Overview
With the bells of Trinità dei Monti romantically ringing, sip a chilled glass of Frascati whilst relaxing on your panoramic rooftop terrace with the most glorious views down to the Spanish steps.
In a wonderful setting in central Rome, Cupido Terrace is a stunning fifth floor apartment just perfect for a honeymoon or unique city getaway. The interiors feature rich colours and beautiful furnishings as well as air-conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout. The sumptuous bedroom has its own marble shower room, the lounge has doors leading to the terrace whilst the dining area offers more exquisite views, perhaps to be enjoyed over a light meal or espresso prepared in the little kitchen.
Yet on warm days you’ll yearn to spend most of your time outside on your very own spacious terrace, lounging in the sunshine, relaxing with a good book or enjoying al-fresco aperitivi before heading out to explore all that Rome has to offer.
This is such a grand neighbourhood, home not only to the Spanish steps, loved by visitors from across the world, but you can also admire the 17th century Fontana della Barcaccia and a museum dedicated to the romantic poets, Keats and Shelley.
Not to mention streets filled with high-end designer boutiques, charming art galleries and of course inviting restaurants – the concierge will be able to recommend the best.
The rest of the city awaits from its historic sights and museums to its public parks, ancient bridges and authentic neighbourhoods. Be inspired by Fellini’s La Dolce Vita at the Trevi fountain or book a tour of the incredible Vatican city. You could even hop on a train for a day further afield on a visit to the grand Villa d’Este in Tivoli and its Renaissance gardens or explore the idyllic village of Orvieto in the Umbrian hills.
Return to Rome and soak up the evening ambience, indulge in classic Roman cuisine, take a night tour of the Colosseum or simply relax back on your vast terrace and watch the sun setting over this incredible Italian city.

Location
About the surrounding area of Cupido TerraceCupido Terrace enjoys a central location in the grand city of Rome just a few strides away from the world-famous Spanish steps.
The apartment can be found on the fifth floor of an annexe building whilst the communal breakfast buffet is served in the main building around the corner. Step out of the entrance hall and you are surrounded by high-end designer shops and the charming bustle of Piazza di Spagna with its beautiful baroque fountain, Fontana della Barcaccia. Climb the famous steps as you look up to the incredible Trinità dei Monti in this breathtaking part of Rome.
The neighbourhood is a fine place to stay, not just because of the tourist sights and upmarket boutiques but also for its little art galleries, restaurants, museums and narrow pedestrianised lanes with grand shuttered buildings.
Stroll ten minutes to the Trevi fountain, visit the Pantheon or wander across to the Tiber river with its boat trips and ancient bridges including Ponte Fabrizio. Discover Rome’s authentic neighbourhoods such as Trastevere with its cobbled lanes, markets, squares and the amazing Basilica di Santa Maria.
Spend time in some of Rome’s impressive green spaces including the romantic Villa Borghese gardens, just a 10-minute walk away, where you can explore the many hectares of parkland and hire rowing boats on the pretty lake. Take a tour of the Vatican Gardens, dating as far back as the 6th century, combined with a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica of course.
The Colosseum is of course one of the main highlights of Rome and experience the heart of the ancient Roman empire as you wander around the incredible Forum Romanum.
If you feel like a day away from the city buzz, hire a car or take the train to Orvieto, a stunning medieval town in the Umbrian hills with a magnificent cathedral and excellent wines. Alternatively, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Villa d’Este in Tivoli is a Renaissance masterpiece with the most exquisite Italian gardens.
