Overview
Discover the luxuries of rustic Croatian glamour in this idyllic holiday Villa.
Finished in traditional stone, complimented only by sky blue wooden shutters and cream window frames, Villa Jesenice is the very definition of rustic country home and breathes traditional charm and sophistication.
Adding to this beauty, the house is ideally located amongst the hills just outside of Split. This elevated location almost makes the house seem as if it were built entirely into the hillside and offers spectacular views of the bay below, the perfect inspiration for writing, relaxing and romantic.
Staying on the outside of the home, the garden area is finished in stone and detailed fantastically to cater for all age groups. There is a barbecue, al fresco dining area, sun loungers, large parasol and of course, a pool.
The pool is perhaps the most decadent feature of the entire home; its infinity style makes it one of the best places to absorb the surrounding beauty and float those worries away.
Moving to the properties interior, the same stone theme continues, balancing raw stone texture with glass staircases and ornately carved chic furniture, this villa is like something out of a fairy tale, only with electric lighting instead of sconces!
Set across two floors, this home boasts two large bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to six guests. Each bedroom is complete with an en-suite bathroom, finished to a very high level, one of which even features a rain shower for the ultimate indulgence.
Beyond the bedrooms, there is a living area located downstairs. These raw stone walls are complimented merely by a sizeable cosy sofa, a fluffy rug and television, although with so many amazing views outside, it’s not likely to get used.
The open archway of the living area leads straight into the open plan kitchen and dining area. Both have been finished to a very high level; the kitchen is especially pretty and spacious, enough to inspire Croatian cooking from any guest!
What you should know…
- The infinity pool has quite a steep drop, so children should be monitored at all times
- There are roman steps going into the pool

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa JeseniceStep into Split, Croatia’s second largest city.
Nestled against the Adriatic Sea, Split is very much considered a coastal gem yet, is spectacularly balanced against an immense backdrop of Croatian mountains.
This has created a unique beach experience where explorers and visitors will find gorgeous, secluded sandy beaches sprawled against rolling green nature, palm trees and rustic olive groves, an idyllic retreat, perfect for picnics, romance and relaxation.
The city itself is an urban masterpiece, boasting both modern and, having been established way back in between the third and fourth century, an array of interesting medieval influences.
Subsequently, this weaves a fascinating trail throughout the city, with notable sights including the Diocletians Palace, which was a residence created for the Roman emperor himself! Though this palace now lies in a state of disrepair, the remains of this impressive structure can be found in Splits “Old Town.”
Beneath the white stone walls of the palace, there is a range of courtyards, cafes, shops and restaurants offering guests an authentic taste of modern Dalmatian life.
Also, worth visiting, especially for those who seek history are the Temple of Jupiter, the Archaeological Museum, to name but a few! Also laying nearby is the natural oasis of the Marjan forest park which oozes rustic, natural Croatian beauty, a must visit for all!
Visit Split during summer, especially around July, where the hot season sees the city transformed into a summer haven where from mid-July onwards a month-long Summer festival begins.

Nestled along the captivating Dalmatian Coast, it’s a vibrant mix of modern life and ancient history, making it a thriving hub for both locals and tourists.
The heart of Split is the historic Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stands as one of the best-preserved Roman monuments in the world. Built for the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century, this massive complex now forms the nucleus of the city. Within the palace walls, you'll discover a labyrinth of narrow streets, charming squares, and historic buildings. The Peristyle, an open-air courtyard, is a central gathering place, and both the Cathedral of Saint Domnius and the Temple of Jupiter showcase remarkable examples of ancient architecture. Strolling through the ancient streets, you'll come across quaint shops, lively cafes, and local markets.
The Riva promenade is the city's vibrant waterfront hub. Lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops, it's the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely stroll, sip a coffee, or dine while overlooking the stunning Adriatic Sea. The park features lush greenery, jogging trails, and stunning viewpoints overlooking the city and the sea. It's an ideal place for hiking, picnicking, or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the Mediterranean.
The Split region offers a variety of beautiful beaches. Bacvice and Ovcice are two popular choices conveniently located near the city centre. The sandy shores are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and trying your hand at the local beach sport, picigin. Exploring further along the coast, you'll find numerous rocky coves and pebble beaches, each with their own unique charm.
For adventure seekers, Split offers a wide array of outdoor activities and water sports. From kayaking and paddle-boarding to sailing and scuba diving, there's something for everyone who wants to experience the Adriatic up close. Split is a great base for taking boat trips to the nearby islands, where you can explore underwater caves and secluded beaches.
Croatian cuisine is known for its fresh, local ingredients and Mediterranean influence. You’ll be able to savour delicious seafood, grilled meats, and traditional recipes. To experience authentic Croatian flavours, visit the local konoba (taverns) that serve traditional dishes like pasticada (a slow-cooked beef stew), and peka (baked meat and vegetables). Pair your meal with local wines and olive oils for a complete gastronomic experience.

Perfect
The house was exactly how it was shown in the photos. New, meticulously done, very clean, nicely decorated with all that you would need. It is at the top of a Mountain and the drive up there is a bit tricky in places, you definitely need a car to go anywhere as it is isolated. You do have neighbours in the Villa next door which is owned by another family member. If you are looking for somewhere to relax with stunning scenery, then this place is ideal.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely property.
It is all new and there is nothing that is missing, the owners have thought of everything! The air conditioning works well, the beds are comfy and everything is there that you could possibly need. The views are amazing and so is the pool. The owners themselves are very friendly and kind and nothing is too much trouble. The location is great, between Omis and Split and there are nearby pebbly beaches should anyone want them along with restaurants. It is a drive up to the house from the coast but the spectacular views and the house are well worth it!
Don't miss out! Reserve now and get a full refund if you change your mind within 48hrs.
