Villa Sur La Cote

Villa Sur La Cote is a contemporary sea front villa located on the Cap Corse peninsula in the north of the island. With villages and hiking trails to discover nearby, this is the perfect base for your Corsican getaway.

The home is situated in a hamlet setting with a few other houses surrounding it and some restaurants and shops close by. None of these neighbouring buildings impact the villa’s breath-taking views however as the home looks directly over the dazzling blue sea. You can enjoy these staggering vistas from the garden, the terraces and from the vast windows all around the house. As well as sea views, from inside the villa you can look out at the lovely garden. With a private, heated pool, cosy outdoor seating areas and a summer kitchen to cook and dine al-fresco, the garden has everything you could need to spend lazy days together in the sun.

As you head inside the villa the warm light flows through the home from the sliding doors. The home has been tastefully decorated with neutral tones, and modern furniture. The decorative touches such as the art works make the house feel like a welcoming family home where you can unwind and spend time together making memories. As well as being a beautiful space, the villa has everything you could need during your stay including Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and even board games for a relaxed evening in.

The main living area is located on the first floor and opens out on to spacious terrace with amazing views. Here you will find a large sofa, TV, feature fireplace and a dining table. The kitchen is also situated in this space and is a sociable space for chatting while cooking up a tasty breakfast for your party.

Nine guests can be accommodated in comfort at Villa Sur La Cote, across four bedrooms. There are three double bedrooms, two of which boast en-suite bathrooms, plus a bedroom with three single beds which would be ideal for a group of friends or three kids to share.

If you simply cannot wait to take a dip in the sea then just walk down the private steps which lead right into the refreshing sea in front of the villa. Nearby, Bastia beach (5km) is a stunning pebbled beach or there is Plage de l'Arinella which is a quieter, long sandy beach.

If you are a lover of nature then make sure to pay some attention to Corsica’s stunning inland landscapes too, which are especially dramatic on Cap Cote. The rugged, mountainous terrain is lined with walking and hiking trails which pass through forests, around quaint villages and along towering cliff faces. If you are an experienced hiker then just set off with your map but if you are a beginner then you can book onto guided hikes with knowledgeable local guides.

When you want to do a spot of shopping or dine out in the evening then the historic city of Bastia is just 5km away and has lots to see and do. If you prefer a smaller village then you could try Erbalunga which is a pedestrianised fishing village 6km away from the villa.
