With four comfortable bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and an artistically furnished sitting room, this is a house with character which makes the most of its fabulous location and views. A veranda style dining room opens out to the lush gardens where the heated pool and hot tub provide a touch of luxury.
Near the pool there is an al fresco dining area, covered lounge with summer kitchen and a lovely Mediterranean garden with roses, lavender, olive and mature trees beyond which are some delightful cameo views of the Luberon forests.
Ménerbes, officially one of the most beautiful villages in France, is the place to go for shops, cafés and a weekly market while exquisite Lacoste is a beautifully preserved and charming medieval village. Hikers and bikers will enjoy following the Luberon forest trails while wine lovers explore the local vineyards and wineries.
For a lovely day trip, visit arty Saint-Rémy-de-Provence on the edge of Les Alpilles or head to Avignon’s UNESCO World Heritage sites.

About the surrounding area of Villa HerbaeVilla Herbae is beautifully located just a short drive from the idyllic villages of Ménerbes and Lacoste in the Vaucluse region of southeast France.
Ménerbes, a hilltop village in the Luberon, is one of the Plus Beaux Villages in France and the place to find shops, cafés, restaurants and a seasonal Thursday morning market. Lacoste is another lovely hilltop village, where little has changed since the 14th century.
Gordes has tiny cobblestone streets and tall houses spiralling round a rock overlooking the plateau. Hikers and bikers will love the nearby trails into the hills and forests and wine lovers will enjoy the Luberon AOC vineyards and wineries.
For a taste of the low mountains and wonderful scenery of Les Alpilles, head to the hidden gem of Eygalières. The artistic ambiance of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Avignon also make fabulous day trips.
