Yet as you gaze out from your villa towards the Mediterranean, as far as the bay of Saint-Tropez, there’s no doubt you are in the heart of the glorious French Riviera in this superb villa in the south of France.
Villa Pins D’Italie is a fine holiday home with spectacular sea views, designed in the 1960s by a prestigious Saint-Tropez architect who is well-known for many famous creations across the Côte d'Azur. There’s a feeling of grand space and light across the elegant living room with picture-book windows framing the wonderful garden and vistas of the azure coloured sea. Doors also lead from the smart kitchen-diner to a covered al-fresco terrace where you can dine looking out to the incredible landscapes of the French Riviera.
On the upper floor there are yet more opportunities to be mesmerised by the views from the master bedroom with its private terrace, dressing room and en suite bathroom. Downstairs, four further air-conditioned bedrooms and three bathrooms allow plenty of space for a family or group of friends to spend time together in this magnificent abode.
If you are not relaxing by the picturesque swimming pool, which can be heated during certain months, or finding a shady spot under the majestic pine trees for a glass of chilled Côtes de Provence, then play a game of boules in the glorious gardens. The young at heart will also love the table football, table tennis, pool table and even a games console and you can also expect a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. This fantastic home is brilliant for all generations.
Wander down to the local restaurants and the nearest beach, around a ten-minute stroll away, and soak up the beauty of this coastline whether discovering a sandy shore or a rocky cove with crystal-clear water. There’s a great choice of watersports too from jet-skiing to kayaking, and summer boat shuttles will take you to Saint-Tropez in just 25-minutes.
Sainte-Maxime is just a short drive down the road, passing super family beaches on the way, or follow the winding lanes towards some of this region’s idyllic hilltop villages such as Grimaud and Gassin. This area is also a golf lovers paradise with a number of courses close by, including the Gary Player designed Golf Club Saint Tropez.
Whether teeing off in spectacular surroundings, dining in authentic hilltop settings, soaking up the glitz and glamour of Saint-Tropez or simply unwinding by your swimming pool, there is so much to experience during your time at Villa Pins D’Italie.

About the surrounding area of Villa Pins D'ItalieIn the French Riviera, around an hour from Nice Airport, Villa Pins D’Italie enjoys an enviable location within walking distance to the beach and a selection of restaurants, only half an hour by car (even less by boat!) from the glitz of Saint-Tropez.
It’s just a ten-minute walk down to the Mediterranean coast where you will find a number of beaches, some sandy, others with pebbles, rocks and crystal-clear sea. Stroll a little further and you will reach a stunning natural area with towering pine trees and rocky paths leading to coves, a perfect spot for a picnic with spectacular views.
There are also plenty of restaurants close by as well as a supermarket and useful shops such as a bakery and pharmacy – it’s an ideal location if you don’t wish to depend on a car for all of your stay. Wander down to the village port where there are watersport centres offering parachuting, jet-ski, sea-karts and fly-boarding as well as gentler pursuits such as snorkelling, paddle-boards and kayaking.
Summer boat shuttles depart from the local port to Saint-Tropez, taking around 25 minutes – a great way to beat the traffic. You can also hire private yachts for days out with a skipper exploring the bay of Saint-Tropez and beyond.
The lovely seaside town of Sainte Maxime (7km) is a short drive away, passing many wonderful stretches of beaches on the way, ideal for families and also offering a wealth of watersports. Visit Sainte Maxime on a Thursday morning to experience its atmospheric market and pick up all sorts of local delights.
The Place des Lices Market in Saint-Tropez is also not to be missed by food-lovers, spreading out over the square on a Tuesday and Saturday morning. Afterwards, wander around the historic quarter admiring the beautiful architecture and charming lanes, perhaps followed by lunch at one of the high-end restaurants near the marina. The brilliant beach south of Saint-Tropez is also a must - Pampelonne (28km) with its sandy shores, yet more watersports and famous beach clubs such as Club 55.
As well as Saint-Tropez, don’t miss some of the idyllic hilltop villages such as Grimaud (20km), Gassin (23km) and Ramatuelle (25km), all picture-perfect places with flower-filled cobbled lanes, old churches, authentic restaurants and incredible views.
Keen hikers and experienced cyclists can head inland to the Maures mountains or even as far as the world-famous Verdon Gorge, about two hours away, a spectacular place for canoeing, kayaking or just appreciating the scenery. Closer to home, there are also many fantastic walking trails around La Croix-Valmer coastline, just over half an hour away.
Golf-lovers are spoilt for choice with the 18-hole Golf Blue Green near Sainte-Maxime, the prestigious Beauvallon Golf Club also close by and Golf Club Saint-Tropez just a little further.

