Overview
The wonderful Villa Teni was originally built in 1921 but was totally renovated in 2011 into a modern, open-plan living accommodation. The villa is situated on the most fabulous plot just 2km from the centre of beautiful Labin on the Istrian peninsula. Not only do you have spectacular, breathtaking views, but you also have your own floodlit tennis court and mini-golf course! That will certainly make you popular!
Villa Teni’s garden is incredible. The 7000 sqm plot is on the side of the hill, so there are various levels. You have fabulous lush green lawns and an amazing tennis court on the lower level with a wildlife garden where magnificent planting enhances the views. On a higher level, you have the fantastic, unusually-shaped infinity pool, a terrace with superior furniture, including a covered luxury outdoor dining suite and fabulous sun loungers plus a brick barbecue. To the side of the villa, you have outdoor lounge furniture, and on an upper level, you have the amazing mini-golf. There are various gardens all around the villa and breathtaking views of the gardens and countryside can be seen from various points. You are away from everything which feels amazing.
The furnishings in the living, dining and kitchen area are so tasteful and comfortable. There is a lovely open-hearth fireplace. The kitchen features a modern yet cosy. Another element of this villa is the second dining room that has been styled with the features of a traditional taverna in mind - it also counts with a second kitchen! One of the double bedrooms is on this floor with a lovely shower room.
Upstairs there is a king bedroom and two doubles - all with modern, contemporary, pristine en-suite bathrooms. This was a fantastic renovation. Everything is so well maintained — the bedrooms exit to terraces offering fabulous views of the pool, gardens and the stunning countryside.
Villa Teni is absolutely wonderful with its amenities and space. Be careful though, as you could very easily stay put and not see any of this wonderful Istrian peninsula!

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa TeniVilla Teni is 2km from the centre of the interesting hilltop town of Labin. Labin is divided into two parts, the Old Town which is a network of winding cobbled streets and quaintly restored pastel houses overlooking the Kvarner coast and a new town which contains most of the shops at the bottom of the hill. If you climb up to the Fortress Fortica on top of the town, you will delight in the panoramic view of the rocky Cres Island and the resort of Rabac below. This charming town is well known for its coffee shops, fine seafood restaurants and a rich cultural life including summer concerts and festivals and wonderful jazz and classical music.
The villa is 5km west of Rabac. Rabac used to be a simple fishing village, but with its pretty, white pebble beach and waterfront promenade it is now really popular. Girandella Beach is set in a sheltered cove and proudly waves a Blue Flag. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants as well as jet-skis and banana boats to hire. The inflatable iceberg sea playground is a great hit with youngsters. Boat trips sail from the harbour to the island of Cres where you can see a 120-strong school of wild dolphins playing in the water.
From Rabac and the villa, you can very quickly get to the buzzy resort of Pula along the main road. Pula is situated in the valley of seven hills. Pretty cobbled streets meet the fabulous Roman buildings. The famous amphitheatre was built between 27-68AD and rivals Rome’s Colosseum. It is the only remaining Roman amphitheatre in the world with a complete circle wall. Pula is also famous for its amazing, electric festivals. Dimensions and Outlook are the two best known ones.
At Rovinj, you get an atmospheric, lovely Venetian Old Town where you can wander the cobbled streets and admire the work in the artist’s workshops on Grisia Street. It is lovely and definitely worth a trip.

Region
This heart-shaped peninsula was the birthplace of modern Croatian tourism, and it’s easy to see why. Its history has bestowed it with Italian sophistication, most obviously seen in pastel-painted coastal towns, like romantic Rovinj. But, tear yourself away from the Istrian coast, through the vineyards, olive groves, and dense forests, and you will discover brilliantly preserved medieval towns and villages, where cobbled streets reveal quaint galleries, sweet squares and sea-views.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Teni is perfect for children. Not only will the pool, tennis and mini-golf keep them occupied for hours, there is also a table tennis table and so many areas of the garden to play in. It is fantastic! There are cycling and hiking paths very close to the villa too.
Children will love Girandella Beach. They might get their first chance to snorkel. The sea is quite cold, but it is so clear. There is a good choice of watersports, and the inflatable playground is great fun. In Rabac, Four Elements Art of Adventure operate a range of wonderful activities. You can kayak, paddleboard and much more. The instructors are very professional and are likely to point out sea urchins and so on to make the day more interesting. Klinica Boat Excursions offer unforgettable trips to watch dolphins and visit beautiful remote spots. They will give you a real pirate experience. You can also take a wooden sailing ship trip or ride in a yellow semi-submarine with an underwater cabin.
A visit to the wonderful Glavani Park is always a hit. There is a wonderful high rope climbing course among the treetops and a thrilling zipline. The 11-metre drop from the 3G high swing will certainly get the adrenaline going! The shows are great fun as well.
Another exciting trip is to Dinopark Funtana where children will wander around the life-size moving dinosaurs. The Dino cinema, circus shows, mini amusement park, shooting range and playground are all entertaining.
At Labin, you can visit the stables and take a horse ride enjoying the views of Labin and Rabac. You need to make an appointment for this. In the romantic village of Sumber, you can visit many animals on the bio farm Drijade. There are around 70 goats, horses, a cute Vietnamese pig called Roza and piglets, ducks, chickens, dogs and cats. You can buy goat milk and cheese, goat curd and whey from the shop.
