Part of a small community close to village amenities in the countryside of the Côte d'Azur region, Maison Du Bon Temps is an ideal laid-back family holiday home. It sits within charming outside space that offers areas for dining, relaxing and entertainment.

The interior of Maison Du Bon Temps is comfortable and suited to unwinding after days spent enjoying the local area and the coast's sandy beaches. Choose where you want to relax in the open-plan living/dining space. Snuggle up on the sofa to watch television as dinner cooks in the kitchen, or make the most of the quieter area and read by the fire on chilly evenings. There's even a bar for drinks before moving over to the dining table. Doors open straight out into the terrace where you'll find a lovely outdoor seating area.

Three bedrooms in combination with the double sofa bed in the living space mean that Maison Du Bon Temps can accommodate up to eight people. And there's plenty of room for everyone to get together outside - whether that's at the dining table, in the swimming pool, at the seating area or on the boules court. Those in the upper-floor bedroom also have their own balcony terrace for enjoying some private space.

The drive from the villa to the coast takes roughly 30 minutes, with some of the best beaches including those of the Les Issambres; a stretch that runs between Fréjus and Saint-Tropez. The town of Fréjus itself is full of history and culture, with ancient sites to discover and the Archaeological Museum being a fascinating place to spend time.

Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez are both within an hour's drive of the villa, with Sainte-Maxime being slightly quieter and more chilled-out than lively Saint-Tropez. Sandy beaches, a range of water sports and fun parks are all sure to keep children happy and entertained.

Maison Du Bon Temps is in a family-friendly location, within a residential area and close to a range of amenities. A handful of restaurants, shops, a bar and post office are just a five-minute drive away. And one of the nearest attractions, Parc Zoologique (15km), is less than 20 minutes away by car. Children will be delighted to see animals such as monkeys, tigers and lions at this well-known zoo.

For more choice, head to the small town of Roquebrune-sur-Argens (7km). As well as more restaurants, bars and shops on offer, you'll also find the House of Chocolate and Cocoa a fascinating  museum to stroll around. You also have the chance to buy delicious homemade chocolates.

The larger town of Fréjus (15km) is around a 20-minute drive away and is sure to impress history lovers in particular. Sightseeing highlights here include the ruins of a Roman amphitheatre, theatre, aqueduct, the medieval cathedral and the Archaeological Museum.

Les Issambres (25km) runs for 8km along the coast between Fréjus and Saint-Tropez and is dotted with inlets, beaches and rocky coves. Visit the sandy stretch close to the heart of Fréjus (17km) with sea-facing restaurants, ice cream shops and cafes close by. Saint-Aygulf (20km) is another popular beach that's popular with families as it offers plenty of facilities.

A little further down the coast is Sainte-Maxime (30km) with its fun water park, Aqualand. The town's more lively neighbour, famous Saint-Tropez is an hour's drive from the villa. Despite being known for its party scene, it also offers historic sightseeing and interesting museums to explore.

Always popular with families, Parc Zoologique de Fréjus (14km), is less than a 20-minute drive from the villa. Some of the animals you'll see here include elephants, lions, tigers and monkeys.

Aqualand (30km) is located just outside Sainte-Maxime and boasts a range of pools, slides, shops and restaurants. There's also a park for taking a break and enjoying some shade.

For plenty of adrenaline-filled fun, head to Azur Park (41km). This amusement park is less than an hour's drive away and amongst its attractions are a big wheel, roller coaster, water slide and lots of side show games.

Security deposit €1000 paid in cash to the owner upon arrival and refunded upon departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m. Other arrival times on request only - please enquire.
Departure time Before 10.00 a.m.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Pool opening dates? The pool is open approximately April to end-October. Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming.
