Tucked away in a secluded corner – in the popular area of Halkidiki – lies five-bedroom King Villa. This luxury Greek villa can sleep up to ten guests, making it a perfect place for families or groups of friends. It overlooks the breath-taking Kassandra Peninsula, and is a part of a complex, which means you get best of both worlds – your own privacy, and access to the resort’s facilities including a mini market, restaurant and private stretch of lounger-dotted sand by the coast.

Inside, the villa elegantly blends old and new, with exposed, traditional stonework in the bedrooms, and around the fireplace, and a modern colour scheme. There are a  sleek, open-plan kitchen and dining areas. The large terrace is always a favourite place to while away the hours in the sunshine, taking the odd dip in the pool, or reading your holiday book under shade. You can book boat rides through the resort, as well as beauty and spa treatments and a personal chef – fancy.

Set in a peaceful spot, this villa is the ideal place to relax with the family. Though, when you want to explore the beach is only a short walk away, and as is the village of Frama. For a livelier scene, head to Kassandra where you can watch boats bobbing in the harbour and try classic Greek cuisine, like grilled octopus or moussaka, in one of the cosy waterfront tavernas. Plus, you can brush up on the history at the 16th-century chapel of Panagia Faneromeni, just near the resort.

This villa overlooks Halkidiki’s coast, near the laidback village of Frama. This charming part of Greece is known for its pristine sandy beaches and glorious year-round sunshine. Staying close to the fishing village of Nea Skioni, there is plenty to see and do in the area. Restaurants serve up traditionally-prepared fresh fish and classic Greek dishes like moussaka, spas offer treatments to pamper mind and body, and the bars provide a great nightlife – and a great cocktail.

Just 2km from King Villa, you'll find the 16th century Chapel of Panagia Faneromeni, a must see in the region. Travelling further along this breathtaking coastline you'll experience an abundance of natural wonders, including caves, wetlands, and cliffs and forests that conceal hidden beaches. Whilst soaking up the sun on the beaches, don't forget to look out to sea from time to time, as you may catch a glimpse of dolphins playing near the coast. There’s a private stretch of beach near the villa, or if you want to explore the area’s hidden bays and secluded coves, you can hop on a boat. This part of Greece is known for its snorkelling and scuba diving.

To brush up on your history more, the most notable archaeological sites in the area include Stageira – Aristotle’s birthplace – and Olynthus, known for its well-preserved mosaic floors. The Blue Lagoon is also an extraordinary marvel in Halkidiki. It's a small strait between Diaporos Island and another small island and has a shallow bay with a white sandy bottom.

Kids

Best Suited For: All Ages
Ideal for Kids Ideal for Teens

With its family-friendly Blue Flag beaches and opportunities to take part in watersports, like jet skiing, snorkelling and sailing, Halkidki is the perfect place for families with children. You can hop on a boat and explore the secret coves that dot the rugged, more unexplored, coastline. Plus, if you’re lucky, you may spot dolphins playing close to the shore.

The water around the area is mostly calm and crystal-clear – making it ideal for younger swimmers – and there are a myriad of coral reefs teeming with wildlife you can snorkel or dive.

For more fun days out, you can visit top archaeological sites like the 16th-century chapel of Panagia Faneromeni, a short walk from villa - you can probably see it from your pool. Aristotle’s birthplace and Olynthus, known for its well-preserved mosaic floors are also must-visits. Or, hire bikes and explore the winding trails.
