Gamboge Villa is a simply exquisite Mediterranean Mansion set in a private plot on an exclusive Greek Resort with incredible sea views. This two-storey villa is unparalleled in sheer size and luxury and provides for every possible amenity with four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a kitchenette. Perfect for a family, group of friends or even multiple couples, this villa gives guests a true taste of the ultimate five-star Greek luxury. Guests can truly relax, switch off and leave the stresses of everyday life behind, and rest assured that every need and want is catered for here.
Guests will walk up stone steps to get to the grand entrance, which leads straight into a vast and beautiful open plan living/dining space. This central area is the heart of Gamboge villa, where guests can convene to watch a late-night movie, or to dine in a cool and private environment. In terms of décor, the attention to detail is second to none; an opulent marble fireplace commands attention, while beautiful artwork adorns the walls.
Guests can dine at the Saarinen dining table and chairs, and listen to music using state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen technology – there is also a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Two of the four lavish bedrooms feature generous walk-in wardrobes and marble bathrooms, including a hydro-massage tub, double vanity unit, and separate showers, while the other two beautifully appointed rooms each have their own bathrooms and showers. The bedrooms each feature double beds and televisions, and have been designed to perfection, promising a night of rest and comfort.
The immaculately landscaped outdoor area has been split into two levels; the upper-level terrace has a heated infinity pool, dining area for six lit by mosaic lanterns, plush sofas, antique canopy bed and outdoor fireplace, all of which can be enclosed with sliding-glass panels to create more indoor living space when desired. Down a sweeping staircase to the lower level terrace, which juts out over the sea, there is an outdoor Jacuzzi, additional seating as well as dining areas and gardens. The views at Gamboge Villa are simple breathtaking; you have to see it to believe it.
What you should know…
- We recommend guests hiring a car if they want to explore the coast and forests of Halkidiki, Free self-parking and valet are both available onsite
- The baby club and the kids club are open every day from 10:30 to 21:30, and are both complimentary. All events are supervised by qualified and multilingual staff (Russian, Greek and English)
- Dogs are welcome at no charge – beds, bowls and food are supplied. Beach access for dogs is reserved for those whose masters are staying in a Beach Cabana

Location
About the surrounding area of Gamboge VillaLocated in Halikidi, very close to Nikiti beach, Gamboge Villa is set within an exclusive and luxurious Resort. There is plenty to do in the local area; Nikiti has two lovely beaches in the town. One is on the left of the port; it is very long and extends to more than two kilometres in the direction of Neos Marmaras. The beach is mostly sandy, so it is ideal for long beach walks! The most beautiful part of the beach is the very beginning, at the dock, and the other half of the beach, at cafe Saint George. The local beach, which is right from the dock, is also long and very picturesque!
Sithonia, the second peninsula of Halkidiki is renowned for its wonderful beaches, such as Kavourotripes where a pine-fringed stretch of fine sand meets stunning azure waters. Located 39km from the town of Nikiti, this is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches in the area and is well worth a visit!
Also gorgeous are the beaches in the area of Vourvoura, approximately18km from Nikiti, such as Karidi and Livari. Opposite Vourvoura there is a number of uninhabited islands. Visit the island of Diaporos by boat for incredible swims in crystal clear waters.
Arnea, located in northern Halkidiki in the foothills of Mount Holomondas, is a lively and bustling village with 2,300 permanent residents – and no trace of the melancholy that pervades many of the more sparsely populated Greek mountain villages. With flagstone-paved streets, homes with the bay windows characteristic of Macedonian architecture, wooden balconies and colourful walls, a visit to the village has the feel of a step back in time to an earlier era in Halkidiki’s history. Thick forests of chestnut trees, oaks and pines cover the slopes of Mount Holomondas in central Halkidiki, ideal for a mountain biking excursion or simply an early morning hike!

Best Suited For: All AgesThere is no shortage of activities for children at Gamboge Villa. In addition to the very large outdoor area, the large heated pool is great for kids to splash! The high-speed wifi will ensure that everybody is happy, especially teenagers! There is also plenty of activities on offer within the resort itself: canoeing, windsurfing, scuba diving, water skiing and snorkelling, and water aerobics classes are available on request in both the swimming pool and the sea. There is also onsite tennis courts, and an outdoor playground, with swings and a slide! Staff can arrange activities outside of the resort as well; horse riding, golf and even scuba diving!
The resort also offers a fantastic kids club for adventurous and creative afternoons all under the supervision of qualified, multilingual professionals. With plenty of exciting activities and fun games, the kids club is suitable for all ages up to 12 years. The resort also has a crèche that can look after any children over four months old, where parents can leave their children and enjoy a kid-free afternoon!
Staff can also arrange boating excursions, where guests can snorkel in the crystal-clear waters and explore the nearby coves. There are plenty of nearby beaches to explore, and fun mountain biking trails to follow. For a bit of history, you can spend afternoons exploring the exciting ancient monasteries and churches nearby. You couldn't ask for a better holiday spot for kids!
