Overview

Pool Beach Nearby Ideal for Kids All Bedrooms En-Suite

Perched on top of a hill at the very northernmost tip of Saint Lucia, for those lucky enough to stay here, Tropical Atlantis feels like the ultimate Caribbean getaway. With the Caribbean Sea to the west, and Atlantic Ocean to the east, this sumptuous holiday home occupies a commanding coastal position and the stunning views will stay with you forever. Sleeping up to twelve guests in six bedrooms, Tropical Atlantis can be easily shared by a large group of friends or more than one family.

At the heart of the villa is a beautiful courtyard, around which the living quarters and bedrooms are arranged. This serene space, visible from most corners of Tropical Atlantis, injects calmness into every room through arched windows which bring the pretty outside scene, inside. In fact, you’ll find arches throughout the entire villa atop every window, French door and along the spaces connecting room to room. Tropical Atlantis is a joy.

The master suite is perfectly designed in Caribbean colonial style with white walls and furnishings, polished dark wood floors and ceilings, fans and greenery. Lush. Your en-suite bathroom is gorgeous and the views through the French doors and windows are simply wonderful. The remaining five bedrooms are all located within this single storey villa. Boasting fabulous en-suite bathrooms, high quality furnishings and totally tropical views, all twelve guests are accommodated in style.

On the other side of Tropical Atlantis’ courtyard, you’ll find the impressive open area which make up the living space. Separated from the hallway by a series of stone arches, your lounge is spacious, welcoming and luxurious. Despite the opulent chandelier and high vaulted ceiling, this space is inviting, welcoming and just perfect for sharing with your family and friends. It’s sociably open plan with the dining room, which can seat up to twelve. Conveniently connecting to the contemporary and well-appointed kitchen, this is where you’ll enjoy delicious dinners and mouth-watering views.

Step out through any of your numerous arched French doors and fall in love with your extensive verandah. Follow it as it wraps around the villa, being sure to take in tantalising views of the Atlantic, off Cas En Bas Bay and across to the Caribbean Sea and coastline as far as Rodney Bay. On the clearest of days, you’ll glimpse Martinique in the distance. Gazing out from your fabulous covered verandah onto some of the best views in Saint Lucia, cares and worries from home will feel a very long way away.

Your sun deck is vast, shaded and adorned with outdoor lounge seating, sun beds and of course, your private pool. This indulgently long, infinity pool spans the width of the villa and will prove impossible to resist during lazy, hot days beneath the Saint Lucian sun.

With the amenities of Cap Estate on your doorstep and only about ten minutes’ drive to attractions in Rodney Bay, Tropical Atlantis is a superb choice if you want to relax in a tropical paradise and still be within easy reach of Caribbean beaches and fun.

Secluded and private, Tropical Atlantis is surrounded by picturesque views of the sea, coastline and beautifully planted gardens and sweeping lawns. For days when you want to leave this delightful haven and explore the island, you won’t have to travel far.

This amazing villa belongs to the exclusive community in Cap Estate, which is home to Saint Lucia Golf and Country Club, an eighteen-hole, championship standard golf course. Golfers will love the challenging greens and pretty fairways, fringed with palm trees and exotic flowers.

Tropical Atlantis is perfectly located for trying out a number of beaches along both the northern and western coasts. For a quiet afternoon’s sunbathing and sublime swimming in tropical waters, head to Anse Du Cap, Anse Bucne – both are black sand beaches - or Smugglers Cove. The latter is especially good for snorkelling. For more action, beach-side bars, restaurants and water sports, travel along the coast to Reduit Beach at Rodney Bay. Lined with palm trees and exuding a chilled-out Caribbean vibe, you can spend long days here soaking up the Saint Lucian sun and ambience.

Rodney Bay also boasts an award-winning marina, where you can promenade up and down the boardwalks, admiring the super-sized yachts and then stop for lunch at a quayside restaurant. Shoppers can then spend the afternoon in one of Saint Lucia’s premier shopping centres. Baywalk Mall is just beyond the marina and packed with over eighty shops, restaurants and the only casino on the island.

To experience a true Caribbean party, follow the locals lead and make your way to Gros Islet for ‘Jump Up’. It’s only about ten minutes from Tropical Atlantis and it’s where, every Friday, the streets fill with dancing, music, rum stalls, grilled fish and barbecued chicken. Bring your dancing feet, feel the vibe and party the night away with the residents of Saint Lucia!

On quieter evenings, back at your luxury villa, there’s probably no better place to appreciate the colours and beauty of a tropical sunset, than your exquisite verandah and pool terrace. Toast your Caribbean adventure with a drink and watch the as the sun slowly dips below the horizon. Bliss.

About the Island & Getting There

About St Lucia

The Land, The People, The Light – St Lucia’s motto couldn’t be more representative of this captivating sovereign island nation. Witness dazzling scenery, be spellbound by the fascinating locals and allow for St Lucia to brighten your day and show you a new way to life.

St Lucia gained its independence from the British Commonwealth in 1979 and after centuries of a French presence, which is most visible today in the original Capital of Soufrière, St Lucia is famous for its Pitons & landscapes and vivacious community.

