Villa Anka is an impressive home in the lovely area of Istria. The home’s garden flourishes with gorgeous Mediterranean plants, flowers and trees as well as having an immaculately-kept green lawn for you to stretch out on.
The wonderful garden can be enjoyed from one of the various exterior seating and dining areas. An elegant sheltered dining area for eight on the patio is ideal for sociable evening dinners. Tasty al fresco meals can be prepared on the exterior barbeque and sunbeds dotted around the glistening private pool are excellent for catching those sizzling sun rays.
Inside, ultra-stylish vintage-inspired furnishings complement the neutral colour palette and vibrant modern wall art. Shiny marble floors and artistic statues emphasize luxury. All interior furnishings are positioned perfectly to accentuate space. The bedrooms exude tranquillity and let in plenty of lovely natural light through the large windows. Guests will be able to luxuriate themselves in the refined bathrooms that come complete with a range of L’Occitane cosmetics, inviting you to spend the evening pampering yourself.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a bowl of delicious seasonal fruit as well as receiving free entry into the famous Lanterna Premium Resort, boasting a great range of pools, slides and water activities. During your stay at Villa Anka, you will have lovely and welcoming hosts on hand to offer suggestions for local activities, restaurants and shops.

About the surrounding area of Villa AnkaThe adventurous types will adore Zeus Faber Diving Center just a 12-minute drive away in the popular village of Lanterna. Open from ten in the morning to five at night from April to October, the centre offers opportunities to dive in the dazzling blue seas. Boasting high-quality equipment and knowledgeable staff, the centre provides dives from the shore, snorkelling and dives under the twinkling night sky. Boats can also take you to the nearby towns of Vrsar and Poreč to dive. On quieter days, you may even have the boat all to yourself - simply blissful.
Mramornica Cave otherwise known as the "Marble Cave" is an enchanting and unforgettable experience only a 22-minute drive away from Villa Anka and is one of the largest in Istria. With safe paths created, the cave is a mesmerising step into natural history.
Mramornica was first discovered in the 18th century but was known long before that by locals during ancient times. Famous travel writer Alberto Fortis visited the cave during the 1700s and wrote about its epic beauty, helping it to become a desirable destination to discover.
Inside, coloured dripstones are particularly attractive parts of the cave as well as large stalagmites. The cave's temperature provides a cooling retreat from the hot Croatian summer sunshine and refreshments can be purchased from a small nearby cafe.

Region
This heart-shaped peninsula was the birthplace of modern Croatian tourism, and it’s easy to see why. But, tear yourself away from the Istrian coast, through the vineyards, olive groves, and dense forests, and you will discover brilliantly preserved medieval towns and villages, where cobbled streets reveal quaint galleries, sweet squares and sea-views.

Appropriate for kids of all ages, the adventure playground boasts zip lines, giant swings and human table football with wonderful instructors ensuring safety at all times. Located in a magnificent oak forest, the park is also the perfect place for everyone to unwind in by grabbing a drink and snack from the bar and sitting at one of the wooden tables.
