Villa Margot is nestled in beautiful grounds, surrounded by ancient olive trees, next to farmland close to Mlini, just 15 minutes drive from Dubrovnik. The hosts of Villa Margot are incredible. They will invite you to their farm to pick the fresh vegetables from the organic garden, and they will even give your young ones rides on their small donkey. The hosts also offer a catering service to prepare a delicious authentic Croatian meal on arrival or during the week, should you wish. How wonderful is that!
This beautifully maintained stone villa is situated on the hillside where you will enjoy sensational views of the countryside and the sea. The sunsets are superb. You can relax with absolute privacy and tranquillity, connect with glorious nature and enjoy this very special spot in the Dubrovnik countryside. Villa Margot is approached along a gravel drive from the country road and through elegant gates into the main driveway and parking area. You will be greeted with a maze of gorgeous stone-walled paths that lead you to the villa and its wonderful stepped terraces and decks.
The villa's ground floor is home to the open plan living area, a shower room, cloakroom, and three heavenly bedrooms. The living space is gorgeous with a beautiful vaulted ceiling, fabulous contemporary furnishings and a stunning, state-of-the-art kitchen. The chef in your holiday group will be delighted. The interior design of this sensational villa is stylish, elegant and modern in soft, natural colour palettes. One of the double bedrooms enjoys a beautiful ensuite bathroom and a gorgeous vaulted, wooden beamed ceiling. The other two bedrooms are equally delightful, with exquisite linens adorning the comfortable beds.
Upstairs, you will find a lovely, atmospheric fourth bedroom. It has a connected bathroom, so it is ideal if you have extra guests. The upper floor opens to a wonderful terrace surrounded by olive trees, the perfect place to disappear with your holiday read.
To the left of the main building, you will find an extraordinary, fully-equipped and beautifully designed summer kitchen. In front of that is a stunning covered alfresco dining area where you can feast from the stone fireplace or summer kitchen while enjoying the cool hillside breeze. The main terrace is enormous, enjoying stunning views, an outstanding swimming pool, an alfresco lounge area and plenty of luxurious loungers where you can fully relax. You could not possibly be disappointed with Villa Margot. It is a true Croatian gem where you will be looked after so well.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa MargotVilla Margot is located on the hillside close to Mlini, on the Dubrovnik Riviera. It is a countryside location, next to a farm with easy access to the beach. Guests enjoy wonderful panoramic countryside and sea views. This is definitely a place to be at one with nature.
Mlini is a small, idyllic fishing village located half way between Cavtat and Dubrovnik with a charming harbour, a lovely pebble and sand beach, cafes and restaurants and the most stunning sunsets.
Mlini lies between numerous fresh water wellsprings that used to power flour mills in the past which is where it got its name from. You can hop on a water ferry to visit Dubrovnik Old Town from here if you do not want to drive. You can also get to Lokrum where some of Game of Thrones was filmed and enjoy a relaxing, peaceful day with a delicious picnic. You can enjoy the natural surroundings and wildlife and also visit the popular saltwater swimming spot named the ‘Dead Sea’.
The medieval, priceless pearl gracing the south shores of the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik, is incredibly popular. With its breathtaking natural beauty, rich historical heritage and fantastic array of restaurants, cafes, bars and unique shops, it is absolutely beautiful. Visitors soak up the romantic atmosphere of its narrow limestone streets, admire the countless monuments, taste the delicious city’s rich gastronomic delights and be left breathless with the harmonious, awe-inspiring beauty of the Old Town. You can taste signature dishes such as rozata, kotonjata or black risotto along with local wines. If you are lucky you will get a table by the harbour.
Cavtat, 20km south of Dubrovnik and only 22km from the border of the stunning Montenegro is very pretty and rich in cultural history. It boasts beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters and the many ancient necropolises dotted around. There are several museums and galleries.
You will find some lovely restaurants with rich, local gastronomic offerings. The hosts of Villa Margot are happy to help you rent a speed boat or small yacht to explore the stunning Elaphiti islands and the beautiful coastline, brimming with caves and magical coves.

Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Margot is a heavenly option for families. With the hosts so friendly and offering donkey rides and introductions to their farm animals, your children will be overjoyed with their holiday. The hosts can supply you with fresh milk and eggs, an excellent job for your little ones to collect them. The villa is extremely comfortable and very spacious. The swimming pool will surely be a highlight. There are some lovely walks through the countryside.
The seaside village of Mlini is delightful. It enjoys a lovely beach and several cafes and restaurants. The Dubrovnik Riviera is a fabulous pick for families with safe beaches, impressive hiking trails, biking tracks, a clutch of interactive museums and lots of fortresses for would-be knights and princesses to explore.
Exploring the Elephiti islands by boat, discovering the scenic bays, hidden caves and golden sand beaches is a wonderful day out for children. The hosts are happy to help you rent a boat. Kolocep Island is known for its architecture and villas and its unspoilt bay. The island of Lopud is home to lovely sandy beaches and ancient monasteries lined with olive groves. It is truly idyllic. On Sipan Island children can explore the local wildlife and enjoy the crystal blue sea. If you decide to visit the islands, you can swim, snorkel and make magical holiday memories.
In Dubrovnik Old Town, your children will discover the wonders of Harry Potter land and Game of Thrones land. You can book a Game of Thrones walking tour or a Game of Thrones escape room to challenge yourselves. Children love walking the high walls, visiting the aquarium and taking the cable car to the top of the mountain.
