A striking sight amongst the olive groves, vineyards and narrow lanes of the Valle d'Itria countryside close to the coast is contemporary Casa Bianca. This sleek, 'floating' villa is a gorgeous example of steel and glass design and sleeps up to eight people in comfort and style.
Casa Bianca's rural location gives you total quiet in which to appreciate the idyllic scenery. The roof terrace offers peaceful views over the unspoilt landscape and out to the azure sea in the distance. The charming coastal town of Polignano a Mare is just 15 minutes away by car.
One of the three bedrooms at Casa Bianca has two sets of bunk beds; which makes this villa ideal for a larger family or two groups. The two double bedrooms have a similar look and feel, with plenty of light and a range of quirky retro accessories.
This mix of modern, retro and vintage is a theme that continues throughout the villa. Clean lines and pieces of designer furniture contrast beautifully with features like the indoor tropical garden and delicate, draping curtains in the ground-floor living/dining space. An extensive art and design library and custom artworks add even more personality. Slide back the floor-to-ceiling glass doors to let the magical atmosphere of your lush, tree-dotted gardens flow through on the breeze.
There's another stylish living space on the first floor for chilling out and taking in the views. On cooler evenings, sit back and watch the changing colours of the sky over the sea as flames flicker in the hanging fireplace. Then head to the roof terrace for snuggled-up star gazing.
The 40m infinity pool is most certainly the star of the outside space, with no better way of passing balmy afternoons than with a refreshing dip. Although al fresco meals under the wisteria and jasmine-covered pergola by a rustic trullo are hard to beat too. There's even a traditional pizza oven for making your own delicious pizzas.
With the countryside all around and the coast easy to reach, Casa Bianca has it all when it comes to location. Historic Valle d'Itria towns like Alberobello and Locorotondo are around a 40-minute drive away, and the sandy beaches at Monopoli and Bari are even closer.

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa BiancaCasa Bianca is surrounded by typical Valle d'Itria countryside, with the landscape featuring rambling olive groves, vineyards and quiet, stone-lined lanes. Get close to the sights and sounds of the picturesque area on long walks and bike rides.
You can see the sea from around the villa's extensive grounds - and reach it in just 15 minutes by car. Drive to the town of Polignano a Mare and relax on the pebbled stretch at Lama Monachile/Cala Porto between dips in the beautiful water. This beach sits just under the old town, bordered by an ancient Roman bridge, with cafes and restaurants nearby for refreshments.
Polignano a Mare itself is an old town built on limestone cliffs. Stroll along cobbled streets and discover the laid-back atmosphere of the main square. Balconata sul Mare is the best vantage point for stunning views over the sea. There are also plenty of shops and amenities in Polignano a Mare for when you need groceries and other essentials.
In just 20 minutes you can be exploring pretty Monopoli. It too offers beaches, with Cala Porta Vecchia being a popular place to lay a towel down on the sand. This beach is found in the old town; a charming area of whitewashed Baroque buildings, quaint alleyways and buzzing piazzas.
Other lovely places for day trips within a 45-minute drive include Bari, and the 'white city' of Ostuni. Also visit some of the Valle d'Itria towns deep in the countryside. Alberobello is a particular must-see, with its abundance of trulli creating a fairytale-esque atmosphere. And Locorotondofor the hilltop circular structure that is its historic centre.

Best Suited For: All AgesThe coastal towns of Polignano a Mare and Monopoli are within a 20-minute drive and are perfect for a day by the sea. One of the nicest beaches is Lama Monachile/Cala Porto in Polignano a Mare.
Several water parks are also within easy reach. There's Acquapark Egnazia, with its water slides, children's activity pool, wave pool and lazy river. And Acquapark Bari, which boasts a large pool, infants' pool, wave pool, plenty of slides, a restaurant and cafe.
Zoosafari Fasanolandia is a theme and animal park that's around 30 minutes away by car. It's just outside the town of Fasano and offers a mix of live shows, roller coasters, rides and a drive-through safari.
