Tucked on the leafy hillside of rural Lefkada and overlooking the stunning sea below, Villa Isole is a perfect hideaway for a couple or small family on this island paradise!
The fabulous interiors are delightfully spacious and welcoming. A fully-equipped kitchen to one side, with intricately patterned tiles and wooden fittings, ensures you can cook up a treat while you’re here and enjoy peaceful nights as much as explore the many eateries of this magnificent island! Alongside this, there’s a dining area should you choose to stay indoors, but you’ll also find a fabulous alfresco dining area for being a little more adventurous! And for relaxing there’s a lovely large sofa where you can pop your feet up. There’s also a TV if you just want to climb into bed and take some time to switch off and unwind!
Your beautiful bedroom embodies the same incredible connection with the natural world. Exposed stone throughout and wooden beams overhead create a sense of bringing the outside in, and at the heart of this natural paradise is the fabulous bed, its ornate headboard elegantly framed with cloth drapes. The delightful bathroom continues the natural vibes and enjoys a wonderful patterned tile shower with a rain shower head as well as a conventional style, giving you plenty of choices when it comes to pampering yourself!
And for true pampering, step out into this wondrous garden! For snoozing, resting and enjoying the gentle sunshine and sea breeze, slip into this hammock and gaze out over the dazzling sea just beyond the vibrant, verdant hillside below you. And if you get a little warm, slip into this stunning Jacuzzi and feel the water bubbling over your skin, refreshing and revitalising you!
In the evenings, there’s no more romantic spot than to come together in the Jacuzzi and admire the twinkling lights in the distance as the sun sets over the sea and paints the sky a million pastel shades. You’ll also find a fabulous alfresco dining area for tucking into freshly prepared delights under the stars or the sunshine, enjoying the soft sounds of nature all around you!
Nestled in the little village of Tsoukalades, you’re ideally placed to enjoy countless local beaches and the tranquil local culture. And what’s more, you’re just a 15-minute drive from the centre of the wonderful town of Lefkada with its many tavernas and cafes and shops, not to mention rich history and beautiful architecture.
What you should know…
- This is a one-room apartment, ideal for a couple or those travelling with very young children
- If you fancy even more of an adventure, there are regular car ferries to Kefalonia, Ithaca and Meganissi, but some only run in the summer months so check first!
- Villa Isole doesn't have a pool but has a Jacuzzi, perfect if you have friends staying in one of the other villas but want privacy, or just prefer swimming in the sea.

When you fancy venturing out a little, the nearby Tsoukalades village is delightfully tucked in the mountains with rich, verdant interiors just a few minutes inland. Stone houses line the few small streets and create a perfect traditional picture among the fragrant pine trees which cascade down to the coast in a stunning sea of green. Take the beautiful forest path from the town down to the stunning Pefkoulia beach for a perfect morning in nature!
The stunning island of Lefkada is widely known as ‘The Caribbean of Greece’, and from the moment you cross the causeway, you’ll see why!
You’re met immediately by the beautiful sights of the colourful buildings and narrow pedestrianised streets of Lefkada Town. A perfectly sized town for strolling, the winding streets of trendy and high-end shops and eateries tucked among more traditional tavernas and market stalls offer a perfect experience! And the more historical gems, like the old temples and churches built in the traditional style, complete a fantastic day trip.
But if it’s more sun, sea and sand you’re after, head to any of the incredible beaches on your doorstep! The local Pefkoulia beach, with an expanse of sand and picturesque views of the mainland, is fantastic for you and the kids and boasts plenty of life, and is under 10 minutes away. At the same time, there are countless more unmissable spots along the coast in either direction!
Vast skies, sparkling white-sand beaches, and huge stretches of brilliant blue seas define this country and its many islands, where thriving nature complements elegant architecture. But it’s not all scenery and plants - a whole load more awaits you on Lefkada! For some real culinary delights, be sure to tuck into some of the classic Greek cuisines while you’re here. The food of Greece is famous for its rich flavours and delicate recipes of Mediterranean delights, and Lefkada is no different!
For a little adrenaline, try your hand at mountain biking, scuba diving, and rock climbing, or you can simply set up on your beautiful local beaches and soak up the peaceful atmosphere, the endless sunshine and the always-spectacular views of mountains, vibrant life and the turquoise sea that awaits you at every turn.

How to reach Lefkada island
You can easily reach Lefkas by car from mainland Greece, via the bridge connecting Lefkada with Aitoloakarnania. Lefkada island does not have an airport.
