A masterpiece of traditional architecture, this exquisite villa enveloped in the luscious forest of the Lake Maggiore has everything you could dream of for a romantic Italian holiday, including break-taking views over the lake and endless hills on the horizon. 

The ground floor has a fully comprehensive comfort and entertainment offering, including a games room, library, lounge, office, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast area and separate dining room! The entire floor is tastefully designed to blend modern comforts with a more traditional style and each room is spacious, bright and airy thanks to the many large windows and patio doors. The open plan design creates a genuinely sociable atmosphere, while the separation of rooms ensures everyone can take up their activity of choice in their space.

An office will ensure you can keep on top of important business without distraction, while the numerous chill-out areas and billiards table will keep you entertained when it’s time for some fun! The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest mod cons and thanks to the large central island and two ovens, has plenty of space for an optional local chef (or two!) and the creation of some spectacular meals! A breakfast room provides an alternative to the main dining room for meal times, as well as the pleasant outdoor dining table.

All six bedrooms are on the first-floor and are spacious, bright and equipped with period-style furniture. All have exquisite views over the lake through large windows that allow in plenty of natural light. The master bedroom has a smaller room with bunk beds attached to it, perfect for those travelling with children. Three of the four bathrooms have a large bathtub, two of which also have showers, one bathroom has both and the final one just with a shower. Bedrooms are classically designed, with marble surfaces and large windows. Even the bathrooms enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding landscape and the beautiful garden!

On the 4000 m² vine-covered terrace, you can truly lose yourself in the wonders of nature, with a rose garden, endless perfectly-maintained hedges and flower beds, stone features, old walls and of course the exquisite views of the bright blue lake! The terracotta roofs of the houses below only add to the charm! The huge private pool (12m x 6m) benefits from an adjoining pool house with a changing room, bathroom and fridge and of course an array of sun loungers surrounding it. With a barbecue and plenty of comfy seats and sofas, your private terrace is the perfect place to sit back and relax in the afternoon sun, especially with the added fun of the Bluetooth speakers playing throughout the garden. The large dining area is perfect for enjoying the fine weather over a delicious meal, and with quite a view!

Just a short stroll from the beach, shops and restaurants of Meina, you really couldn’t ask for a better location!

Perfectly positioned on the hillside to enjoy breath-taking views across Lake Maggiore, the second biggest lake in Italy, Villa Minazza is just 400m from centre of Meina village and enjoys both beautiful view of nature and excellent proximity to beaches, bars, restaurants and shops, all within walking distance.

There are a range of ferry journeys across the lake to truly take in its beauty, or else, just a short drive away (or scenic walk!) is the town of Arona, a lively spot with a picturesque promenade along the lake, as well as many more shops and restaurants to peruse. There are many more elegant, charming towns across both sides of the lake, including Stresa, Luino, Laveno and Angera, with its imposing, medieval Castle La Rocca, as well as the Borromeo islands of Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Madre which provide the perfect spot for a morning stroll through romantic, winding streets (and don’t miss the botanical gardens of Isola Madre!).

Between the many towns are innumerable beaches of all sizes; small, unspoilt coves and larger, more popular spots such as Cannero Riviera and Maccagno. We recommend taking the cable car from Stresa up to Mottarone mountain, the views over Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta are spectacular. While in the winter there’s the option to ski, hiking or mountain biking are possible in the summer – you can even bike the way back down to Stresa!
