Villa Pink Oval is a beautiful and traditional home located in the small and charming village of Tzitzifes. Here, you will enjoy peace and tranquillity in a villa that epitomises countryside elegance.
Boasting plenty of outdoor space, guests will spend a lot of time admiring the attractive scenery that incorporates the lush green hills. The stone building benefits from a pale pink exterior as well as small balconies situated on the second floor. The home’s second floor was added during renovations and possesses three bedrooms and a small sitting area complete with a kitchenette.
The interior rustic wooden ceiling and stone walls provide a homely yet elegant ambience. Designers have sourced the finest materials to use across the home’s furnishings while keeping traditional Cretan flair enhanced with a modern style.
Guests will be able to make use of the home’s heating and cooling system for their ultimate comfort as well as the plasma TV. Outside, guests can dine al fresco on the sunny veranda and inside, a casual dining area is located in the kitchen.
The vistas that can be admired from the balconies are simply mesmerising. You will see the quaint homes of Tzitzifes nestled in the vivid green trees – what a beautiful view to enjoy during sunset!

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa Pink OpalGeorgioupoli beach is a wonderful golden sandy beach just 12km away from Villa Pink Opal. The glistening blue waters look stunning against the mountain backdrop. This long beach is great for taking blissful strolls against the tide and due to its length, you can walk for miles.
Alternatively, grab a sun lounger and enjoy the beautiful Geek sun rays. Georgioupoli is home to a selection of authentic tavernas, where you can devour some traditional Greek cuisine. Due to the shallow waters, kids will feel safe having a paddle in the sea and watching the fish gently swim to their feet. The beach is also a great location as it lies nearby some of the best local attractions. From Georgioupoli, you will easily be able to reach the quaint Agios Nikolaos Chapel, have a relaxing massage at the Beauty & Massage Wellness Center or try out horse riding at Grillo's Stable.
The Archaeological Site of Ancient Aptera is one of Greece’s must-see sights and is only around a 45-minute drive away. The Amphitheatre provides a mesmerising insight into life during medieval times and the Byzantine Period and contains authentic archaeology and ruins for you to explore. You could easily wander around this site for hours, marvelling at the ancient ruins of times gone by.

How to reach Chania
There are two ways to reach Chania: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: Chania Airport (CHQ) is only a 20 minutes ride away from central Chania. During the summer months, frequents overseas and domestic flights are performed. In most of the cases, there are available buses that connect Chania city and most of the villas. You can also hire a car from one of the many rental companies at the airport, or alternatively get a taxi to bring you right to your doorstep.
By ferry: If you choose to do an island-hopping trip and use the ferry as a method of transportation, then the closest port is in Souda, only 8km from the centre of Chania. Only ferries from Piraeus in Athens or Heraklion in Crete. Heraklion port has a wider choice: you can also take a ferry from other Greek islands like Santorini, Mykonos or Paros, but you will have to take a longer bus ride to reach your villa. Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesKalivaki is a nearby beach that is perfect for kids due to its shallow and safe waters. The beach possesses sun loungers and beach bars so that you can make the most out of the lovely Greek weather and spend some time enjoying the sunshine. Kalivaki is a slightly smaller beach than Georgioupoli so you won’t have to rush down there to get a good spot.
Snorkelling is a great option at this beach and kids with love meeting the range of beautiful marine life!
