One of many wow factors, Morne Trulah’s vast living space features a floor of genuine Tudor brick, a soaring timber ceiling and far reaching views from every one of your window walls. Choosing where exactly to take dinner is a delightful problem to have here. Select from your inside-outside dining terrace just off the kitchen, or your West Deck which overlooks views from Castries all the way to Pigeon Island, your Pool Deck or an exclusive picnic on the croquet lawn – the only one on Saint Lucia. All four of Morne Trulah’s bedrooms are equal, in the spectacular views, the gorgeous furnishings and superb en-suite bathrooms that they offer to their guests. The North East suite has a private, wraparound deck plus an outdoor bathtub. Enjoy views of Pigeon Island and distant Martinique from both! The North West suite overlooks the orchid garden and this time, white sand and palm trees lie alongside the deck. From the South East suite, your views are towards two tree clad mountains and Trouya Beach and from the South West suite, you can admire views of Castries harbour and pink sunsets. Wow!

Morne Trulah’s private estate consists of seven impressive acres of beautifully planted gardens, tropical parkland and sun terraces. Following extensive renovations to the villa, hundreds of new plants and trees were planted and continue to the nurtured by a team of three, full-time gardeners. As a result, guests here can explore this gorgeous, private corner of the Caribbean from a half kilometre nature trail as it loops around Morne Trulah’s grounds. Look out for coconut palms, orchids, bougainvillea and tropical birds along the way.

Your nearest beach is Trouya Beach and it lies just below Morne Trulah. Secluded and unspoilt, venture down here for a spot of peaceful sunbathing and swim in the crystal-clear sea. For a higher tempo Caribbean beach experience, Rodney Bay’s Reduit Beach has everything from umbrellas and sun beds for hire, to inflatable rides and beach-side bars and cocktails. Snorkelling is easy from most sandy stretches, but if you’re intent on more adventurous water sports, Dive Saint Lucia is a fantastic diving school. Find it at Rodney Bay’s award-winning marina and book yourself onto sailing, diving or kitesurfing lessons.

One of the spectacular landmarks visible from Morne Trulah, is the distinctive Pigeon Island. Now connected to the mainland via a land bridge, this eighteenth century hilltop fort is well worth a visit. A much more peaceful place today, you can explore the nature trails through the National Park surrounding the summit and enjoy a picnic on the beautiful beach below.

Back at your amazing villa, you can take one last dip in your infinity pool before the sun sets. Watch as the sky turns from blue to pink and raise a glass to toast another day in paradise.

These UNESCO listed sites are a sight to behold. If you're likely to take to the water, you'll be able to admire the rich marine biodiversity just off the shore of St Lucia. Over 60% of the marine area is made up of coral reefs and these are very poular with snorkelers and scuba divers. Just make sure you put time aside to relish these privileged land & seascapes.

Start your cultural trip downtown in Castries. Here you will be provided with more than enough entertainment for an afternoon and evening. The local Market runs throughout the week and is certainly the right place to come for exotic fruits and tantalising Street Food - the Green Fig & Salt Fish is local delicacy and it's not scarce, so perhaps try a few variants on this regional intricacy and let us know which is your favourite! The vendors are incredibly animated, so expect a show to be put on if you choose to explore this part of the island and brush up on those haggling skills. La Place Carenage and Point Seraphine are very popular Malls and if you bear in mind the added incentive of these complexes being Duty-Free, you and your guests will certainly get some good deals (A taxi back to your villa after such an excursion is suggested!).

Many holiday makers are surprised to learn of St Lucia’s rich cocoa legacy. Ever since the 1700’s this island has been producing cocoa related products, that are incredibly sought after all across the world. Morne Coubaril Estate and La Dauphine Estate specialise in showcasing how plantations use to gather & manufacture the Cocoa Bean fruit and organise educational tours. After learning all about St Lucia’s former booming cocoa industry, you will probably need some therapy…how about chocolate therapy like you’ve never encountered before? Enquire at some of the islands more renowned Spas and you’ll be able to experience the benefits of a chocolate facial and massage. Remember - Chocolate isn’t a food, it’s a medicine!

Due to the open terraces and unrestricted views from all levels of the estate, Morne Trulah isn’t suitable for very young children but older kids will love it as much as you. The views are breath taking and the estate is so huge, you can go on country trails, runs and walks without leaving home! It’s a wonderland for children and grown ups alike and to top it off, you have an incredible infinity pool at the centre of the gardens, as well as Saint Lucia’s only croquet lawn!

The accommodation is pure luxury and the four bedroom suites are all as wonderful as each other, boasting views, private decks and indulgent bathrooms. With a private Chef included for up to three evenings per week, everyone is assured a luxury break at this destination villa.

Beyond Morne Trulah, you have a pristine beach virtually on your doorstep and the exciting Reduit Beach at Rodney Bay is just along the coast. It’s here that you’ll find Splash Island Water Park. Older kids will love the floating climbing wall, trampolines, high jumps and swings.

    This was the perfect vacation home for our family. The views were incredible ! We especially enjoyed the infinity pool. The walk to Trouya Beach was a bit tough and beach not clean, but it was easy drive to Windjammer Resort where we enjoyed beach and restaurant.

    Morne Villa was a lovely retreat with spectacular views over Rodney Bay. Special shout out to Nicky the groundskeeper who brought us a new fruit or vegetable just about everyday and taught our son to skip stones on the beach. Fabulous access to local Windjammer resort, dock and beach.

    From the minute we set foot on the property, we were in awe. You are first struck by the amazing views. All the bedrooms have their own view which is amazing. Most of our time was spent in the main area together. With all the open doors, there was always a nice breeze to cool things off. The bedrooms all had air conditioning which was nice at night. The rooms were all well appointed, spacious and comfortable as were the bathrooms. The croquet court proved to be quite the hit. Our "boys" spent many hours there playing. It was the first exposure to this game for several of our guests. They loved it. The house staff made the trip even more enjoyable. We had Chef Didier come 2 nights. I can not say enough about how special that was. His presentation, the food and personality were all so enjoyable. The grounds are very private and lovely. We did venture down to the private beach a few times. The infinity pool is amazing as well. Overall the experience with this home was great. The property and home are so fantastic you won't want to leave. The location on the island was helpful to get to most all activities as well.

    We were looking for a comfortable home away from home and found it at Morne Trulah Estate. The property is exactly as described with beautiful grounds, an incredible infinity pool, and a gormet kitchen that the housekeepers prepare delicious meals from. The homes architecture allows guests to enjoy beautiful views of the gardens, carribean waters and sunsets.

    I'd highly recommend this estate to families, couples, friends who want a true carribean experience with luxury..

    I recently returned from this location, and am happy to say this was one of the best places I have ever stayed in my life. There are 270° views of the ocean, from a comfortable and architecturally stunning property. For my poor part, as a Wimbledon croquet champion, the croquet lawn was a huge asset. How brilliant to play croquet in the early evening, listening to birdsong, and looking in the distance at the ocean and Martinique. The staff looking after the property were most kind. The local beaches are superb and a trip round the island is highly recommended, particularly a visit to sugar bay.
