Overview
This modern villa is the perfect place to call home as you explore Istria. This is a cosy home away from home, located in the beautiful village of Krnica.
As you enter the villa, you are welcomed by a bright, airy space that embraces minimalism but doesn’t feel cold or lacklustre - it feels like a spacious and cosy home. The open plan living and dining areas allow for optimal enjoyment of the house, and the people you are travelling with. The living room has a large sofa; perfect come movie night.
The kitchen is located between the living area and dining area, meaning everyone can always be together, whether they are cooking up a feast boasting delicious local delicacies, watching something on the satellite television or playing cards at the dining room table.
Meals can be prepared with ease thanks to the well-equipped kitchen, that has everything (including the kitchen sink) from the fridge and freezer to a coffee machine and microwave.
The villa can accommodate nine guests, and there are five bedrooms for everyone to rest their weary heads. Each room offers a double bed, and some have en-suites. In total, there are four bathrooms throughout the home.
Unsurprisingly, the highlight of the home is the outdoor area, which takes full advantage of the beautiful, remote area. Touches of the Italian heritage of Istria can be seen in the brick wall at the end of the garden, which houses a barbeque, ready to create perfect meals that can be enjoyed alfresco on the outdoor dining area. Of course, the highlight of the backyard is the large pool, which is lined by sun chairs.
This villa is located 200m from the centre. It offers the feel of a remote cottage, while also having a prime location to everything you would and could need on holiday.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa CapekaIstria is located on the far north of Croatia, and it is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic sea. It is on the Italian border, and there is a lot of Italian influence evident in the area.
Sun-soakers, history-buffs and food-focused travellers alike visit Istria, as many of the towns and areas are rich in secluded beaches, historical must-sees and some of the finest delicacies - including olive oil, truffles and perfect wine.
Istria is becoming increasingly popular as holiday goers are looking for less-travelled areas, spots that are off the beaten track. And it is no surprise that Istria is an up and coming holiday spot. The city has varied climate because of the unique positioning of the peninsula, from a continental environment around Central Istria to a Mediterranean climate in along the Western and Southern Coast.
This villa is located in Krnica, an area in inland Istria; it is a slightly secluded area, perfect for those who are seeking peace and stunning natural attractions. There are many towns nearby though, Pula, the central city of Istria, is about 25 kilometres southeast, and there are countless sights there that are well worth a visit, including a well preserved Roman amphitheatre.
Duga Uvala, a well-known summer holiday spot is just 3 kilometres away, offering stunning beaches and many recreational sports, such as scuba diving and paddle boarding.

Region
This heart-shaped peninsula was the birthplace of modern Croatian tourism, and it’s easy to see why. Its history has bestowed it with Italian sophistication, most obviously seen in pastel-painted coastal towns, like romantic Rovinj. But, tear yourself away from the Istrian coast, through the vineyards, olive groves, and dense forests, and you will discover brilliantly preserved medieval towns and villages, where cobbled streets reveal quaint galleries, sweet squares and sea-views.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesTravelling with kids does not need to be a stress, especially when you have a home away from home they can roam around from dusk till dawn, to their heart’s content.
This villa is a dream for children, with a large lawn for them to run around to a private pool they can swim in until their fingers and toes prune. This home is also fenced and gated, meaning parents can rest assured that the children are safe.

This villa is also equipped with many amenities that make travelling even more accessible, such as bathtubs for young children, a washing machine and a baby cot.
Istria itself is also a prime spot to visit as a family, there are beautiful and safe beaches, towns and villages boasting incredible history - with an enchanting touch - and family-friendly activities such as playgrounds, a theme park and water sports for all ages.
