A magnificently restored 18th century building, Villa Cinabro occupies a prime position overlooking the sea in a typical Amalfi Coast village. It is situated halfway between the popular towns of Positano and Amalfi; making it the ideal base for exploring sandy beaches and swimming in azure waters. And the nearest beach is just a 10-minute walk from the villa, with the village also being a great place to follow the Path of the Gods hiking trail.
The interior of Villa Cinabro is elegant and luxurious, with five en-suite double bedrooms accommodating up to ten people. Each bedroom reflects both the villa's age and the contemporary finish found throughout, with a mix of high ceilings and modern facilities, such as flat screen TVs.
When maximum occupancy of 8 guests is booked, the fifth bedroom transforms into a second stylish living space. Both of the villa's living rooms perfectly showcase its classy and unique atmosphere. One features a charming indoor garden, whilst the other has a glass floor pane that looks down to the indoor pool.
The indoor pool is designed for unwinding after long days, or simply treating yourself on holiday. Illuminated by soft lighting and offering various massage features, enjoy soothing background music as you allow both mind and body relax.
Delicious meals are enjoyed in the dining room, or al-fresco on the main terrace surrounded by the sights and scents of traditional Mediterranean plants. Drinks by the pool and dips in the pool itself are some of the best ways to appreciate the glorious sea views. But the most stunning views of all are from your very own roof garden with chill-out and small garden areas.
Soak up laid-back atmospheres typical of the Amalfi Coast in the nearby villages of Positano and Amalfi and their beautiful beaches. Both villages also have plenty of historic buildings to admire, as well as places to shop, drink and dine.
Other popular destinations are easy to reach from the villa, such as pretty Sorrento and the island of Capri with its enchanting Blue Grotto sea cave. The iconic ruins of Pompeii are just over an hour's drive away.

- Please note that the 10-person price includes five bedrooms whilst the 8-person price includes four bedrooms (as the fifth bedroom is converted into a second lounge).
- The villa has no private parking, but one car can be parked in a nearby bay for an extra cost
- The pool is not fenced, so children should be supervised when outdoors.
- Please note that published rates are only valid for the current year. Any bookings for subsequent years will be on request only and correct rates will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa CinabroVilla Cinabro sits within a charming coastal village that's home to a range of amenities, with a couple of shops just a few minutes away, as well as a seafood restaurant. Taking just a 10-minute walk from the villa will open up several other dining options, as well as the quiet beach of Marina di Praia. The village also boasts scenic walking trails through lush green areas, as well as there being lots of tucked-away coves by the sea to discover.
With the villa occupying a peaceful position between the coastal villages of Amalfi and Positano, both are easy to reach for days out. Amalfi is a tumble of pretty, pastel-coloured buildings that perch on the cliffs that overlook the sea. The main attractions here are the medieval Roman Catholic cathedral and the array of pebble and sandy beaches.
Positano also has plenty of sandy stretches to relax on, with the sea perfect for leisurely swims. Explore the town's maze of winding streets dotted with sets of steep steps and charming restaurants, shops, cafes and bars.
The island of Capri is just a boat ride away and is worth the journey alone to experience the stunning Blue Grotto. When sunlight passes through this sea cave, it reflects off the water and illuminates the entire cave with a magical blue glow.
Sorrento is around a 50-minute drive from the villa, with this popular coastal spot being famous for its lemons and shops selling local crafts. Historic highlights in the town include the cathedral, the 14th-century church Chiesa di San Francesco, and the bell tower. A favourite place to take a break is Piazza Tasso, as it's full of cafes where you can relax and people-watch.

Best Suited For: All AgesThere's a rocky beach just a short walk from the villa, with one of the closest sandy stretches to be found in Positano. The village's main beach is Spiaggia Grande, with sun loungers and umbrellas for hire. Other facilities include changing rooms and showers. A few restaurants and a bar are also close to the beach for drinks, snacks and lunch.
The Due Golfi Train Tour departs from the village of Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, with the journey through stunning natural landscapes and up into the hills lasting around three hours. Keeping everyone entertained is the train's driver, who tells interesting stories about the area and will stop at a limoncello factory along the way.
Just over an hour's drive from the villa is the archaeological site of Pompeii. Older children in particular are sure to be fascinated by the ruins, with lots to learn as you explore the site.

A paradise and a dream trip
This is a paradise and a dream trip. What a gorgeous place. The staff, service and everything from start to finish is WOW!
You made us feel at home. Our welcome, breakfast and everything from start to finish was made very special by the staff. Roberta organized a chef cooked meal on our last night and it was the best we had in Amalfi. Overall this place is 110 out of 100. We will be back.

Thank you for the most incredible week. During our stay here. Your hospitality was first class and it made our time here amazing. The accommodation, from our daily breakfast and coffee helped start our days in the best way, the pool was refreshing and a great way to relax after days out with spectacular views and the welcome dinner was delicious. The villa is a magical place that gave us another reason to come back to the Amalfi Coast!

Villa Cinabro was amazing! I would definitely go back. Beautiful clean home, wonderful owners and staff. Definitely my favourite out of all the places I stayed on the coast. The villa has thought of every detail, down to
