This stunning apartment is in the ideal location to explore the bustling town of Biarritz - a beautiful sandy beach, and the town’s vibrant centre are only a short walk away. Wander around the local area, discovering the wide selection of eateries and bars that are in close proximity.   

Every inch of this eclectic home is decorated with meticulous attention to detail. Cool artworks hang on the walls, bringing a French flair to the rooms. Funky lamps, hanging lights and unique ornaments are carefully dotted around, creating feeling of elegance – even the large vintage radiators add to the overall style.

Guests will particularly love the communal living area. The living/dining room opens out to form one big area and the kitchen sits in its own alcove with a breakfast bar. This large space is ideal for groups who want to spend time together; you can prepare food in the fully-equipped kitchen while watching loved ones play a game of table football. With a TV, DVD Player and stocked bookshelf, you can enjoy winding down after a long day of exploring Biarritz.

Nestled amongst the narrow lanes near the coast, a short walk takes you to the town’s popular centre. There is an abundance of restaurants selling delicious local cuisine and bars scattered across the shore. With over six kilometres of coastline, this wonderful seaside town is home to various sandy beaches. Plage de la Côte des Basques is the closest beach where surfers from all around the world come to ride the waves. If you fancy giving it a go yourself you can try out the various surf schools available. For those who prefer the more relaxing pass-time of sunbathing, La Grande Plage is the town’s main beach with golden sand and lots of sunbeds.

With a picturesque coastline and breathtaking countryside and mountain vistas inland, this region is ideal for active groups who love the fresh sea air. There are a variety of activities you can get up to in the Basque country; from exhilarating water-sports to wine tasting. Other excursions include walking, cycling, canoeing, horse-back riding and golf – enough to keep the whole party occupied!

Les Toiles is nestled near the centre of Biarritz, a beautiful seaside town with over six kilometres of coastline.

The closest sandy beach to the apartment is Plage de la Côte des Basques. Its golden sand and large waves have made it a haven for surfers who travel from all over to practise their sport. If you want to learn how to ride the waves yourself, there are various surfing schools dotted about which teach people of all ages and abilities. Biarritz' main beach, La Grande Plage, is also worth a visit; made popular with both tourists and locals thanks to its stunning large stretch of sand and backed by some famous Art Deco buildings.

Downtown Biarritz, less than a kilometre away, is filled with a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a variety of eateries in close proximity, serving up local delicacies such as  seafood, using fresh ingredients. Fancy eating back at the apartment? Visit Les Halles market and pick up some popular Basque ingredients and wonderful fresh produce.

Whether you like buying yourself a treat or prefer to browse, Port Vieux has various shops to choose from. Rue Port Vieux is the main high street, with French boutiques and quaint antique stores. Wander through the street while taking in the cool Art Deco buildings in between your spree. With its own theatre, casino and swimming pool, Port Vieux is a great location to spend the day with loved ones.

If you fancy something different, drive around 20 minutes (or catch the 30-minute bus from central Biarritz) to Bayonne (10km), a wonderful town that embodies French culture. Indulge in a glass of wine in one of the bars or taste some local dishes in the range of restaurants. The town’s gorgeous river front is the perfect place to walk off your dinner, taking in the natural beauty and wildlife. There are also several picnic spots where you can enjoy some snacks with loved ones while admiring the scenery.

Building sand castles on the beach is a top holiday favourite for little ones. With six kilometres of coastline, Biarritz has a variety of spots to choose from. The kids will love how close this apartment is to Plage de la Côte des Basques, a lovely sandy beach with its own surfing school. No matter their ability, youngsters can learn how to surf or watch on as the pros do their tricks on the water. The most popular beach is La Grande Plage, known for its large size and beauty.

If you are bringing toddlers, make sure you take them on a ride of the quaint road-train that travels along Biarritz shore for thirty minutes. They can wave at people as you take a tour of the stunning surroundings. Older children will love Biarritz’s lighthouse, where they can climb over 200 stairs to the very top which boasts panoramic views of the amazing town.

For a treat like no other, take the kids to Sare (26km) where they can take the rickety wooden train up Rhune mountain. Together you can admire its breathtaking summit and the incredible views of the Pyrénées – a sight they’ll never forget!

Visit St Jean Luz (30km) for a day trip the youngsters will definitely love. They can jump until their heart’s content in the trampoline parks or try out another exciting road-train that takes you to more sandy beaches. After along day exploring, the whole family can enjoy a game of mini golf and see who is champion!

Security deposit €1000 paid to the owner by bank transfer two weeks before arrival and refunded three weeks after departure at the very latest, subject to full inspection.
