Casa Landa is a beautiful, stylish newly renovated property in a prime position in Krizni Rat, a quiet location just a 15 minute walk from Hvar Town. If you are looking for somewhere with stunning views, close to the town yet peaceful at the end of the day, Casa Landa may just be the perfect place.
It is an usually property in that there are two separate open plan living/dining areas complete with impeccable kitchens and furnishings so this might really suit two small families, families with older children wanting their own space or friends. There are 3 bedrooms and the house can take up to eight guests.
A great deal of thought has been put into the details of this house. It is luxurious and very modern with its beautiful wooden and tiled floors, swishy sofas and very smart bathrooms. On the ground floor, there is a king bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower. The living space here opens directly to the stunning decked private pool area. It is a beautiful place to admire the dazzling views, gazing over to the Pakleni Island. Perfect at the end of a busy day for a dip in the small infinity pool and a glass of wine lazing on the ultra comfortable sunbeds! You can’t fail to notice the wonderful fragrance from the pine trees all around.
The second living area is on the attic floor. Again with a very modern kitchen and dining space and corner sofa. There is a fabulous terrace, again with panoramic views over the sparkling azure sea. The two further bedrooms are equally well fitted with separate bathrooms.
There is parking at the property though you do not necessarily need a car staying so close to Hvar Town.
Just 100 meters from the sea this is a wonderful, smart property with great care taken. It would be a perfect place if friends or family members wanted a little space from each other at the end of the day and so appealing to have a lovely little infinity pool to pop in.

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa LandaKrizni Rat, in the district of Krizni Luca, is a quiet, popular residential area just away from Hvar Town. It is possible to walk along the path to the Hvar harbour which is wonderful to look at with the plush boats. Krizni Rat itself has a lovely pebbled and stone beach with benches, welcome shady spots and a restaurant. It is a lovely spot to watch the boats go by and so close to Casa Landa. You can take a taxi boat direct from the marina and visit nearby Pakleni Otoci as well as Brac, Korcula and Vis islands. It is very easy to hire bikes and scooters in Hvar Town if you do not want to walk.
Hvar Town is now one of Croatia’s trendiest destinations for holiday makers. It is very popular with celebrities for its glitz and glamour so you can spend hours just people watching! It is the island’s hub and is estimated to draw around 20000 people a day in high season! It is supposed to have the most sunshine of all the islands in the Adriatic Sea. Many people comment that it is like a town from a fairytale with its beautiful architecture, wonderful nature and dazzling weather.The piazza is magnificent, considered to be one of the most beautiful in Dalmatia and is dominated by St Stephen’s Cathedral. The Fortress Fortica, the theatre of Hvar and the Franciscan Monastery are all equally stunning and visitors flock there. The appealing stone streets lead to wonderful restaurants and shops galore. The nightlife is what attracts so many young people to Hvar with its lively nightclubs, bars and beach parties.
If you want to get out of the town and visit the island you can either go by car or book one of the numerous excursions. Jelsa is very popular in the North of the island with its wonderful sandy beaches, fantastic restaurants, vineyards and historic cultural landmarks. The UNESCO Heritage site of Stari Grad Plain, a cultural landscape dating back to the 4th century BC is close and beautiful. Cycle trips can be taken across the countryside exploring the charming little villages.
Boat trips are plentiful and an excellent day out. You can visit many of the islands and beautiful little bays.
Guests holidaying in Hvar usually fly to Split airport and take the catamaran to Hvar Town. It is also possible book a group speed taxi boat service, taking just 55 minutes from the airport to Hvar

Best Suited For: All AgesFamilies with small children would love the location of this property. Being so quiet, away from Hvar Town, it is a great place to being them back to. As mentioned with the set up of 2 living spaces it would be ideal to have 2 small families staying or families with older children that might like a separate living space.
Kritzi Rat beach is so close by, perfect to pop down to in a quiet moment. You can buy ice creams and shelter from the sun if necessary. There is a dividing line protecting swimmers from the boats. The marina will be fascinating to young children.
From Hvar Town you can arrange many boat trips to visit some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. A tour of the Blue Cave is a must for children. It is stunning and so memorable. Many action-packed watersports are available including kayak tours of Hvar Town . Young children will love exploring the castle and eating all of the delicious goodies on offer!
There is a popular sailing school in Stari-Grad during August which is amazing for older children. They also might love the cycling excursions. Grapceva cave at Humac, full of stalactites and stalagmites is a wonder. Items from a culture from 4 BC were discovered in the cave, making it the most significant prehistoric site in the Adriatic. Gariful Organic Farm has a range of animals and horse riding. For another exciting adventure you should visit Jelsa’s Adventure Park 5 minutes walk from Jelsa harbour and it’s lovely beaches

Exceptional
Stayed at Casa Landa with 7 of my friends and we had the time of our lives. Views are unreal, apartment has everything you need and it's only a short scenic walk into the centre of Hvar. Would 10000% stay again!

Lovley stay
The villa is really nice (even though it is divided into two apartments, on the 1st floor (pool level) and 3rd floor). The pool and the view are incredible. The villa is well located, 20 minutes walk from the Hvar's Riva. We had an exceptional stay.
