Villa Antracit is contemporary, beautifully decorated and furnished and offers excellent outside space, distant sea views and some wonderful wellness treats, including a sauna and hot tub. Interior designers have waved their magic wands, creating a stunning, stylish villa that is very comfortable. Most of the interior walls are dazzling white and adorned with vibrant, contemporary art matching the colour schemes of the luxurious soft furnishings. It is light and airy and will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face on arrival. The villa is immaculate.

Stobrec is built on a peninsula with a gorgeous sandy beach. It was once the Greek colony Epetion, which is evident by the city walls. In the centre of the town, you will discover the remains of a large, early Christian basilica St Lawrence. It is a wonderful location, close to the fabulous Old Town of Split but with some excellent restaurants, cafes, moorings for tourist boats, watersports and shops of its own. In August, the town celebrates the feast of St Lawrence with traditional folk festivities. Villa Antracit enjoys breathtaking views of Split, Stobrec and the sea from its enviable hillside location.

The villa's main living space is open plan in design with a very trendy black and wood kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar, top-notch appliances, and a dining table and chairs that match the kitchen. It is a gorgeous space with plenty of cabinetry and wine storage! It is a very sociable kitchen where guests can keep the chefs in your group company with a chilled glass of wine. The living area is bright and cheerful with its fantastic designer corner sofa and brilliant, colourful artwork. Guests can enjoy the huge television after a busy day sightseeing or head through the enormous doors to the terrace.

Villa Antracit’s outdoor space is heavenly, with an excellent pool surrounded by loungers, alfresco dining and a hot tub where you can enjoy the stunning views, the glorious sunsets and later sip champagne under the stars. It is gorgeous! If that is not enough of a treat, you can pop inside for a session in the sauna!

The five bedrooms are an absolute delight, with sumptuous beds adorned with luxury linens and immaculate, designer ensuite bathrooms. The master is a fabulous penthouse suite, so you may have to pick straws for that one! No one could be disappointed in this villa, though! If you can tear yourselves away from this dreamy villa, the delights of Split, the Croatian coast, the Biokovo mountain, its national parks and its islands await!

The town’s atmospheric, narrow streets are brimming with ancient monuments, charming restaurants, cafes, bars and a good variety of shops. Split oozes a laid-back vibe. The main city beach, Bacvice, is both a perfect place to relax during the day and a popular night-time jaunt in the evening. You can easily take trips to the stunning islands of Hvar, Vis and Brac from Split. Popular with the rich and famous, Hvar is glitzy and boasts a marina full of luxury yachts. You can even rent see-through kayaks so that when you are paddling down the river you can explore the flora and fauna. Thrilling rafting takes place in the northern part of the river where there are exciting rapids and challenging waterfalls to descend. White water rafting takes place in a section of 10km starting north of Kuciceand passes one of the prettiest beaches, Stuzica. The rafting ends in the village of Blato na Cetini which is a great lunch stop. Canyoning is not for the feint hearted!
