Architect Pino Brescia’s construction of a traditional Puglian ‘borgo’ – or fortified village – is a symphony of golden tufa limestone accented by vivid bougainvillaea. Egnazia boasts a masseria, paved streets and arcades, a church, a central piazza, and several stone cottages and villas.
Stepping into Casa Deliziosa, spread over three storeys, a spacious living room with plush sofas, accent armchairs, a dining table, and a stone fireplace greets guests. An adjacent guest bathroom and fully equipped kitchen complete the ground floor.
Descending to the lower ground floor reveals another mellow living area with a dining table, games table, and home theatre system. Here, guests will also find the first of three bedrooms – a room with a double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. An extra room on this level can be used as a studio, dedicated workspace, or massage room.
Ascending to the first floor reveals two further bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king-size four-poster bed, TV, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom with double sink, shower, and separate bathtub. Another bedroom includes a double bed, TV, walk-in closet/small studio, and ensuite bathroom with tub.

About the surrounding area of Casa Deliziosa - Borgo EgnaziaSet serenely near the seaside town of Savelletri on Puglia’s Adriatic coastline, Egnazia is tucked between the ruins of an ancient Roman settlement (from which it takes its name) and the magnificent San Domenico championship golf course.
Of course, Puglia is renowned for its stunning sea and warm, white-sand beaches. And Egnazia boasts two private beaches, one sandy, one pebbly. Stroll through the golf course to the sea or take a free shuttle bus to a secluded, rocky cove, great for swimming. The Cala Masciola Beach Club also has a restaurant and bar to keep you going between dives in the sea.
Egnazia also boasts four stunning pools (in addition to the private pool in Casa Deliziosa). Dive into a different pool daily, drink an aperitif at a different bar every afternoon, and dine at a different restaurant every evening.
Despite many amenities that encourage guests to relax, many options exist for staying active. Not including the pools and private beaches, the sprawling golf course, tennis courts, and the scenic local surrounds are easily explored on foot or bicycle.

Best Suited For: All AgesEgnazia caters to kids thanks to fun kids' and teens' clubs. The clubs boast numerous activities, including cooking classes where kids can learn to make focaccia and pasta. Once a fortnight, the central piazza becomes a stage for a traditional Puglian festival; the little ones will love the cooking stations, dancing, fire displays, storytellers and entertainers.
Egnazia’s private beaches also offer a range of boat hire and water sports, including boarding, surfing and snorkelling. Another equally active option is a family fun day at Aquapark Egnazia (a 10-minute drive), with swimming pools and slides for kids of all ages. Or if the kids prefer to keep their feet dry, they can try their hands at golf or tennis.
And if you’re looking to get out and explore Puglia, a great place to check out is the spectacular caves of Grotte di Castellana (a 40-minute drive away). These caves date back 90 million years and are one of Puglia’s best-known wonders. With a network descending 60 metres underground, kids will marvel at hanging stalactites, ancient fossils and deep canyons.
