A relaxed three-bedroom villa with private pool, free WiFi and private parking close to Coral Bay in Paphos, Cyprus.
Villa Hamidi is a lovely home away from home with an open plan living area. Settle in front of the cable TV and relax after a long day out exploring, or cook up a storm in the well equipped kitchen – complete with dishwasher, microwave, oven & hob and ample fridge. There’s a well-sized dining table where you can serve up your feast and enjoy views out into the garden. For added convenience, the villa also has laundry facilities – great for longer stays or messy kids!
Outside is a charming patio area complete with barbecue for outdoor chefs and a shaded dining area so you can eat lunch out of the hot midday sun. There’s also a fantastic large pool for morning dips, late night swims or family fun – as well as sun loungers where you can catch some rays or use the umbrella for shade while you flick though your favourite magazines. The villa also features a pretty garden with lots of nice plants and lush greenery, giving the outside area that authentic Mediterranean feel.
On the ground floor you’ll also find the first of the three bedrooms – a twin with ample storage space and sliding doors out into the garden. Then, following the marble stairs up from the open plan living area you’ll arrive at the two upstairs bedrooms. There’s a comfortable twin with triple wardrobes and its own private balcony. While bedroom three is the villa’s double, with windows on all sides and whitewashed walls for a bright and peaceful environment.
The other amenities include two bathrooms, one with a shower as well as another with separate WC. Plus there is air conditioning throughout, or heating if you decide to visit in the colder months. There are also towels available for your stay and private parking.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa HamidiCyprus is the Mediterranean’s third largest island and has a population of 1 million people. The island is divided up into six districts, and Villa Hamidi is found in the district of Paphos, right by Coral Bay. It’s a convenient half-hour drive from Paphos airport and only twenty minutes from the main harbour town of Paphos. Here you’ll find plenty of lovely cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques as well as spectacular views across the Med.
Paphos also has a rich history and widely known for its connection to the goddess Aphrodite. Today it is a UNESCO world heritage site, as well as being a popular tourist destination, with lots of cultural landmarks and attractions to visit.

Paphos Old Town
The characteristic Cypriot town and was voted European Capital of Culture in 2017, highlighting its status as a true gem of the Mediterranean. So if you’ve been dreaming of wandering through picturesque streets, stopping to take photos for the ‘gram at every turn, and browsing quaint artisanal boutiques you’ll find them realised here in the Old Town of Paphos.
Kato Paphos Archaeological Park
One for the history and nature buffs, besides it’s gorgeous landscape Paphos archaeological park offers some beautiful ancient ruins you won’t want to miss out on. Visit the houses of Dionysus, Theseus, Aion and Orpheus to see stunningly preserved mosaic floors with scenes from Greek myths, such the famous Theseus and the minotaur. There are also the remains of a Roman marketplace, small Roman theatre.
Tomb of the Kings
With gorgeous views out across the Mediterranean Sea, the Tombs of the Kings is a necropolis dating back to the 4th century BC. It’s constructed in a series of caves and chambers carved out of sandstone rock, and while there aren’t actually any kings emtombed in the cemetery, you will find graves of local dignitaries and high-ranking officials. At only 2.50 euros to enter, this attraction is a total bargain.

Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Hamidi has the perfect set up for a family holiday with its two twin bedrooms that are perfect for kids to share as well as relaxed home-from-home atmosphere. Kids will love swimming outside in the large pool, playing hide and seek in the garden or reading their favourite book under the shaded veranda. The villa is also super close to Coral Bay, one of Paphos’s most popular family beach locations:
Coral Bay
With calm shallow waters for little ones to paddle in, as well as water sports galore for adventure-hungry older kids, Coral Bay is the perfect choice for families. There are plenty of cafes and bars to grab a drink or an ice cream. Or give your family an experience to remember with a diving expedition or a catamaran trip!
Paphos Zoo
At Paphos zoo you can see endangered white lions, mandrill monkeys, venomous snakes and lots of other species! There’s also a fantastic bird show on three times a day, harking back to the times when the zoo was a private bird sanctuary. Kids will learn more about the different parrot and owl species as well as watching them do amazing tricks! Children’s tickets to the zoo are 8.50 euros and adult tickets are 16.50 euros.
Aphrodite Waterpark
Does your family have a thirst for a thrill? Then get yourselves to Aphrodite Waterpark! There are a variety of exciting slides including the 50ft Free Fall, the Kamikaze, Gravity, the twisty turny Adventure slide, the Super Volcano, the Wet Bubble bouncer and the brand-new Crazy Cone. And younger kids can join in the fun with attractions such as the lazy river, wave pool, family rafting and pirate ship splash pool. Kids under 3 go free and you can book online to get a 10% discount on your family ticket.
