Overview
Villa Bravo is set in a private and prestigious domaine, just 3km from the pretty village of Mougins where you can pick up your breakfast baguettes, take a light lunch at one of its many fine restaurants or browse in an art gallery or two. It’s also just a short drive from glamourous Cannes and the many wonders of the French Riviera.
There is such a feeling of light and space within this contemporary air-conditioned villa with its nearly open plan living areas cleverly sectioned for connection and privacy. Colourful prints on white walls and some fabulous lighting add warmth and elegance with modern furniture and the curved staircase blending well with the villa’s minimalist style. The kitchen and dining area opens out onto the terrace and pool enabling indoors and out to seamlessly blend.
With its five comfortable en-suite bedrooms, Villa Bravo is just right for a group of family or friends. The master bedroom has a dressing room and doors leading out to the terrace and pool whilst one of the bedrooms is in a separate annexe with a kitchenette, ideal for members of the party who might appreciate that extra bit of independence.
Surrounded by trees, there is plenty of space in the large garden planted with Mediterranean flora and hedged for extra seclusion. Whether al-fresco dining, swimming in the inviting pool or lounging on the gorgeous terrace, it is a beautiful setting.
When you are ready for the beach, head towards Cannes where Boulevard de la Croisette curves for a mile around the coast, lined with superb beaches, extravagant hotels, designer bars and glitzy boutiques. Take a ferry to the idyllic Lérins Islands to find tranquillity away from the bustle of the city or drive eastwards towards Juan Les Pins and Cap d’Antibes.
There is plenty to enjoy inland - a game of golf at an exclusive course near Mougins, hikes through the hills and forests, sampling the perfumes of Grasse, lunching at a pavement café in Valbonne or buying olive oil from the tiny hill village of Opio.
Whether relaxing by the beach or spending time exploring the many idyllic villages and towns, this is the perfect place to come home to when staying in the glorious Côte d'Azur.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa BravoIn a prestigious location just a short drive from Cannes and the beaches of the Côte d'Azur, Villa Bravo is set in a private domaine with 24 hours security, just 3km from the charming medieval village of Mougins.
The village is surrounded by the Valmasque forest and its hilltop setting gives fine views across to the Baie de Cannes, the Lérins Islands, Grasse and the Pre-Alpes. Flowers fill the ancient narrow streets with their many gastronomic restaurants and art galleries. Artists and celebrities have always lived here - Picasso stayed here for the last years of his life in the priory next to Notre Dame de Vie Chapel.
Mougins is also renowned for its golf courses, especially the exclusive Par 71 Cannes Mougins Golf Club for which the experienced can obtain temporary membership - there are plenty of other courses to try out in the surrounding area and beyond too.
Cannes (8km) is glamorous all year long, not just during the annual film festival when famous stars pose on the 24 steps of red carpet. Boulevard de la Croisette is one of the most iconic streets in France, curving for a mile round the coast and lined with sandy beaches, luxurious hotels, designer bars and expensive boutiques. It’s definitely the place to spot celebrities shopping in the Rue d’Antibes or lounging on their huge yachts or private beaches.
Ferries can transport you away from the city to the peace of two of the largest Lérins Islands - Sainte-Marguerite has some lovely beaches and interesting old buildings. Head eastwards along the coast towards the beautiful, forested Cap d’Antibes peninsular which lies between the chic resort of Juan-Les-Pins (13km) and the charming old town with its super-yacht marina at Antibes (15km).
Take a day trip into the hinterland and visit Grasse (14km), the unofficial perfume capital of the world. There are tours available at the most famous perfume houses and even the chance to create your own brand. Olfactory senses satisfied, it is lovely to just wander around the pretty streets and admire the artisan shops and little boutiques.
Also close to Grasse is Opio, a tiny village perched on a hill where roses and jasmine are grown for the Grasse perfume industry and a very large olive grove produces delicious oil which can be purchased at the mill, one of the few remaining in this region.
Valbonne (8km) is a beautiful medieval market town in a verdant Mediterranean valley. Its historic centre has been restored and as you wander past the ochre stone houses and cascading bougainvillea, you are bound to come across a little restaurant with tables in the street. The market on a Friday morning is not to be missed.
Keen hikers can follow the woodland trail along the Brague river between Valbonne and Biot, another stunning hilltop town best known for its tradition of “bubble” glassblowing and its museum dedicated to Cubist artist Fernand Léger.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThis is a fantastic spot for kids and young people, not far from the excitement of Cannes but also near some idyllic towns and villages with opportunities for hiking, biking and horse-riding.
There are many fantastic beaches along this part of the French Riviera with a huge range of water sports to enjoy such as kayaking, paddle-boarding and wind-surfing. Palm Beach, for example, is far from the crowds of La Croisette and ideal for families and windsurfers.
Take a boat trip from Cannes, either a sight-seeing excursion along the coast or a ferry to the idyllic Lérins Islands.
Closer to home, the Eco’park in Mougins has interactive exhibits, a small café and a lovely wooden playground suitable for all ages up to 12.
In nearby Parc de la Valmasque there are woodland walks with picnic and children’s play areas. On the edge of the parc is Étang de Fontmerle, a very large pond where lotus flowers bloom from July to September and there are many bird species for keen ornithologists.
Another great place for families, Lac de Saint-Cassien is a picturesque reservoir with pedal boats, fishing and a chance to swim as well as many other outdoor activities.
