Built in 1905, this century-old masterpiece located just 2km from Saint-Paul de Vence, offers guests spacious and comfortable living with some of the most beautiful views of the French Riviera.

Recently renovated with care, the owners have enhanced its modern comforts whilst retaining its original character and charm. The spacious living space on the first floor is a colourful and lively embodiment of the vibrant world outside!

There is a sense of energy throughout the home, inside and out, with large double interior doors allowing conversation and warmth to flow effortlessly throughout, and all manner of thriving plants across the grounds. The living area leads directly onto the first-floor balcony, from which you can enjoy unparalleled views of the surrounding countryside as far as the distant sea.

Meanwhile, on the ground floor, two of the characterful bedrooms have direct access to a terrace decked in plants and flowers of all kinds, providing a close connection with the natural world. All four bedrooms, including two on the first floor, have ensuite bath or shower rooms, each one a little unique but equally comfortable.

Finally, the gem in the crown of this delightful home is the grounds and swimming pool, beautifully landscaped and offering truly breath-taking, panoramic views, taking in both the Mediterranean sea in the distance and the nearby mountains. Whatever you’re into, be it sunbathing by the swimming pool or engaging in lively discussion around the al-fresco dinner table, you will find your perfect spot among the plants and flowers of Maison Verte.

At Maison Verte you are within walking distance to a small handful of restaurants and under 2km from the famous village of Saint Paul de Vence, often considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in Provence.  Regarded as something of a cultural hub, and a popular meeting point for artists and authors, there’s plenty to explore both in the village and in the sublime surrounding landscape.

The historic market town of Vence (5km) is less than ten minutes’ drive away, nestled in the hills just a little north of the villa. Known for its ‘defiantly French and unglossy’ vibe, brimming with galleries and markets and home to the gorgeous Chapelle du Rosaire, it sits within the stunning backdrop of cascading hills and vast vineyards, olive groves and winding rivers.

The dazzling coastline of the French Riviera, with its luscious sandy beaches, dramatic rugged cliffs and glamourous coastal towns is less than twenty minutes away, and the sparkling crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea await you! The exquisite fusion of the nearby Provençal villages, a vibrant coastline sprinkled with glamorous French-Riviera resorts and a totally unique interior landscape make this the ideal holiday spot.

The charming city of Nice (20km) is just half an hour by car with its Promenade du Paillon park running from the city to the sea, flower markets on Cours Saleya and many art galleries and museums.

The stylish and chic city of Cannes is less than 30km away, oozing splendour from La Croisette, the glamour-drenched promenade, many beaches and yet more vibrant nightclubs, of course famous for its international film festival which runs each year in May! Mandelieu La Napoule, just a little south-west of Cannes, is an alternative, beautiful cultural hub with a rugged and rocky coastline that drops dramatically into the sea.

Our most active guests will adore the range of activities on offer nearby. From water-sports to waterparks, hikes to bikes and rivers to rafts. Within half an hour you will find a choice ofgolf clubs including the prestigious Villa Royal Mougins Golf Club.

In the evening head to the coast where you can discover the exciting nightlife from casinos to prestigious bars and clubs as well as the excellent places to dine across the region.

Alternatively, enjoy a range of water-sports along the magical coastline or experience the fantastic scenery on a hike – be sure to take a picnic, there are endless perfect spots to sit, relax, and take in the breath-taking views!

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Arrival time Between 4.00-6.00 p.m. (this may extend until 8.00 p.m. in the summer, on request only).
Departure time 10.00 a.m.
Energy costs included? Yes.
Linen & towels included? No, there is a charge of £12.00 per person per stay for hire of linen and towels.
End of stay cleaning included? No, there is a charge of £17.00 per person per stay (minimum cost £99.00). However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged.
Pets welcome? No.
Heating costs included? Yes, approximately from November to April. During all other periods heating is on request and may be subject to extra charges. Please enquire.
Smoking Allowed? Outside only.
Changeover day Flexible (except July and August which is Saturday).
Minimum stay 7 nights.
