special place where you can spend your holiday. We stayed there with our little daughter and the atmosphere during the stay was really magical. Casa Da Sogno is luxury and very comfortable, a beautiful house with all the comforts you can imagine, surrounded by a beautiful garden with unique plants and a vast expanse of lawn. Everything was perfect and we did not suffer any lack... impeccable cleanliness and accessories for every need. We felt at home. There are also pool and barbecue area, so we spent a few days at home without feeling the need to get out!
