A beautifully renovated farmhouse set in five acres of grounds with superb views, Aranton Farmhouse is an ideal holiday home for large groups and an idyllic venue for weddings and special celebrations.
A large pool, spacious summer salon and swooping views make this location pure bliss. Book the farmhouse and the lodge together for a big family gathering.
Spanning the main farmhouse and the one-story lodge are bedrooms that can sleep 16. Aranton is the perfect place for a large family holiday in Gascony.
Renovations to Aranton were completed in 2009 and the landscaping has now been completed with a beautiful old lime tree and an Italianate garden at the front of the house. The large pool with a panoramic view, a games room with ping pong and a tennis court are some of the pristine new additions to the estate.
The generous downstairs area includes a fully fitted kitchen with an American fridge, a dining room with pine tables and chairs and a spacious summer salon – leading to a barbecue space – dominated by a wooden mezzanine with views of the beautiful fields.
This well-executed mix of old and new continues into the bedrooms, which are situated in two wings. They are nicely proportioned and unobtrusive. One has armchairs in front of a fireplace, and others have their original wooden floors. All of the bedrooms have white walls and a lot of natural light.

Property Features
Main house
The main house has recently been completely restored and sleeps twelve in two separate wings. The generous downstairs space includes a magnificent salon with mezzanine balcony which opens onto the swimming pool.

Lodge
The lodge is a barn conversion located just below the pool, a few a steps from the main house. From the terrace there are splendid views with the Pyrenees visible in certain conditions.

About the surrounding area of Aranton FarmhouseAranton Farmhouse is situated in the heart of the beautiful Gascony countryside, surrounded by old bastide towns.
Using Aranton as your base, you will find lots to do in the local area.
- Food: The region is renowned for food, particularly foie gras and speciality duck dishes.
- Wine and Armagnac: Aranton is located in the main region for Armagnac, so there are plenty of opportunities for wine and Armganac tasting at excellent local vineyards.
- Walking: Guests will find fantastic walking in the beautiful countryside around the farmhouse, and there are many old bastide villages to explore. Larressingle, Fourcès, Montréal and Condom are close by.
- Sports: Golf, tennis, horse-riding, pelote (a traditional Basque racket game) and fishing are all within easy reach.
- Culture: The local area is rich in chateaux, antique fairs, jazz and classical music and there are a variety of local fêtes in the summer months.
- Shopping: All the main services are less than ten minutes by car. Bordeaux and the Pyrenees are about a two hours' drive. There are markets each day of the week in local towns, including:

Un bonheur cette maison!
Un bonheur cette maison! Nous étions en famille, 14 personnes de tous âges et tous étaient ravis. C’était génial. Il ne manquait rien, tout à été Bien pensé . De plus l'accueil et la réactivité De Nicette sont formidables. Ainsi que la possibilité d’avoir une cuisinière certains soirs (a notre convenance). En revanche beaucoup d’insectes et de «petites bêtes »

Wonderful stay at Aranton
If you are having any reservations or doubts in booking Aranton, then i can assure there is no need., The 14 of us had the most wonderful stay in this very comfortable spacious property. The property is roughly 90mins from Toulouse airport, which is a relatively easy trip up the motorway. The property is well equipped and the owners have thought of everything, with both a well equipped kitchen and games room. The property not only benefits from a lovely dining room but there is multiple terraces to eat outside and enjoy a BBQ overlooking the wonderful views.
Both Tony and Nicette are very helpful and wonderful hosts recommending an excellent vineyard to do a wine and armac tasting. The town of condom is less than 10minutes away and has very characterful square and two excellent supermarkets, even a friendly rugby bar that put on the England game for us. There is also many other lovely medieval villages to explore in the area, with markets. -
A wonderful stay at Aranton Farmhouse
We had a fabulous stay at Aranton Farmhouse for my 30th Birthday. The group loved all the facilities and the amount of space we had. The tennis courts are a fab bonus, there was also a huge amount of games and equipment to keep everyone entertained! We really enjoyed the big tables for dinners and bbqs and even ordered pizza in from very nearby Condom. Nicette was very friendly and helpful and we had no problems whatsoever. Thank you for having us!!!!

The Land that Time Forgot!!
A charming house in a beautiful spot. We have loved being here. We enjoyed wonderful walks between the sunflower fields, gathering blackberries, wild figs and rose hips. Driving around the ancient villages, discovering yet more churches, pretty farmsteads, enormous chateaux, was a dream. This is definitely the land that time forgot.

A fantastic week
We have had a fantastic week here in Aranton Farmhouse, enjoying the views, the pool, the games room and for football-obsessed members of the part the big TV!! Having had a truly relaxing holiday we’ll head back to the UK with fantastic memories! Thanks to everyone who ensured our stay was a success we can’t wait to come again.

The best we had so far!!
We are a bunch of old fiends all living in different places (Limognes, Lyon, Nice) who gather every summer to enjoy holidays together. The week we spend here has been the best we've had so far. Thanks to the great property, the amazing views, the pool, tennis court, which made our stay simply perfect.

What a Wonderful place!
Wonderful unspoilt countryside. Beautiful chateau with wonderful views. We enjoyed our two weeks here. We swam, we played pool and tennis and even ping-pong. There was so much to do both in the grounds and in the country. We would certainly come back. Thank you cannot praise this enough.

A Little bit of Heaven!
Tony & Barbara - you have created a little bit of heaven here. What a job you have done restoring the house, what vision and perfection of execution. We all had a fabulous time & the kids (4) loved the place and could not be wrenched from the tennis court, pool, billiard table, table tennis and soccer table. The sun shone, we ate like lords & slept like kings - the best holiday ever. Thank you.

A truly wonderful holiday
A true gem in the beautiful French countryside. A truly wonderful holiday has been had by all. The house is stunning and caters for all your needs and comforts. With 8 boys under 12 years of age to entertain the games room, pool and tennis court proved a total winner. We have enjoyed long lazy lunches on the terrace and much laughter in the evenings. We are planning our return trip already and leaving knowing we will be back soon.

So glad we found this gem of a place for our family to celebrate my 70th birthday. The best Christmas!
Our family spent a wonderful Christmas week in Aranton Farmhouse. The house has been beautifully restored and we would not have wished for more for our large family. The children (and adults) loved the games room. We have lots of fun memories of our stay here. We will certainly return.

Exceptional!
We have been renting houses for 2 months in the summer in France since 1997. This was the 6th house - all have been exceptional - Arnanton Farmhouse was outstanding. Over the 2 months we had 60 people staying all agreed Aranton Farmhouse was the best of the lot! From the first moment we drove in and saw the views we fell in love with it all. So much so that no one wanted to leave the property. Two of our young adult grandchildren stayed the whole summer - they said it was the best summer they had ever had.

This wonderful place
Sixteen varying members of the same family stayed in this wonderful place. We loved the views, the fantastic layout of the place with everything you might need to live comfortably available. The surrounding area is packed with beautiful little gems. We have kept ages 5-75+ happily entertained and have some super memories to take home with us. / What a lovely house in beautiful surroundings. A good time was had by all - unbeatable.