St Lucia really is a hiker’s Nirvana! Where to start? That’s a tough question. However, with the likes of - The Diamond Botanical Gardens, Enbas Saut Waterfall Trail, Pigeon Island National Park, Sulphur Springs Park Scenic Drive and Tet Paul Nature Trail – it doesn’t matter! These UNESCO listed sites are a sight to behold. If you're likely to take to the water, you'll be able to admire the rich marine biodiversity just off the shore of St Lucia. Over 60% of the marine area is made up of coral reefs and these are very poular with snorkelers and scuba divers. Just make sure you put time aside to relish these privileged land & seascapes.

Start your cultural trip downtown in Castries. Here you will be provided with more than enough entertainment for an afternoon and evening. The local Market runs throughout the week and is certainly the right place to come for exotic fruits and tantalising Street Food - the Green Fig & Salt Fish is local delicacy and it's not scarce, so perhaps try a few variants on this regional intricacy and let us know which is your favourite! The vendors are incredibly animated, so expect a show to be put on if you choose to explore this part of the island and brush up on those haggling skills. La Place Carenage and Point Seraphine are very popular Malls and if you bear in mind the added incentive of these complexes being Duty-Free, you and your guests will certainly get some good deals (A taxi back to your villa after such an excursion is suggested!).

Many holiday makers are surprised to learn of St Lucia’s rich cocoa legacy. Ever since the 1700’s this island has been producing cocoa related products, that are incredibly sought after all across the world. Morne Coubaril Estate and La Dauphine Estate specialise in showcasing how plantations use to gather & manufacture the Cocoa Bean fruit and organise educational tours. After learning all about St Lucia’s former booming cocoa industry, you will probably need some therapy…how about chocolate therapy like you’ve never encountered before? Enquire at some of the islands more renowned Spas and you’ll be able to experience the benefits of a chocolate facial and massage. Remember - Chocolate isn’t a food, it’s a medicine!

We have selected some of the most exciting villas on the island, so browse through these dreamy holiday homes and have a look at our cheeky little guide to St Lucia!

Prior to Booking

Please be aware that St Lucia is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. This tropical rainforest climate results in the island experiencing a hurricane season, which usually occurs between June to November. • We would definitely stay here again!

    Posted by Anonymous on 22/07/2018

The location is amazing - sweeping views of Cap Estates and the ocean, including Pigeon Island. The house is stunning - very spacious with huge open areas to let the island breeze cool you. The infinity edge pool is a dream and beautifully maintained. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all spacious, one that has a shower open to the skies. The open air Koi pond was beautiful and it's a interesting feature to this house but the short rain showers most mornings made the floors very slippery and we had to put towels down to dry the floors. The housekeeper was lovely and provided us with drinks each day and cooked a lovely welcome meal. We could have spent our whole vacation at the villa but St. Lucia is a beautiful island, well worth exploring. If you are looking for a home with several large bedrooms, a incredible pool, sweeping views and lots of privacy - this is it.

  • Heaven on Earth

    Posted by Anonymous on 09/01/2018

As soon as we entered Tropical Atlantis and walked out onto the the patio whilst holding my St Lucian Rum Punch given to us upon arrival (this set the tone for the holiday ;) ) we couldn't believe the 270 degree views over the Caribbean ocean, Pigeon island, the golf course and the Atlantic ocean. It was described as "Heaven on earth" by my wife.

We had a lot of enjoyable times by the large infinity edge pool that splayed across the rear of the house, gazing over Rodey bay and the golf course. A few sun sets were spent with a box of cool Piton beers sitting with our feet in the pool as we listened to various Bob Marley tracks and we really began to get into the swing of the infamous "Caribbean vibe".

There's a great, buzzing night life in the Marina where we enjoyed a variety of meals. Parma Pizza at Elenas Pizzeria one night and fresh sushi at Rituals a few days later were my favourites, however there was also an authentic Indian restaurant which we also tried and enjoyed. The evenings spent at the house with the cook were even better. On these nights we requested locally caught fish, chicken curry and a fillet of steak with chips amongst various other meals, but these are the ones that still have my taste buds tingling!

After we pulled ourself from the very comfortable outside chairs with the Caribbean breeze providing a handsome temperature, the family and I watched some comic DVD's that we brought along with us which made for the perfect end to the evening.

"Grand, a luxurious treasure on the island or the ideal Caribbean holiday" are only a few of the incredibly positive ways of which my family and I can think of to describe Tropical Atlantis and I cannot wait until we return.

  • A dream location

    Posted by Nicole on 01/03/2016

Tropical Atlantis is a haven and a perfect Caribbean location for a gathering of family or friends.

My recent stay was undoubtedly the most luxurious and comfortable of my numerous visits to St Lucia having found accommodation that ticked every box.

Everything about Tropical Atlantis from opening the impressive front door to sipping drinks on the well appointed terrace was a joy.

Attention to detail is obvious everywhere in this beautiful villa and the stunning views cannot fail to impress.

Situated in a peaceful location you have the privacy and relaxed atmosphere that appeals yet Carribean life is a short drive away.

The staff that took care of our needs were friendly and very helpful and we truly felt spoiled.

A dream location on the very beautiful island of St Lucia and a place I would defiantly return to that is Atlantis.
