To the rear of the kitchen is a cosy lounge and dining area decorated in traditional stylings of bright whites and rich wood tones with pops of colour that brings the room to life. Through a pair of set of shuttered patio doors, the living room opens up onto a covered terrace that overlooks the garden and ocean.

On the ground floor, two easily-accessible bedrooms are yours to choose from. Both bedrooms are decorated in chic simplistic stylings with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a private en-suite and access to a private terrace.

The gorgeous Cap Maison resort sits on the northern edge of St. Lucia, overlooking the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea. From Hewanorra Airport, you can expect a transfer time of around an hour and 45 minutes as the drive to the resort takes you through St. Lucia’s dramatic hillsides and forests - but once you’ve arrived, you’ve arrived to style. If you’re arriving at St. Lucia via cruise ship or a flight from another Caribbean island as part of a wider trip then you’ll likely arrive in Castries which is around a 30-minute drive from yourCap Maison 2 Bed Oceanview pool and terrace.

Once at Cap Maison, you’re just a short walk away from a lovely little sandy beach known locally as Smugglers Cove. This cosy cove opens up onto a quiet stretch of the Caribbean Sea where kids and adults alike love to snorkel around the reefs looking for the various sea life that call it home.

In the nearby area, you can enjoy a variety of activities including golf with a number of excellent golf courses just a short drive away from the resort.

About ten minutes away to the south-west of Cap Maison is the world-famous Pigeon Island National Park. Home to some of the best coral reefs in the world, Pigeon Island National Park is a must-see for lovers of all things nature, both above and below sea level.

Slightly further south, you can visit Rodney Bay, a lively town on the seafront with some of the best street food that St. Lucia has to offer and a lively social scene. Gorgeous beaches, like the sandy Reduit Beach, back onto Rodney Bay making it a great spot for a day away from your villa.

About the Island & Getting There

About St Lucia

The Land, The People, The Light – St Lucia’s motto couldn’t be more representative of this captivating sovereign island nation. Witness dazzling scenery, be spellbound by the fascinating locals and allow for St Lucia to brighten your day and show you a new way to life.

St Lucia gained its independence from the British Commonwealth in 1979 and after centuries of a French presence, which is most visible today in the original Capital of Soufrière, St Lucia is famous for its Pitons & landscapes and vivacious community.

St Lucia really is a hiker’s Nirvana! Where to start? That’s a tough question. However, with the likes of - The Diamond Botanical Gardens, Enbas Saut Waterfall Trail, Pigeon Island National Park, Sulphur Springs Park Scenic Drive and Tet Paul Nature Trail – it doesn’t matter! These UNESCO listed sites are a sight to behold. If you're likely to take to the water, you'll be able to admire the rich marine biodiversity just off the shore of St Lucia. Over 60% of the marine area is made up of coral reefs and these are very poular with snorkelers and scuba divers. Just make sure you put time aside to relish these privileged land & seascapes.

Start your cultural trip downtown in Castries. Here you will be provided with more than enough entertainment for an afternoon and evening. The local Market runs throughout the week and is certainly the right place to come for exotic fruits and tantalising Street Food - the Green Fig & Salt Fish is local delicacy and it's not scarce, so perhaps try a few variants on this regional intricacy and let us know which is your favourite! The vendors are incredibly animated, so expect a show to be put on if you choose to explore this part of the island and brush up on those haggling skills. La Place Carenage and Point Seraphine are very popular Malls and if you bear in mind the added incentive of these complexes being Duty-Free, you and your guests will certainly get some good deals (A taxi back to your villa after such an excursion is suggested!).

Many holiday makers are surprised to learn of St Lucia’s rich cocoa legacy. Ever since the 1700’s this island has been producing cocoa related products, that are incredibly sought after all across the world. Morne Coubaril Estate and La Dauphine Estate specialise in showcasing how plantations use to gather & manufacture the Cocoa Bean fruit and organise educational tours. After learning all about St Lucia’s former booming cocoa industry, you will probably need some therapy…how about chocolate therapy like you’ve never encountered before? Enquire at some of the islands more renowned Spas and you’ll be able to experience the benefits of a chocolate facial and massage. Remember - Chocolate isn’t a food, it’s a medicine!

We have selected some of the most exciting villas on the island, so browse through these dreamy holiday homes and have a look at our cheeky little guide to St Lucia!

Prior to Booking

Please be aware that St Lucia is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. This tropical rainforest climate results in the island experiencing a hurricane season, which usually occurs between June to November. When thinking about booking your holiday to St Lucia, please consult Foreign travel advice for more information.

Kids

Best Suited For: All Ages
Ideal for Kids Ideal for Teens

There’s no need to worry about bringing kids along on your trip to the Cap Maison 2 Bed Oceanview pool and terrace as kids are well-catered for around the resort. At your villa, kids can make themselves right at home with their own bedroom complete with a flat-screen TV for watching their favourite programmes.

If they have personal devices with them, kids can connect to Cap Maison’s high-speed internet, allowing them to keep in touch with friends and family back home while they're away. They can also use the internet to stream music, TV and play video games.

Kids of all ages love the rooftop terrace and gardens as they provide lots of space to run around and play. Above all else, though, kids tend to love the rooftop swimming pool as it’s just the right depth to splash around and cool down in for most ages and abilities. The pool can be deep in places though, so we do advise you to pay close attention to small children around the pool.

Around the resort, kids can head down to Smugglers Cove for some well-earned beach time. Here, they can play in the sand and splash in the waves of the Caribbean Sea, or they can borrow a range of non-motorised watersports equipment for fun in the water.

Beyond the resort, there’s more water-based fun to be had if you head into Rodney Bay for the day. Located just off the coast of town, the Splash Island Water Park is a great way to let kids blow off some steam and tire themselves out. The first of its kind in St. Lucia, Splash Island is an open-air water park.
