Villa Trident offers contemporary luxury on the French Riviera with the most stunning views of the glistening Mediterranean, close to the medieval village of Èze and its beaches.

After a day sight-seeing in Monaco or cruising the Côte d'Azur, imagine sitting back on your terrace gazing out to the most wonderful vistas of the hills and sea. Such views can also be admired inside with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the scenery from so much of this extraordinary modern villa, including two of the six bedrooms which feature terraces looking out towards the sea.

Guests should expect upmarket features in this high-end holiday home, not just the air-conditioning throughout, beautiful furnishings and plush bathrooms but also added extras such as a sauna and jacuzzi in the master bedroom, an elegant bar downstairs, a brilliantly equipped gym and even a lift.

Yet it’s the diamond shaped infinity pool that will take your breath away, perfectly blending in with the incredible landscapes of the French Riviera. A second swimming pool is just as inviting and there are various stylish terraces for relaxation, al-fresco dining and lounging in the southern French sun.

Follow the winding road down the hill towards the sea and soon you will find yourself in the charming seaside resort of Èze-sur-Mer with its azure-coloured sea, summer watersports and beachside restaurants. Further along the coast, the beaches, restaurants and boutiques of Beaulieu-sur-Mer also await or continue onwards to Cap Ferrat, Nice, Antibes and Cannes.

Perched high above the coastline, the medieval village of Èze is also within a short drive, another place for appreciating the splendid sea views and soaking up the historic charm. Explore the village’s narrow, steep lanes which encircle the castle and dine in upmarket restaurants including the Michelin starred Chèvre D’Or.

If you can find the time, spend the day visiting the four districts of Monaco from the atmospheric Provençal market in Condamine and the beauty of St Nicholas Cathedral and Place du Palais to the glamourous hotels and casinos of Monte Carlo – there’s no doubt this is a region of striking yet magnificent contrasts.

On the French Riviera, enjoying beautiful views of the Mediterranean, Villa Trident is set close to the perched village of Èze, only five-minute drive from a picturesque beach below.

A short drive away, the village of Èze circles around the fortified castle and it’s a joy to explore its steep narrow lanes with its shady squares, pretty cafes, shops and restaurants including the Michelin starred Chèvre D’Or. The panoramic views down to the Côte d'Azur are stunning and there are some wonderful hiking paths down towards the coast. The botanical gardens just above the village are also worthy of a visit with a varied range of plants and flowers as well as yet more magnificent vistas.

Heading down the hill, there is a small beach around a 5-minute drive away (the last part of the access is on foot via a long path) or head a little further towards the seaside resort of Èze-sur-Mer, around 4km by car, with its beachside summer restaurants (including the much-loved Anjuna Beach restaurant), watersports and shallow waters for paddling and swimming. The train station at Èze-sur-Mer has departures to Monaco and Cannes (via Nice and Antibes).

Explore other beaches in the region including chic Beaulieu-sur-Mer, about a 15-minute drive away, with its glorious coastline (including the stunning Plage de la Petite Afrique), glamourous boutiques, upmarket bars and casinos as well as many excellent places to eat.

Spend time admiring the landscapes of Cap Ferrat, a paradise with its walking trails and wonderful coastal scenery or spend the day in Nice visiting the grand city’s galleries, museums, shops and vibrant markets. Continuing onwards, Antibes and Cannes can both be reached in under an hour, as can some of the hilltop villages of the Côte d'Azur hinterland such as Biot and Mougins.

In the other direction, Monaco is only a short drive away – a unique destination with an extravagant reputation, especially in Monte Carlo, yet you can also experience the municipality’s authenticity at the Condamine Provençal market or as you explore the old town with its beautiful St Nicholas Cathedral and Place du Palais.

It’s fantastic being so close to the beaches of the French Riviera, not just around Èze but also further along the coast in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Cagnes-sur-Mer and onwards to Antibes and Cannes.

Just a short drive down the hill and along the coastline brings you to the charming seaside resort of Èze-sur-Mer with its shingly beach as well as gently-shelving calm waters for paddling and swimming. Hire loungers and parasols from summer beach clubs and enjoy lunch in a beautiful setting in one of the two beachside restaurants. Seasonal watersports on offer here include kayaking, scuba-diving, sailing and windsurfing.

Monaco is a great family day out with its museums including the Oceanographic Museum with a shark lagoon. The Zoological Gardens are home to around fifty different types of animals and also feature a great playground. For younger kids, hop on board the “Azur Express” road train for a tour of the main attractions in the principality. Also look out for boat trips departing the harbour in Monaco for excursions along the French Riviera.

Other great attractions can be found close to Villeneuve-Loubet (including the theme parks Le Bois des Lutins and Le Village des Fous) and onwards to north Antibes where you there is mini-golf, a small animal park as well as Marineland, Kid’s Island and Aquasplash.

Security deposit £3000 charged to client’s credit card as a pre-authorisation one month before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Changeover day Saturday. All other changeover days on request.
Minimum stay 14 nights between May and September, otherwise 7 nights. All other durations on request.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? No.
Pool opening dates? Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming. Open approximately between April-September.