Best Suited For: All AgesThis part of the south of France is fantastic for families with wonderful beaches, great watersport opportunities and plenty to do for all ages.
The local sandy beach is around a ten-minute walk away and there are some pebbly bays a little further, including a picturesque park with pine trees and hidden coves via rocky paths. Further towards Sainte-Maxime you will find longer stretches of sandy beaches or drive south of Saint-Tropez to experience the famous Pampelonne beach.
Local Watersports include kayaking, snorkelling, jet-skiing, sea-karts and fly-boarding. Whatever you desire, there are many water-based activity centres along the coast both locally and around Sainte- Maxime and Saint-Tropez.
At the nearby port you will also find the summer boat shuttles that take you to Saint-Tropez in just 25 minutes. There are many more boat excursions departing from Saint-Tropez or Sainte Maxime or why not hire a private yacht with a skipper for your own day out exploring the bay.
There are tennis courts within a 5-minute drive as well as horse-riding in the region, karting near Port-Grimaud and lots of opportunities for family walks and cycling or mountain biking. Mini-golf in Cogolin, a zoo in Fréjus and even a tortoise park in Carnoules, around an hour away, are other great ways to keep children occupied.
Furthermore, look out for summer evening fairgrounds such as Azur Park near Gassin and waterparks in both Sainte-Maxime and Fréjus.

A beautiful house
We had a great time, you have a beautiful house in a lovely area. All the family relaxed well in the house and really enjoyed it. We particularly liked the ample space indoors and outdoors, great games room for the children and ideal pool area.

A wonderful week
We had a wonderful week, the villa was fantastic and the recommendations were great. We loved La Voile and especially La Reserve Gayrard and had a fabulous day at Peyrassol. The host was very helpful and we had a fabulous cook dinner on some nights for us.

We had a wonderful time at your villa - it was truly beautiful, unique, and exactly as described/expected. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The surrounding area was a perfect place for our family to visit and we look forward to coming back in the future. The meals prepared were fantastic and memorable. Thank you also for all your recommendations. In particular, La Reserve Gayrard was a favorite. We went there twice for dinner and it was exceptional.

Very tasteful villa invites you to linger
We spent a week in October 2022 in this very tastefully decorated villa. We were received there very friendly by the houselady, who always helped directly with minor problems.
The house is close to Les Issambres. There you will also find small restaurants and bakeries. Les Issambres is perfect for a first exploration of the coast, as you practically live “in the middle”.
We lived in the villa with 3 friendly families. It is very tastefully and comfortably furnished, we felt very comfortable here. The spacious house offers always new retreats for the individual. The five bedrooms were nice and friendly furnished with very good mattresses. There was parking for 3 cars on the fenced property. The kitchen is perfectly furnished. The adjoining utility room very functional. The sea view is magic and astonishing.

A Splendid Villa
We were positively surprised with the Villa Pins d’Italie. Not only is the place bright and sunny but also spacious and beautifully build.
From the first minute we felt at home and enjoyed the garden, the large outdoor pool and the wonderful views from the balconies.
The view on the sea and Saint tropez is unique. Many thanks for two wonderful weeks. 5/5 stars -
Perfect for Gulf of St Tropez
We stayed in the villa in the first week of August as a family of 5. The villa really is a beautiful as it looks in the photos and the pool is gorgeous! Not speaking about the sea view.
We found the layout of the villa to be excellent with plenty of reception room space as well as well-equipped bedrooms.
The location is also great for easy access to the port of Les Issambres for boat access to the Gulf of St Tropez, as well as to the village of Les Issambres and St Maxime. -
Amazing Stay
Now a good week is already over and we still live off our vacation in the gorgeous Villa Pins d’Italie! It was a super nice two weeks that we could really enjoy! The French weather was at its best and we felt right at home from the first minute!
The house is a dream! So tastefully furnished to a high standard, a grand property with priceless sea views!
No wishes remain unfulfilled, we have feasted and really enjoyed. All in all, once again the right decision!

We stayed in the villa in the first week of August as a family of 5. The sea view is outstanding and frankly rather unique. The garden is huge and fantastic, never seen such a beautiful garden in my previous rentals, same for the sea view. The villa really is a beautiful as it looks in the photos and the pool is great! We found the layout of the villa to be excellent with plenty of reception room space as well as well-equipped bedrooms. The location is also great for easy access to the port for boat access to the Gulf of St Tropez, as well as to the village and St Maxime. The sea view is outstanding and frankly rather unique.

There you will also find small restaurants and bakeries. You don’t necessarily need a car. It's perfect for the exploration of the coast. The villa is very tastefully and comfortably furnished, we felt very comfortable here. The spacious house with its terraces (morning, noon – and evening sun) offers always new retreats for the individual. The five bedrooms were nice and friendly furnished with very good mattresses. There was parking for 4 cars on the fenced property. The kitchen is perfectly furnished. The adjoining utility room very functional. Living-dining room and a small office and very homely and invite you to linger.

Absolutely stunning!
We were very impressed with the villa, it was absolutely stunning! The garden is gorgeous and the sea view is a pure wonder. The photos do not do it justice- far more beautiful in real life. The villa is very well maintained and has a beautiful decoration. Everyone was very professional and friendly from the the housekeeper to the pool maintenance. Great additions to the villa include high quality oven, sound system, American fridge, marble flooring, very very spacious. The villa is also in a great location. A car is even not needed if you want to relax. We did during our trip travel to Monte Carlo, Cannes and St.Tropez and the Villa was the perfect gorgeous antidote to the busy cities.
